Just wondering if anyone's running their Z on Avo springs? I'm considering fitting some instead of the Tein ones I have as they offer a more aggressive drop. 35mm over the 15mm the Tein do. Thanks in advance.

Bought my n/a jp model from a member here and just going through some of the gremlins a few of which I have sorted now :D. Main one is the Autobox which if in power or normal mode seems to not like changing until around 3-4k rpm but when in hold mode it changes properly, spoke to previous owner who was looking into the probs when he had it and has advised me he had the TPS sensor replaced. Would this need any sort of setting up ?

I have just changed the battery on my key fob as I had to be right next to the car to get it to activate. The alarm is a Coobra 7777. Now it wont work at all. Thought there must be something wrong with the fob so (like a fool)changed it for the other one (which was working) and now this one won't work either. Battery is definately in the right way. Is there some sort of initiation process that needs to be carried out every time you change a battery? At the moment I'm stuck as every time I use the key to open the car the bloody alarm goes off.

I have had my auto for 4 years now and have been really happy with it. It is one of the smoothest autos I have driven and to date have had no problems with it (touch wood). I am aware that the majority of the forum favour the manual 300zx over the auto, but what I would like to know is: Does anyone that has done the conversion regretted changing ?

Bought a new steering wheel. How hard can it be to change? Tell me how do you get rid of the electrical plug for the cruise control etc under the steering column without breaking anything and with leaving the connections for the horn intact?

Guys and Gals. Ive come across a bit of a dilemma today. I refurbed my wheels the other month and brought the lip on them back to a mirror finish, and they do look good. BUT after a week of using the car without cleaning it, they have started to pit again, and even after a good polish, there not quite as good as they were when i first refurbed them. Now, i was going to change my wheels later this year for a set of UltraLite Nurburgs with black centers (the same as topless has got) the thing is, as much as i love the look of wheels with polished lips and how they enhance the look of how wide the wheels are, I just cant be arsed in polishing them everytime i clean…
