  1. I hope Zogg isnt too mad that Jimmer took a breather from his zed for a couple of days but this weekend he had christZtine back in for her continued 'im not stopping until everything has broken' type surgery! For her continued run of things going pop she has been awarded a new pair of GT525's.. A big thanks to Jimmer and of course his accomplice, Darrell (whos only gone and bought himself a zed ).. a real credit to these 2 as they work like a well oiled machine! having arrived @ 7am on saturday morning, the operation began... by 9am the engine was out  and having its defective stock turbos removed to be placed on the naughty step indefinately for not …

i have finally had enough of the shite braking after only 2 months so gonna get some 6 pots, which of the Skyline brakes fit the Z32, are thet all 6 pots on the r33/r34, will they all fit, do i need to look out for anything, will i need new disks too (Bigger) or can i use what i'm running on now and change at a later date, the priority is to keep the car on the road and to do the upgrade in stages (not go and spend a grand in one go) maybe buy the callipers now and new disks in 6 months. any advice will clearly be useful as i know basically nothing cheers

I have bought some used front disc's from a guy on ebay, they were discribed as in good condition with alot of life in them which one of them is, but the other one is not (see Photo's)when I emailed him to complain he sent this reply. I feel they were described accurately. however you have 2 choices refund disks for a £2.20 refund. Not worth while. Pay postage again, return disks and I'll send you another pair Pay £100 and I'll send you a brand new set. what should be my next step.

hi all, i fancied a spin in my '91 tt auto zed today so i took it down the motorway for a good sunday thrashing. at one point whilst accelerating, the engine hesitated, almost as if gearbox couldnt decide on which gear to use, i took foot off throttle then accelerated again and the whole car started to shake and felt powerless. within seconds of this happening the cat warning light came on so i pulled over, once car was at idle it sounded like it was missing until when i popped the bonnet and wiggled a connector right beside the oil cap the engine seemed to sort itself out!? i started driving car again and all seemed fine for a while, but 15 mins later it happened again! r…

Now that I've got my new wheels on, I am considering lowering the suspension, particularly as the front is a little higher than the rear. At the moment the clearance from the top of the tyre to the wheel arch is 4cm at the rear and 5cm at the front. I am thinking of lowering the rear by 2cm and the front by 3cm, so that both would have a clearance of 2cm. Will this give enough clearance for the suspension to work without the wheels rubbing the arches?

Well........I've got them on at last:nana2::nana2: My new wheels arrived Thursday, after some delays, and they're now fitted and looking really cool IMHO. The difference compared to the stock wheels is amazing!:hyper::hyper: The new wheels are 18" FUEL 5's with 8.5" on the front and 9.5" on the rear and I think these widths are just right for the unmodified wings, do you agree? Here's a few photos to show them off...........please let me have your opinions. My next task will be to lower the suspension but I'm not sure at the moment how low to go!

Got one of those indiglo dials kits from flea bay. Only downside is it has it's own switch so i have to first turn on the lights with the main switch then turn it on with it's own switch. What i really want is for them to come on when i turn on the main lights so no need for an additional switch. I've found the 12v feed to the lights which i've wired the transformer into. They do come on when i turn on the main switch but not all the time. I've worked out that the switch to turn on the indiglo lights is not a permanent on/off 12v feed switch, it just makes a contact then dissengages. Does anyone have this set up and have they re-wired it so it com…

just thought id show off my custom seat replacement leatherette  cant wait to get it installed, but first i want to replace the crappy tweed with a similar dark blue, and perhaps go for the aluminium dash cover too. i also have a wide horizontal pod to fit one of my Apexi gadgets, new handbrake gaitor, and a sexy Nissan fire extinguisher. but first the Z has to behave itself as its MOT time at the end of this month and she's been behaving quite badly since the rebuild (needed connections soldering from PTU s1 adapter to s2 as sometimes it would drop a couple of cylinders, broken water pipes at front of engine required me to get it recovered back to mine, then back t…

Several miles on a straight road and my HICAS light would come on. Some ware, so had rear hicas arms and bushes replaced. Sadly not solved the problem. My MOMO stearing wheel is about 2 minutes off centre and needs turned back anti clock by as much. But once inside boss discovered red wires and green and red which work the horn. But olso from earth yellow connecter for something and white 4 pin plug. Is this the HICAS connection or was it something to do with an air bag on original wheel? So to move the wheel what you think? Big centre nut and move it on the splines. If it will budge. Or move it round on the alan key fixings. Or is it not worth the bother because these wi…

Took the Z out for a spin after 10 months parked in the garage. I noticed the turbo guage is not functioning, when you start her up the guage moves to the midle and stays on 0 mark, and when switched off goes back. The power on the car hasent droped, and everything else seems normal anyone have any ideas what could be wrong. Help appreciated. Thanks OZ.
