For some reason my red "lights" light flashed occasionally when I press the brake, not all the time only occasionally. I did have a rear break light out and it came on all the time, I stuck a new bulb in it and the lights are all working. For some reason though now, the lights light comes on every now and again? I have checked the lights and they all work, even checked it when the light comes on and they are fine? Any thoughts?

Right, typical im due to set of in 9 hours to head south for jap fest, thought i would make a weekend of it. So i went to fuel the Zed and on leaving the drive i heard a bit of a creak. Nothing too unusual and it did do it once or twice the other day. Now i thought at the time and at first it was one of the targas moving a bit so i pulled over after a mile or so and refitted them. However the creak didnt go away so i went into town, filled her up and pulled out of the petrol station and thought i better investigate so i headed home and pulled up into the front of the garage to have a look. I cant see anything amis but when ever the left hand side spring is …

How hard is this to do with the engine in? I know the sump has some tricky bolts to undo but is there anything else? The oil pressure is to low, I think the cause is bearings but thought I would try this as a long shot. (I know it's not the sender as is has been changed and have an aftermarket gauge)

Well I'm hoping this is a teething problem rather than the worst case senario. As you know I'm currently running the car in after an upgraded engine build. I drove the car for about 2 - 3 miles at low speed probably 40 mph max when I noticed the car was starting to overheat (i.e. 3/4 on the temp gauge). So I pulled into Tesco car park to investigate. I suspected an air lock as the fan was still running. I put the heater on max and it was coming out very hot so I left it on to take some heat out of the engine. I monitored the temp gauge and it started to drop a little so I thought it would be ok to turn the engine off and let it cool before checking the water lev…

Insurance last year was a pain in the butt. First time owner of a performance car. Ended up going with C.N. with a really good policy, fairly pleased back then. Cue this morning I get the renewal letter - I was hoping a little bit of discount as i'd now have 3yrs no claims, so just pay em and it's sorted for another year. But NO! They no longer use Royal Sun Alliance as an underwriter so the next best they can offer me comes out at £1558. That's £532 more than last year. Excess shoots from £100 to £350, no breakdown cover or Europe cover. Phoned em up and they can take the £58 off. What a bum deal. So the hunt is on now to burn a hole in my wallet somewher…

Just ordered a set...should be here for Japfest! I know a few people on here rate them, but just wondering who's got them. Do the contours fit exactly? Is the quality top-notch? I ordered black with grey outters and a heel plate on the driver's side.

Hi guys, following my problems yesterday which I attributed to a knakd starter it appears my problem is actually a hydro (hydra? - surely hydro would be water? - never mind!) lock in one cylinder. The general view seems to be either a stuck open injector or more likely a pinched lower injector o-ring. I have recently upgraded the injectors so I guess the O-ring would be the place to start. Any observations or other possibilities? Cheers RobH

Im asking you fellow zedders if you know how easy it is to take the interior panels off the inside of the targa tops. Mine have got water damaged from having the car sitting in the rain for a year. Its the small panel on the top itself. The one with the catch on. Just that its bugging me because the material on them have shrunk and bubbled. cheers:bow:

I know they have a few fans on the forum, but the SS lip alway gets scuffed and traditional alloy wheel refurbers are not interested!!! Have dug out someone who refurbs these and for £30 a wheel, he also does traditional alloys as well and is based in Bexhill on Sea. Surface Solutions 01424 893 330
