I need to bleed my hicas. I have read a thread about getting under the car on stands and getting somebody in the car to turn the wheel from left to right with it in gear at 2000rpm plus. I would prefer to use conzult. Could anyone please tell me what one I need to buy. I see several on ebay but not sure if the cd is just the driver and not actually the conzult software???? Having no where to store a zed in winter is crap, we all know that. The last two winters mines gone into hibernation. I think I can honestly say it's received more weather related damage than being used. So in honour of the new tax law, allowing the payment to be monthly, making life easier and the extensive anti rust program I went through last winter, I've decided to just keep driving it, unless it's salty/raining. So I thought I'd start a new thread on the back of the colour threads. It's for the winter warriors, we see the garage queens posted up now I want to see the daily driven zeds, the dirty, used ones. So although mine isn't the aim of thread, you can't start wi…

I took advantage of the z1 Black Friday sale and treated the 300 to an early xmas present. Some new jdm fog lights- unfortunately one of the end caps came broken, hoping z1 will sort this swiftly New scuttle set as my old one although in good condition is not perfect. Also got some new door seals as the ends on mine were damaged and I wanted to get some fresh ones while they are still available. Also picked up a few bits and bobs including some new targa bolts, some door latch covers, set of gauge rings and a radiator hose kit.

Have any of you guys owned a TT then moved on to an NA? If so how do you find the difference in performance, drive etc. I'm still looking to get back into a Zed and might be going down the auto NA route. Although as some of you may know, my ultimate preference is a SWB TT. Should I do it? Reality is that I won't be in a position to afford my preffered Zed. All thoughts and opinions welcome. Daffy.

Hi guys - my car is across the local garage, Istarted it up and could immediately smell petrol very strongly They had a look at it and I have a bad fuel leak, it's spraying out from the high pressure fuel rail What they wanted to know (and I don't know the answer) is should there be this little rubber pipe clamped on with jubilee clips (see pics) or is the fuel rail supposed to be all metal piping. The petrol is spraying out from where the arrow is pointing. They say they could just tighten up the jubilee clip but are a bit loath to undertake the job if this rubber pipe is a modification/prvious repair as they say they would be responsible if the leak ret…

I am looking at EBC and Mintex products. Can anyone offer any personal experiences with either? Also, struggling to work out whether green or red pads would be better for my car, the car never goes on track and rarely gets driven hard. The existing brembo pads that are on it now do seem to run out of puff though on the odd occasion I have braked heavy from speed. Thanks

I am getting a steering wheel shimmy when braking and suspect the torsion arm bushes. I have seen that you can buy replacement arms for less than £100, does anyone have these? Or can offer advice on where to buy? Or, are the bushes still available to press into the existing arms? Thanks

Came across this blog today which belongs to an American member here. It's probably the best Z32 blog I've seen yet. Particularly the model differences and evolution details, which are far more comprehensive than other sources I've seen. The scale of the interesting and useless facts he has is crazy! Particularly on Jap zeds - I learned quite a bit from it about my own car, such as that the "UV Cut" decal on my DS quarter window isn't aftermarket. Just as well I didn't remove it after all. :whistling: Iangreenfield, some bits may also appeal to you as I hadn't known some of the details about the version R.

I've always secretly quite pleased that my little Shortie is unique around where I live :) So you can imagine my surprise when I came across another SWB T-top TT this afternoon! So much surprise, in fact, that I had to go back and get a couple of snaps of the two of them together: No owner popped out to see what I was up to and I didn't want to start knocking on doors (like a crazy person!), but wow! Not as unique as I first thought in these parts...

Hi all, It was only during my first engine pull last weekend that I noticed the routing of the power steering hoses. They route forward from the power steering pump, across in front of the radiator, back along through the engine bay, just to get to the left side of the steering rack. I can only assume this is for an optional PS fluid cooler, or is it for fluid quantity purposes? Can it be rerouted a more direct route to the rack? While the engine Is out Im trying to find an NA PS pump to get rid of all remainder of the hicas pipes which are currently just looped.
