Well........I've got them on at last:nana2::nana2: My new wheels arrived Thursday, after some delays, and they're now fitted and looking really cool IMHO. The difference compared to the stock wheels is amazing!:hyper::hyper: The new wheels are 18" FUEL 5's with 8.5" on the front and 9.5" on the rear and I think these widths are just right for the unmodified wings, do you agree? Here's a few photos to show them off...........please let me have your opinions. My next task will be to lower the suspension but I'm not sure at the moment how low to go!

Got one of those indiglo dials kits from flea bay. Only downside is it has it's own switch so i have to first turn on the lights with the main switch then turn it on with it's own switch. What i really want is for them to come on when i turn on the main lights so no need for an additional switch. I've found the 12v feed to the lights which i've wired the transformer into. They do come on when i turn on the main switch but not all the time. I've worked out that the switch to turn on the indiglo lights is not a permanent on/off 12v feed switch, it just makes a contact then dissengages. Does anyone have this set up and have they re-wired it so it com…

just thought id show off my custom seat replacement leatherette  cant wait to get it installed, but first i want to replace the crappy tweed with a similar dark blue, and perhaps go for the aluminium dash cover too. i also have a wide horizontal pod to fit one of my Apexi gadgets, new handbrake gaitor, and a sexy Nissan fire extinguisher. but first the Z has to behave itself as its MOT time at the end of this month and she's been behaving quite badly since the rebuild (needed connections soldering from PTU s1 adapter to s2 as sometimes it would drop a couple of cylinders, broken water pipes at front of engine required me to get it recovered back to mine, then back t…

Several miles on a straight road and my HICAS light would come on. Some ware, so had rear hicas arms and bushes replaced. Sadly not solved the problem. My MOMO stearing wheel is about 2 minutes off centre and needs turned back anti clock by as much. But once inside boss discovered red wires and green and red which work the horn. But olso from earth yellow connecter for something and white 4 pin plug. Is this the HICAS connection or was it something to do with an air bag on original wheel? So to move the wheel what you think? Big centre nut and move it on the splines. If it will budge. Or move it round on the alan key fixings. Or is it not worth the bother because these wi…

Took the Z out for a spin after 10 months parked in the garage. I noticed the turbo guage is not functioning, when you start her up the guage moves to the midle and stays on 0 mark, and when switched off goes back. The power on the car hasent droped, and everything else seems normal anyone have any ideas what could be wrong. Help appreciated. Thanks OZ.

Hi Guys, hoping someone might be able to help me, i now have water leak from the back of the engine, from the threads and what i can see looks like its that little one that is a tw@t to get to, although appears that it can be done with the engine in. Anyway no chance of me being able to do it on the drive, so Im looking for someone local to york that can tackle the job, ideally done it before because i guess it would easier second time round. Know anyone please let me know. many thanks Alan

When you take your car for an MOT within the last month the old one expires, I know that he garage will date the new one to expire 12 months from the expiry of the old one. However if the car fails within that last month of the current certificate, is the car still MOTd for a month or does the failure invalidate that test certificate, even though there is a month to go? I know in the old days, you would still have a valid certificate, but these new digital ones are recorded on the DVLA database. So once that failure is logged are you no longer "legal?" I thought the same applied to new cars too - one of my company vehicles is 3 years old at the end of this …

I sold my lovely zed in Nov 2005. Infact I was robbed because I was out of work and destitute at the time. hey oh.! Anyway 300horses was the robber..... Does anyone know what happened to it, it would be interesting to find out. I know he was trying to sell it on for what I was after for it after he bought it but to be truthful I didnt want to know after I let it go. I only just come back on here out of curiosity to see if I could find anything out. Some of you may remember it. Candy paint. very sparkly!! If anyone can shed any light I would be interested to know. I still toy with the idea of geting another one.....

I must be missing something here!!! I have followed various threads on how to remove the front bumper from my uk 300zx tt but she still will not budge. So far I have removed 4 bolts from under the front center panel, all screws from wheel arches, 4 nuts from behind the lights, All screws from front air scoop. It feels as though there are hidden fixings behind the number plate panel but can not figure out how to remove it.:headvswal:headvswal. Pease help!!!:cry:
