My 2 Zeds, 1 without engine, are being delivered tommorrow! Will be able to start breaking the Blue car for spares and prepare the Black one for respray, manual conversion and new engine once i remove the old one! I just hope i havent bitten off more than i can chew with this project. Just keep telling myself it will be worth it in the end and hopefully will have an original Strosek kitted Z on the road in a few months! Just wondered where put people have put the ballasts for their HID kits, so far have seen behind the headlights and under the centre panel, any others?

ive just taken all 6 injectors out and only 3 of them have a plastice tip on them do i need them :headvswal

As most of you know I am selling my car:cry: took it for it's M.O.T. (oil change on Saturday morning) today and it passed, it's never failed a M.O.T for me which shows how good this car is. What made things worse was the bloke who M.O.T the car has done a few and he said it was the best one he has ever seen.:cry::cry::cry:

Started the Zed up today to drive as normal and on pulling away noticed some smoke pluming from the the right exhaust! It went away on changing into 2nd gear and was fine when warmed up... I noticed my Z started doing this a few weeks ago but now it's becoming a concern... When the car was parked up today after driving it I left it for an hour and started it again... No smoke on idel but when bliping the throttle to about 300rpm there was a slight blue haze which came from the drivers side exhaust which quickly soon went away... Hi I'm new to the 300ZX world (previously mostly V8's and a Porche Carrera 911, it now feels good to kicks the V8's arses...),I live in Australia but it seems you guys are more into the 300zx scene than we are here. I saw a stage 3 chip on ebay here in Oz for a claimed 400rwhp made by Marobi ???? To me this seems virtually imposible with the following details : With this chip Your 300zx will put out a staggering 400 BHP at the wheels. You will need a free flow air filter. A good free flowing exhaust. 440cc injectors........but this chip will work with standard 370cc injectors as long as you don't go mad with the boost,stay at around 14psi boost.....…

Is there a quick fix for the way the low beam goes off when the high beam is switched on? All Japanese cars seem to do this I would much prefer it if they came on together when high beam is selected. Thanks vini

afternoon gents, finally picked up my zed last week and now im worried about what ive let myself in for lol i need to get a head set plus water pump who's the best supplier for spares? also need a back section of exhaust as some tit binned the quads and put a big silly jap bin lid style thing! any ideas of who and how much?

Hey all, I was fitting my indiglow dials last night and after i'd done 'em went to drill the holes in the top of the casing to pass the wires through (as per instructions). One side fine then slipped when doing the speedo side and the drill bit went right through damaging one of the components :headvswal :xxx:. It broke of to of the progs that go into the PCB and the n the thrid one fiinally gave way as i tried to rectify my stupidity. It's a small 3 pronged blue square box with what looks like a white adjuster in the middle. about to get a hid kit for my 1992 uk tt, will a normal h3 kit work as a replacement for the headlights? reason i ask is because i heard that an extra wiring kit is needed because the headlights go out on UK Z`s when the main beams are on/flashed thanks

As in the title, may buy a second set and have a go at trimming myself, are they the same? and i mean in the idea of fitting into the car, not what material you have to buy, cheers

They are slightly bigger than stock tt discs, just an issue asto whether they will fit under the caliper? 296 vs. 280mm and extra 8mm space needed?

on tickover blue smoke comes from the n/s bank but when i switch on the air con on it changes to the o/s bank. then switsh it off again and its back onto n/s, i can do this all day long any ideas thanks

As some of you know I bought my 300zx back this week and I was very excited by the fact. Since it came back on Tuesday I seem to have lost the passion for it? I feel quite sad by this at the mo. I think it might return once I have had time to do a bit of this and that (you know me) It still goes like shite off a shovel and TBH nothing has changed at all except he put about 1500 miles on the clock. Has anyone else been here before? I mean, is this normal? :)

Hi I have just installed a new oil cooler and i am using the existing one as the autobox cooler. After driving araound for the first time since doing this mod, the oil cooler is warm to touch but the autobox cooler is red hot. Is this normal? The autobox cooler is right at the front too first one to get hit by cool air. Cheers
