Stopped inside the Police boundry surrounded by fire trucks ambulances and police. Just behind a car on it's side and another head first into a barrier which firemen where cutting to pieces. It didn't look like you were involved in the accident as your road positioning and no sign of damage on the car showed. Myself and the wife were just interested what part you were playing in the incident. Male dirver with female in passenger seat. Was it you ? If so spill the beans.

It looks like the gearbox may be coming off soon so I might as well do the subframe bushes at the same time. The back end has been feeling really vague for a while and when powering out of corners it seems to squirm from side to side. The HICAS has been removed and it's on Koni shocks and Blitz springs that are about 4 years old with hardly any use. Is there anything else that could be causing it to feel like the rear wheels are coming off? LOL Might be best getting uprated ones as the car is running a lot of power. Where's best to get a set of subframe & diff bushes and how much? Anyone got the Z1 solid ones? I'll take the subframe out and get the…

Just watched a Top Gear rerun on Channel Dave, the one where they work a night shift for a scooter/taxi company and road test the 'fares' cars. When Hammond has done his first drop and on his way to the second fare he races a Blue Zed from the lights... just wondering if it is anyones on here? Blue with Veilside front i think it was.

As above, any advice on the best place to get these from for our cars as both mine need replacing. I was looking at Demon Tweeks but don;t really want to go down the 'universal' route was wondering if there's anywhere that makes them specifically for the 300?..... Not looking for original replacements either, preferably blue or silver?.... James

On Sunday I came out the house and on the corner of my street there was a grey Z with Veilside front and I think, big spoiler and round rear lights. Anyone here? I almost went and knocked on the door to ask who's it was!

One of the major benefits from membership of this club is the help many of our members receive when carrying out modifications etc to our Zeds. I've had an idea for a while now which could benefit many of us even more...... by having a club TECHNICAL DAY/WEEKEND. It would comprise a national meet, somewhere fairly central, where subscribed members who need help and guidance carrying out some modification/repair/service/upgrading/etc. to their Zeds could get together and, under supervision of some knowledgable person, carry out the work required. The 'some knowledgable person' might be a knowledgable volunteer member and/or a qualified Zed mechanic who would…

Yesterday the Victoria members of the Aus300zx forums enjoyed a massive cruise event spanning 500kms. So i thought id share the cruise photos i took from yesterday. The cruise got a record 35+ zeds and a couple of none zed participants which was a site to see for a zedder whos never seen this before. http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?p=706491#post706491 Basically the cruise travellers along a long stretch of road on the west coast of Victoria and follows the curves of the coastline creating alot of twisty roads, which alot of the vic members seem to enjoy driving through and the view from these roads of the coastline is specatluar. Anwyas the mee…

I hope Zogg isnt too mad that Jimmer took a breather from his zed for a couple of days but this weekend he had christZtine back in for her continued 'im not stopping until everything has broken' type surgery! For her continued run of things going pop she has been awarded a new pair of GT525's.. A big thanks to Jimmer and of course his accomplice, Darrell (whos only gone and bought himself a zed ).. a real credit to these 2 as they work like a well oiled machine! having arrived @ 7am on saturday morning, the operation began... by 9am the engine was out  and having its defective stock turbos removed to be placed on the naughty step indefinately for not …

i have finally had enough of the shite braking after only 2 months so gonna get some 6 pots, which of the Skyline brakes fit the Z32, are thet all 6 pots on the r33/r34, will they all fit, do i need to look out for anything, will i need new disks too (Bigger) or can i use what i'm running on now and change at a later date, the priority is to keep the car on the road and to do the upgrade in stages (not go and spend a grand in one go) maybe buy the callipers now and new disks in 6 months. any advice will clearly be useful as i know basically nothing cheers

I have bought some used front disc's from a guy on ebay, they were discribed as in good condition with alot of life in them which one of them is, but the other one is not (see Photo's)when I emailed him to complain he sent this reply. I feel they were described accurately. however you have 2 choices refund disks for a £2.20 refund. Not worth while. Pay postage again, return disks and I'll send you another pair Pay £100 and I'll send you a brand new set. what should be my next step.

hi all, i fancied a spin in my '91 tt auto zed today so i took it down the motorway for a good sunday thrashing. at one point whilst accelerating, the engine hesitated, almost as if gearbox couldnt decide on which gear to use, i took foot off throttle then accelerated again and the whole car started to shake and felt powerless. within seconds of this happening the cat warning light came on so i pulled over, once car was at idle it sounded like it was missing until when i popped the bonnet and wiggled a connector right beside the oil cap the engine seemed to sort itself out!? i started driving car again and all seemed fine for a while, but 15 mins later it happened again! r…

I will start the ball rolling Skyline GTR R33/R34 front and rear calipers and discs Nissan 350z front calipers and discs, I know the rears fit but need modding can someone explain further? AndyP? Nissan Terrano MkII exec spec chrome interioir door handles Renault rear wiper, again not sure what model?

Now that I've got my new wheels on, I am considering lowering the suspension, particularly as the front is a little higher than the rear. At the moment the clearance from the top of the tyre to the wheel arch is 4cm at the rear and 5cm at the front. I am thinking of lowering the rear by 2cm and the front by 3cm, so that both would have a clearance of 2cm. Will this give enough clearance for the suspension to work without the wheels rubbing the arches?
