Just wanted to pubically say a BIG THANKYOU to Mackam Maz (Mark). I recently bought a new front bumper for my zed, which was for sale in Doncaster, and for collection only, causing me a problem.. Without me even asking, Mark very kindly offered to liase with the seller in Doncaster (on his day off!!), and collect the bumper on my behalf.. Mark then sent me photo's of the bumper to confirm its condition, wrapped it in bubblewrap for me, and then on Monday morning, took it to a local courier firm to forward on to me.. I took safe delivery today :hyper: Mark has gone out of his way to help me, and would not accept anything in return.. What a great guy, and what gre…

I have a small intermittant leak in the drivers side footwell but its only when system is off included picture below. Blue is the area it makes wet and the arrows are where the water comes from. Heater does not get warm very often either aircon works lovely so no probs with that. If I set heater to 25+ on the heater display I get luke warm air for some reason. I never have what you would call a toasty heater :( Anyone else had this issue and if so how was it rectified? Dont like shivering while driving lol. Thanks.

I was just walking through the Jap scrapyard just down the road from my work(looking for a part for a mate)When I saw a series 2/3-?NA Z(It has the newer steering wheel with the 2 horn buttons) . I had a chat with the scrapyard owner ... he tells me its only done 40,000 and when he had it imported the engine ran "Sweet as a nut",he's had it a while with no interest so he is going to crush it next week:smash: when I looked in the engine bay......all the components look nice and shinny:cool: I told him I'll be back... to whip stuff out the engine bay within the next couple of days. I was just wondering what I can take that will be the same for my UK TT (coil packs/balance…

hi I´m still trying to sort out the problem I’m having with the petrol tank. I know all about the petrol tank causing a slight vacuum through pumping the fuel and the air not being replaced entirely until the vacuum pressure opens the valve on the petrol cap to allow air in but mine is doing the opposite, when I open the fuel cap air isn´t being sucked in it’s actually being blown out, so much so that if I jam the small valve on the petrol cap open it starts to spit petrol out. How can the petrol tank be under pressure like that? I have to open the petrol cap every 20-30 km to release the pressure otherwise the pump starts to fail. Any ideas wo…

  17. Peeps, After my last thread about wheels, ive whittiled down to these 3 wheels Volk TE37 In Bronze Work Emotion CR in Bronze or finally Nismo LM GT4 yet again in bronze. Ive photoshopped them VERY quickly onto my car. Something i cant do on PS is the profile of the spokes change with these wheels depending on the width of the wheel, to show they are infact deeper than the front, but you get the idea Volks Works Nismo Over to you Nick

Hi All, New to 300sx ownership but very familiar with 200sx's anyways... ive done some digging about on the forums and believe I have found an answer but wonder if anyone could confirm? I believe the rear oil seals of the turbo on the pass side of my car have gone as when you rev from cold start smoke comes from that side or if you come to a halt an idle for a few minutes and then rev, smoke appears from same side and does smell oiley. Does this indeed sound like turbo seals, or could it be something else? - I'm sure I read that the seals were prone to going around the 60K miles mark. TIA for your advice. -Stu

  21. ok so i did a silly thing and couldn't find an axle stand point when i was changing the engine oil. To cut a long story short i put it on the ball joint/rose joint bit where the tension rod meets the chasis for a moment before deciding it wasn't a good idea. Been getting a probressivly louder crunching noise from the front end over bumps until the cars warmed up and also its leaking oil from that joint. Steerings a bit funny too, However somethings come up and i need to drive it out of London. Is it liable to break or if it does will the joint just break and it will stay attached ???? Or am i fine taking it easy.

I've just bought a Kenwood KDC-W3037 single DIN head unit from Halfrauds with my usual "how hard can it be" attitude towards fitting it and cannot for the life of me work out how you are supposed to secure it into the dash. I have come to the conclusion that I must be missing a part and thought I'd post on here to find out if anyone knows what I am missing and where I can get it :) - I've even resorted to reading the instructions and they are no help as they just say bend the tabs of the mounting cage and screw it in (with screws that aren't included!!!). The only screw holes behind the radio surround are the 2 at the top but it looks like there used to be 2 more …
