I am looking at EBC and Mintex products.

 

Can anyone offer any personal experiences with either? Also, struggling to work out whether green or red pads would be better for my car, the car never goes on track and rarely gets driven hard. The existing brembo pads that are on it now do seem to run out of puff though on the odd occasion I have braked heavy from speed.

Mintex I always found lasted longer and stopped well with less dust. EBC were always thought of as a bit gimicky but may be better now?

I have mintex pads on both my zed's they are more than good enough for normal to fast road use in my opinion.

Same here, fitted mine earlier this year and they have been good:)

I've previously had mintex and found them to be really good on the road. I've got EBC yellowstuff on it now and they don't really bite very well unless you get some heat into them.

I know, but they're sold by ebc as having cold performance at least equal to OEM pads, but this isn't the case.

Thanks, I understand Mintex only do the one sort of pad for the 300zx? What discs are you using with yours also?

I've got EBC Grooved discs on mine. I don't think there's much to say about them really, other than they haven't warped.
