Just wondering if its easy to get hold of a Jap spec windscreen. Mine currently has a UK windscreen so has obviously been changed at some point. I want to get it back matching the rest sometime next year.

Also anyone any ideas on rough cost to buy and fit?

Give National Windscreens a call. Apparently, there is some supply of bronze glass - but not too sure on what amount and how much. National are pretty good too. DON'T call Autoglass.

I'd personally spend some time getting blue glass all round. Much nicer and cleaner looking than the bronze.

Ah ok, I was thinking I'd have to get the windscreen myself and then get someone to fit it. I know what your saying about blue glass but I actually think the bronze works better on a red car. On a white one like yours I'd definitely be thinking of going blue.

So, what's wrong with Autoglass?

Autoglass are a complete and utter rip-off if it's for private work.

National Windscreens charge £160 to fit a blue UK tint - Autoglass want around £800.

They were the same with other cars I've had. They're a complete rip-off unless they're part of your own windscreen cover.

Random idea... Is anyone wanting to swap to a blue tint windscreen who has a bronze one..... Just an idea? :)

Windscreens don't often have a habit of coming out complete, no matter how careful you are.

Blue works so well on a red car as JoelyP is testament to! The difference it made was huge and gives the car a clean, slick and modern look.

Just a thought. Won't be doing it for a while anyway. Just looked at the car outside and it just annoys me they don't currently match.

I think I like the way the bronze gives them a darker look. My rear windows are quite a dark tint so it will just flow better imo. JoelyP's car looks good but has clear windows all round so works better.

Would two door windows be cheaper? You could try to get them blue as well and tint the rear/quarters so they're not noticeable.

My old black Zed had (and likely still has) a blue windscreen with bronze glass everywhere else - looked a little odd. Especially noticeable when everything was iced up!

How much is it all in to supply and fit front screen ?

But then there's the Targa glass aswell. Think the easiest option would be to just change the windscreen. Am I the only one who likes the bronze?
