Hi all, Does anyone know the spacing between the bolt holes on the zed calipers? As im looking at fitting after market ones with the spacing of 150mm will this be much of a problem Regards

I've just bought a Kenwood KDC-W3037 single DIN head unit from Halfrauds with my usual "how hard can it be" attitude towards fitting it and cannot for the life of me work out how you are supposed to secure it into the dash. I have come to the conclusion that I must be missing a part and thought I'd post on here to find out if anyone knows what I am missing and where I can get it :) - I've even resorted to reading the instructions and they are no help as they just say bend the tabs of the mounting cage and screw it in (with screws that aren't included!!! :shock:). The only screw holes behind the radio surround are the 2 at the top but it looks like there used to be 2 more …

Had to have my exhaust welded up to get through the MOT. Had thought it was stainless all the way through but it isn't. Hi people, I received my Greddy Profec B Spec II Boost Controler today :hyper: I've looked at the plumbing and wiring instructions and I get most of it but not all :rolleyes: and was wondering if someone local(ish) would be willing to help me fit and set it up (for an exchange of beer tokens of course) and I'll drive to you Also, I'm guessing I may need some extra tubing and maybe some 'T' pieces would I be correct with that as you only get one valve/solonoid jobby type thingy ? Anyone know where I can get the heat shield/padding to go on the inside of the bonnet? Mine's looking rather tatty so could do with being replaced. No damage to paint yet though luckily!

I assume my water pump is kaput but before dismantling thought I'd ask for any advice. Temperature started going up & with heater set at a high temperature no hot air was coming out (fan blowing set on hi). Heater would then cut in & temp. gauge drop back to mid position. Now heater won't work at all & gauge heads north after about 3 miles. Any advice very welcome.

The project in well and truly underway :smash: Today I finished fabricating the template for the drivers side exhaust manifold, taken about 3-4 hrs but I am happy with the fit and the shape - I think! Pictures are posted and before anyone moans about the welding they are rough tacks and I am not a trained welder :tongue: I think the path around the back of the engine will just squeeze in I hope as it flows nicely to the passenger side. I am about to start on the drivers side which will be tricky as it has to run along side the feed from the passenger side before the meet where the aircon pump sits. Tried to find this answer by searching but got nowhere. Does anyone know what level safety boost is? I'm running .05bar at the moment and am not sure if this is safety boost. Can anyone help? Andy

i am having problems with my brakes .[ i think anyway ] i know the tt has got abs which stops the wheels from locking up . but i can stamp on my brake pedal and there is no attempt of the wheels even locking up . they just don't feel like they are working as they should . the only thing i done is replace the front pads after the mot . since then they have not been right . could this be just a case of just bleeding them out . and replacing the fluid . i changed my brothers front pads and his stops fine . so am lost at the mo as to which way to aproach this . any ideas and info would be great . :headvswal:headvswal

Hi, Everyone with modified 300's do you find that your cars use allot of oil? Reason why i ask is that it's been just over a month since i've had my car back, last night a really loud grinding noise come from the engine and grinded to a hault, checked my oil levels and it was almost empty, assuming this noise was because there is no oil. I know bloody huge deal, checked oil only few weeks ago. Keeping in mind i've only had it back just over a month and i only drive it weekends and the odd occasion during the week does this sound right for amount oil it's burnt?

Ok just done a search on here on a few gearbox related problems, I wouldnt say mine was of a major issue but here goes. Got a noise with clutch out which is obviously an internal noise problem, i know its not gunna affect the box much and can last a good few thousand miles until it gets really noisy and rattley but its a bit annoying and im looking to have it sorted in the near future. It makes the noise when in 1st and second also. before you ask yes ive checked the gear gaitor and its fine ive even added a bit of sound dampening material..... I also get a rattle/ vibration when pulling off at about 1000/1500rpm in first and second and a bit in 3rd then it…

Sometimes it does and sometimes it's fine????? I have the R33 GTR set up with DBA slotted discs (brand new). Someone told me it may be tension rod bushes but not too sure???
