My car bottoms out coming up the drive so I want to raise the suspension slighty at the front. Does anyone know on these coilovers whether I need to turn the bottom c bolt to the right, upwards towards the spring or to the left, downwards away from the spring?? I'm guessing away from it but I'm not 100% Cheers

I've had my dash apart fitting my led converted dials and found this white box tucked up in there with a fair bit of wiring in a nice little roll. It connects to a 'button' which I've been pressing for a year wondering what it does but never figured it out! The cabling seems to be cut and not goin anywhere apart from one end at the button....which you can see to the right of the ignition... So...does anyone know what it is??

Car failed MOT on brake pipes. Think it actually failed for Hicas pipes as a couple of days later the Hicas pipe burst. However got the rear subframe off(belated thanks to nellys300zx) and am about to replace all the piping hicas, brake and fuel.Brakes no problem, Cunifer twin flare bish bosh bash. Hicas, no problem new flex hoses made by hydraulics bods. Fuel pipes. probs, what do I use for the piping, Cunifer or steel alloy and how do I make the nipples (oooer sounds a bit rude) on the pipe ends to locate in the rubber tubing, or do I really need them?

I am getting water leaking into the boot. At first i thought it was the rubber gater on the rear wiper. I have changed this and i am pretty sure its not that. It looks like it could be coming from the bottom of the window where the rubber seal is. How can i fix this?

As you know, series 1/series 2 non-SRS has the speed/set controls on the steering wheel with the indicator paddle on the right hand side. (Shown is a USDM car which has the indicator on a different side to JDM models), but all series 2+ came with indicator stalks on this side. I have an aftermarket steering wheel (Momo Race) on my series 1 and it'll either remain or be replaced with a Momo Daytona, so will not be fitting the original steering wheel and therefore my CC still remains redundant. There's no real suitable place to mount the buttons from the steering wheel anywhere in the dash without it looking messy. So, I am looking at retro-fitting the indi…

Need to get myself a battery charger as the Z is always going flat sitting on the drive for months on end. I've borrowed a couple recently but the fuse immediately blows and I'm guessing it's down to the size of the huge Bosch battery I've got and it needing a high current to get it charged. Anyone else had this problem? Thinking of getting one form Halfords tomorrow but not sure if theirs are up to the job?

ffs it seems to be taking forever to run my engine in - although its been off the road for long spells over the last few months. that strange AIV gurgle sound coming from below the engine seems to have gone and the running temp has dropped by a few degrees so it sounds like it could have been an airlock like some of you suggested in my thread. she's now running 184-200 deg f (84-93 deg c). apart from the fooked rear wheel bearings that are going to fail me my MOT if i dont get them sorted, i need to get my suspected manifold boost leak sorted. give it another 2 months or so then it's 17psi time :duffer::dance::hurl::nana2:

I would be very very grateful if someone could help me with the following: I am considering buying a car and was told it was once a 300zx members. It is a UK twin turbo in blue, auto (1994), registration : L26 VOY Its a nice car, however when i took it for a drive i was quite disappointed, it didnt feel as fast as i think it should be. A friend of mine had a non-turbo ZX auto, this car i went to see was probably only a little faster than my mates or even about the same, or so it seemed (but it was a couple of years ago that my mate had his car, so not sure if my memory is serving me correctly). The car is low mileage (70,000 genuine), in good condition, no …

Peeps, Ive come across a little problem. With the combination of being poorly fitted, someone nudging the spoiler in a carpark and lots of speed bumps, my high level bomex spoiler has managed to work itself loose. To be honest im pretty appauled to the standard it has been fitted, with a combination of self tapping screws and double sided tape, see below. It has always been 'loose' since buying the car and has always wobbled a little bit. My question is to those who have high level spoilers, HOW have they been fitted? Has your been subjected to the same treatment as mine and been attached with a combination of screws and tape, or has it bee…

Sold my Zed, will probably get another or maybe a skyline in a year or so (after college and other projects have finished) but am left with a boost leak tester-not the home-made pop bottle thingy but the circular aluminium plug with the tyre valve in the centre that fits into the induction intake. ...Now... what I was thinking, rather than sell it, I thought it would be good to sorta donate it to the club/forum members as way as a thankyou for all the help I recieved when things didnt go right with the car. I propose that a mod take possesion of the tester and put a 'sticky' in the help/advice forum-*boost leaker tester for loan to members* that sorta thing.LoanEE to pa…

Hello, i have a some rust which is on the top of the windscreen, under the rubber seal. Its now pushing the rubber away a bit, and is probably about 3cm along though only about 2mm(visable) into the metal on top. It needs work. I'm assuming that to get this bit chopped and cut out the windscreen has to come out? Does anyone have any recommendations for somewhere to do this around Cambridge area? Any ideas what kinda costs I'm looking at? Many thanks.

There is a black electrical connector block to the right of the TPS. Does anyone know what this is for and what is operates? I ask, as my idle is a bit dodgy (intermittent) at the mo, but when I push the two plugs together (as there is a bit of play and it doesnt clip properly with age) the revs settle to how they should be?
