Just got my Z back from the bodyshop, Looked a good job when I looked at it there. went to the petrol station and started filling up, and I noticed a scratch on the side of the car. Went home and had a closer look and it looks like they have replaced the side indicator, looks very similar but has writing in the middle.

Didn't we have a sticky somewhere with insurers and numbers etc ? I can't seem to find it anywhere. Done a search and found that carol nash and adrian flux along with sky seem to be the most popular. Anyone got these numbers or any referances I can use ?.

Hi all It's a while since I've been on here as I sold the 300 to another member (I hope all is well with it). VERY tempted to buy another as really miss it ! I realise this should probably be on the 'for sale' section but actually I dont want any money for them So: Set of j-spec alloys with good Yokohama tyres BBS split rim alloys two 18x10 and two 18x9 (actually off my 350Z but I'm guessing they would fit a 300ZX). Wheels need a refurb and tyres no good Free to anyone who wants them - located in Surbiton, Surrey. Email: markyb300@hotmail.com Tel: 07715 995402 Thanks Mark

I have 11" rims fitted to the rear of my Zed and they protrude just outside the wheel arch meaning that they spray rubbish around the rear end all the time. I am considering having my rear arches rolled but would welcome your comments on getting this done. If you have had it done, some pics would be be appreciated, and also whether you are happy with the result. Does anyone know of an 'arch roller' in the South West.

Hey there Folks!! Got a question; I been having some problemos with my Z after a few weeks sitting on the garage with the alarm on 12v, eachtime I go and try to start the battery has gone dead; I have tested if there was some kind of consuming problem somwhere and it seems like everything is perfect.they have told me the problem is the alarm is consuming too much..and sitting there without driving it for weeks... I normally try to start the engine and leave it running for about 25 minutes one day yes one day not..but seems like this doesn´t help..after severeal week without driving it... so some Z owners have told me why not change the baterry into a higher ca…

I am probably going to get slated for buying this, but here goes. I just bought this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=330233396106&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=014 I want to see if it will make much difference and i know that i will get the usual comments;) but after spending so much time fitting leds into any orifice available :x: ( on the car that is) i fancied a bit of fun. Now in all seriousness if it may not be suitable ie: fook up the engine, which after reading up about it, shouldnt do then i can always flog it to a chav saxo driver for twice the price :D What do you think? (holds breath)

My Zed`s an import . Until today I`ve had no problems with the electric folding mirrors , but now the nearside one is not folding ( the other one is ok ) . Both mirror glasses are adjusting remotely . Just wondering if there are separate fuses for the 4 functions (2 x 2 ) Of course I know it`s a very minor problem but if anyone else has had it , a bit of advice would be fine and dandy . C`mon , a broken engine is one thing , but this is serious :p

My clutch seemed to be squeaking a lot and i also noticed after driving a while sometimes the gearchange also got a little stiff. Went under the car and decided to spray up into where i thought a lever may have been just inside the bell housing right underneath where the slave cylinder sits and hay presto! Not only does the clutch no longer squeak when i put my foot on the pedal but it feels much easier to press and gears engage even better now!!!! Love finding things like that!

I need to identify the gearbox that I have, I don’t know if it an AN or TT manual box. Are there any identifying marks/ castings variations between the two? Is there a diameter defence on the bell housing, the one I have is supposed to be a TT but I have a bell housing from a NA and there are the same. Any help would be appreciated

Well, after a few brown trouser moments in the rain it was time for some new tyre's :nana2: Went for a full set as the fronts were badly worn on the inside, and after much searching decided decided to go with markzx's advice and get some S02's. They were expensive (but cheaper than T1-R's for some reason), but the difference is amazing, so much quieter on the motorway and the car actually feels more stable when cornering. Just shows how important tyre choice is! Attached a couple of pics for any one interested in big black rubber things :D

went out today in my convertable (NA import), went to town and back and all was good, parked up for 20 minutes and went out again and found my brakes dont work properly anymore. i'm farely sure they are stock, but theyve always been fairly good, much better than my uk tt even after it had bigger discs. i usume this is because it is a newer car (95) the brakes still do something, they still slow the car somewhat but nowhere near a safe amount. it feels like i've lost the power assistance. similar to switching the engine off whilst moving and trying to stop any ideas why it might do this? where do i look first ? a fuse? a pipe?
