i,v got the u shape trim for the back window with the 2 plastic corner pieces ,how easy is it to replace with the window still in place ,and any tips if possible cheers tom

what does this actually do and is it better to have or not to have?

hi all. i've just noticed that my park light on the dash stays on after iv released the handbrake,in fact it stays on until the car has fully warmed up then it disapears. does this indicate something wrong with braking system or maybe a loose connection or something? i noticed it a couple days ago and its starting to bug me now,cheers fellas.

Hi guys, anybody got any advice on removing a scratch from clear plastic? somebody has decided to kindly scratch my 99spec rear light. I did hear that using t-cut on it would sort it out but i dont wanna go ahead with trying that and totally ruin the lights. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance :) Sean.

right. now the body side of things are done & the exhaust being made next week, its time to make some decisions on the interior. could do with a few ideas on colour, or colours you would consider. this will all be custom made using nappa leather. ;). heres a pic of the car to maybe give you a feel for the colour.

Can the hoses and restrictor thingy just be cleaned if the rubber is ok if so what with?

After much searching around i have finally mamaged to get hold of a Series 2 climate control pod and ecu, now the pod looks very simple to fit and i would imaging the ecu is the same, i've been told it goes somewhere in the drivers footwell, but where?????. What do i need to remove to get to it. i've just had a look and cant see anything that looks like the box that i have, do i need to pull back the carpet,remove the centre console,take off the piece under the steering wheel, any advce will be really appreciated and the more detailed the better thanks in advance

Hi Peps I'm looking for the front window wiper relay???? its doing my head in and i cant find it Tried the fuse already , motor is fine so I assume its the relay WHERE IS IT ????? Frustrared me !!!!:headvswal

I went out to start my ZX this morning and the battery is completely dead....... .....bloody typical; I discovered the MOT runs out today and my local garage could have done it for me. Julia took the Rav to work this morning and the SLK's bonnet is too long to get close enough with my jump leads. D'oh:slap: I reckon it must be time for a new battery - it was flat-ish last weekend but I jump-started the Z and took it for a 20 mile drive. I didn't set the alarm either as that can drain a battery but I thought there may have been some life left in it. C'est la vie.... Richard:x:

Looking at courtesys website the hoses changed in 05/90, As my car is a '90 J spec how can I tell the month of manufacture? Or does it not really make much difference which hose I use?

Now in most cars this is a straight forward job. In the 300 this doesn't appear to be the case! I've bought a nice new wheel for my car but there does appear to be the necessity for a certain amount of butchery to the wiring for the cruise control etc. Does anyone have any tips for the removal and fitting?

My series 1 zed heater doesnt want to blow cold, i've replaced the pod, the sensors under drivers footwell + removed centre console. The flap in the middle opens up under 20 odd degrees + is fully open at 10'c. Never blows cold, it has been lukewarm on 40'c though. I have spent an hr searching+ cant get where the heater doors + mixer valve thingy (technical term) is :mac1:

hi guys i need some advice as ive just fitted a pair of blow off valves on the throttle bodies the car has now devloped a hunting at idle when the engine is hot could anyone please help in this matter many thanks :bow:

can any one please tell me that when i go over 65mph there is a pinging noise like a door is open and the lights are left on as soon as i go under 65mph it goes. i have no lights telling me any doors are open and everythimg is locked. the sound sounds like it is comming from the back. :(

Has anyone got the metal road off their car at the moment that they could take a photo of please? I've just spent the afternoon manufacturing one only to find the window now won't go down so it must be a specific shape :rant: The technical manual isn't that helpful, if you could pop it by a ruler it'd be even more help to get the right size At least if i know the shape i can make it up tomorrow and sort it out. Bloody crappy car cover from halfrauds has just ripped again in teh wind, but this time its seriously scratched teh front wing. why cant people make things that are fit for ****ing purpose. Stop making cheap shit.
