Hi guys, my car has been garged for the winter and i need to get her to Zedworld for the MOT and a few other bits & pieces... Problem is the i have no brakes as the the master cylinder needs replacing aswell! Now i've just joined the AA with full Roadside & Recovery. Now, as the car is stored at a friends house if i call 'em and ask 'em to come and recover the car and take it to Zedworld as it has no brakes will they do it??? May seem like i stupid question but as it's not MOT or TAX in the window i need to be sure they'll do it.... What d'ya reckon, anyone on here done it before??? Cheerz James

i have been investingating the cause to the leak in my passenger foot well and have foud that the drain tube that comes from the top of the targa roof is not connected to anything so as soon as water runs down the tube it fills the passenger foot well it looks like the tube has either been cut or has came of from somewhere i cant see anyhwere that it should be connected to but then i dont really now what i am looking for it is so tight in there any body got any suggestions i have a an idea but feel that it is more of a bodge than a fix

After being in the garage for the last 2 months ive finally got the z back. all seemed fine and everything was good until about an hour ago when there was suddenly no boost, the guage still goes up to +7 but the turbos are much louder and theres no boost at all. just alot of noise. any ideas? cheers.

I bought this new front bumper today, rather than the Veilside c2 that I had previously considered. It is the Veilside EC1, which I think should suit my wide arch better :)

On the rear window runner, the one that you can see when you wind the window down on the pillar, there's a small pin that goes through the glass, at end of that is a ball type joint I believe. In the runner is a slider with a socket on the end of this I think. Has anyone ever replaced these? Over time, they wear a little bit leaving the window to rattle ever so slightly. Mine's not too bad, but want to replace it anyway since I've got my doors in pieces. Just wondering what's the best way to do this? Take the trim off the outer part of the pillar and do it through there or actually take the runner out from inside the door? Any help would be great. If anyone…

Just recieved my 555's in the post but they are still in the fuel rail so how do i take them out without damaging them? I wanna send them to get cleaned and tested but without the fuel rail?

I'm trying to get my catts off, which i've done and removed the battery to get the passenger side elbow off, but i cant seem to get the top two bolts off on the drivers side. anyone got any advice or tips?:confused:

Hello All, Story of my life.....I went last night to pick up my new 91 n/a manwel and half way home (of a 30 mins drive) i lost all power and died on the motorway. Managed to get it off and found that the fan belt had come off, with no tools i called my breakdown cover and they come out.....jacked the car up put the belt back on and adjusted everything. started her up and the waterpump (breakdown guy said it was the pump) caused it to have a flapping type sound and said thats why the belt come off and i lost power and that whoever fitted the belts (as all have not long been done) knew the pump was gone and didnt do the belt up that tight....... I Know this is a really silly request, but I have an MOT on Tuesday and the tyres I have ordered still haven't been despatched.:cry: Even though they should have been delivered yesterday. I wonder if this has happenned to anyone else: I went to a local shop pressed the key fob on my toad Ai606 to lock and alarm, I then came out of the shop, pressed the button to unlock and nothing... The light on the fob came on everytime i pressed the button but nada.. stood in the freezing cold wondering WTF, walked around the car, pressing and pressing. 10mins later i pressed the button again and it opened, what a relief. When i got home and parked it on the drive, i tried it again and it locked and unlocked everytime i pressed the button, it is as though someone had some sort of blocker or some sort of toy to piss people off with car alarms... I just went out to go pick up the missus from the station and the Zed won't start. I last drove it almost 2weeks ago and it drove fine (apart from slightly erratic idle which sometimes causes the engine to stall on hard breaking). This time on turning the key, the dash lights up but then...nothing. Not even turning over. My initial thoughts are that it might be ignition related as all the lights/alarm/dash seems to be working normally so I wouldn't think it was a flat batt? After resetting the immobiliser and trying a few more times I gave up and got out but when I set the alarm, instead of arming (with two hazard flashes), it flashes once and the lights stay on…

Ok as you might know.... i have had a few troubles with the zed recently.... well... its starts up fine now.... good news... bad new the revs are ALL over the place... doesn't idle proper and the revs are up n down and cuts out... I was driving it and it just cut out!!! died on me...! but luckily i wasn't going fast and there were no cars around.... parked up safely.... Noe it does start but the revs just jump up and down... and the accelerator pedal just doesn't seem to control the revs? it has a mind of its own? revs really low then finally cuts out... doesn't drive? Was getting all exited cus the boat arrives on sunday and my tt should be delivered on thursday:dance: Just looked at my inbox and i had an e-mail from the shipping company, it seems that due to 'bad weather' the boat has been delayed by a day:cry:. i need to knock back my advance a degree or 2...so i need to know when conzults plugged in and it says 15btdc is that atual or what it expects to see?? will use inductive gun anyway but ime confused by what the screens telling me ps..dont trust this v-power atm as i get a slight dett from batch to batch so ime playing safe and retarding a tad;)
