Happy new year to you guys! I have replacement gear link bushes in hand but i was looking online to see how to fit them. I ran a search through this site but couldn't see anything. Could someone link to me to a decent guide as to how to do this? Or, if someone was feeling generous, I'd quite happily pay (and make tea) for anyone willing to come and show me how. Mike

OK, so it appears the gaskets between my centre and rear sections on my Greddy/Trust exhaust have expired. Does any one know where I can get replacements, and secondly, could I use other make gaskets instead?

So, I've blown another hole in one of these rubbish pipes - Paul is thankfully going to make me some bespoke ones sometime in the new year which is awesome. Anyway, while I had a few pipes off, I decided to do some tests to see if I could find any other air leaks as although the car was fine, I've suspected a little one somewhere, and ive found it, hidden where in can't see :)

In the middle of a timing belt service and there appears to have been no keyway on the crankshaft pulley from a previous service.. Can anyone recommend where I can get one? Looked on all the z websites and been local auto dealers and no luck. I've messaged a few breakers on ebay too but I think they just don't want to sell me such a small component..

Hi all I am just wondering if anyone knows of an auto technician in Swale/Medway area (mobile if possible)? I have a problem with my alarm and immobiliser preventing me from being able to drive the car at all (won't start). Thought it was worth asking the question here :) Thanks Brett

Hey, All my brake pipes are corroded to hell and leaking (non runner project car). I've replaced a lot of brake pipes before no problem, but I'm wondering if anyone has some advice/opinions if they have had it done? I have a pipeline diagram and have a pretty good idea of whats going on. As far as the actual connections at the rear go though, the corroded nuts and awkward access don't look too good. I'm wondering if anyone has actually rerouted their new pipes instead? I.e. drilling holes at either side of the boot for the new pipes to be sized and fitted easily. My main worry is the rear pipes, as they don't have their individual pipes from the ABS ac…

With the imminent MOT around the corner, last year I had an advisory on play in the Upper Camber arms. Can anyone recommend if i should stick to the original arms and just replace the bushes or should I get aftermarket replacements. There are plenty on eBay but I'm unsure of the quality? If I was to replace the bushes in the OEM arms, where is the best place to get them and what is the rough cost? Many thanks.

Hi All, My Dad has a G Plate gun metal grey 300zx TT sat in the Garage (Jap import) with 70 thousand KM on the clock and it's Auto. Does anyone know if the VG30DETT mated to an auto actually put out 276BHP or was it in reality higher than this due to the Japanese gentlemens agreement ? Anyone know what she will pull 0-60 roughly with no mods? We had it chipped back in Y2K but fuel consumption went a bit mental and when it shot up to 1.40 we had it removed. Also would anyone have an idea what it is worth? Are 300zx's now appreiciating ? Don't see many of them on the road ever now. It's good nick with no mods at all. Thanks Jack

So as I have two engines to remove and one to put back in I think its time to invest in my own stand. Seen this on ebay for the engine hoist http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/130515229853?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT And this for a stand http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/290980276359?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Anyone got any experience on this and do they look sufficient for the job ? Also will be needing a way to transfer the engine down the garden path and into my hut. Can a zed engine be lifted by hand with two people just to transfer it onto a trolley to move it ?

Pulled out a pair of Addzest 80W tweeters from the back of my Z and they look beyond saving. Standard size 10*15cm (4*6inch). What else is out there for a direct fit? Preferably cheapish, don't need a great sound system really.

Does anyone happen to know whether the velour interiors had any variation in colour/shade between different specs? Specifically, are late spec blue Zeds velour "bluer" then the early model velour (which seem to have a blue hue!)?

Hello, My 300zx (1990 Z32 tt) is a work in progress - bought it as a non runner. Current issue I'm facing is a horrific groan/whining from the power steering when the steering wheel is moved even slightly. I was going to go ahead and order a service kit, strip the pump down etc and try that before getting a new pump ££, but looking for confirmation of leaks first. I have a huge history for the car, and it shows the HICAS was removed in 2010 at 131k miles, shortly before it's SORN (owner passed away) in 2011 at 132k. Currently I have some of the engine stripped etc so can't start it up and test it with new fluid (is a little low), but I was just wonderi…
