Right. Frist off apologies if this is a FAQ, i did look and not see. i had 'a bit of a ding' in my uk, '94 plate, auto, tt, 4 seater, targa top the other day and i was wondering what other models i can pinch parts from (imports, age, etc, etc.) thanks for all, eagerly anticipated, advice. Jamie.

Can I make a passenger side electric seat out of a drivers side electric seat or do I need different controls and fittings etc. ? CheerZ Paul

I just want to say a big thanks to Andy Duff and Sarah, Andy has had my car for a couple of weeks doing the major cambelt service, spark plugs and some gauges for me, it runs a hell of a lot smoother and the nasty rattle has gone from 1 of the tensioners, i class them both as really good friends and i hope to see more of them in the coming future, cheers Andy and Sarah:bow: have a few :duffer: for me ;)

at about 2pm today.. saw a white zed heading into Pompey on the M275 (where the royal navy is) .... I was going the other way, I did flash and wave like a nut case... but you were busy yacking to your passenger :slap:

Fitted it over two days last week. Total pain to remove the old exhaust which was the original Nissan system (13 years old!!!). Had no joy using a blowtorch - ended up having to drill out every stud :( BUT it all fits 100% spot on. Sounded a bit boomy when I first tested it out but has settled in nicely now. Loud but nicely loud. Also managed to solve the most annoying rattle too. With the new exhaust at around 1800rpm it made the rattle mega noisy. Managed to trace it back to a biro pen lodged under the passenger seat. Unbelievable!

What can i say. There i was in the sun after a day out in london with my wife and family then BANG!!! I got shunted from behind at a pedestrian crossing. Thing was it was my wife sister and husband who did it!!:cry: The damage is quite bad. Dented my rear bumper which isnt the problem but it also damaged and bent the panel between the bumper and lights pushing it up and causing the rear hatch to lift. I cant get it open and now i have approx 8 mm gap on either side. Ive only had it on the road 5 months from the new engine i had put in FFS. I have never had this happen before. I was wondering if and how the insurance would work on a case like this. There is no disp…

Twas a J reg with big wheels (looked like multispokes but not sure as you were driving) and i think it had enzo rear lights from the quick glimpse i caught of the rear end... this was on the dual carriageway near tescos...

Does any1 have a pair of front brake discs... or even all 4 discs, but primarily the fronts that are known not to be unevenly worn or warped etc that i could possibly borrow for some fault finding? Ideally you would be going to Z008 so i can grab them off you then? cheerZ in advance :D

Oh well, at least I have an excuse for losing further testing tomorrow!

Anyone got any idea of how much these are worth second hand? Im toying with the idea of fitting a Greddy FMIC but to do that, i'd need to sell / remove my ARC box!

... doing some much needed jobs! Got to love long weekends! Resoldered the speedo so it now stops dropping out. Welded my seat due to me being a bit of a large fella! Fitted a Smithys Fuel line kit Found loads of bits missing that I need to get replaced as well Also Converted my 2+2 into a 2+0 Tomorrow I need to fit some new Rad hoses and have a general tidy up! It never ends!

Going from Redcar towards Middlesbrough around 2 o'clock-ish today.

When locking/unlocking the drivers door with either the key or alarm remote the drivers door un/locks but the passenger door doesn't. I've checked the fuse in the footwell but thats ok. Any ideas or common faults before i have to remove the door cards?

Hi guys,thought i would service my engine today on the Z and after changing everything,plugs,oil,filters etc i only had the the air filters to do and came across a problem,after unclipping the 4 clips i noticed that the remaining screws that need taken out were severly rusted and stuck in,further more the screw heads were badly worn to a point where the screw driver wont remove them:headvswal Has anybody here had the same or similar problem and is there any easy way to remove the air box now as i think i will need a new one when i get this one out Thanks

Hi, done a search and found nothing to really help. New 555 injectors, Apexi, new plugs (standard gap????????) JD chip, running 0.9 bar via a boost controller I have just fitted. Even when I was running standard boost it would sometimes miss fire when I first punched it, genererally it then was fine after the first two or three full throttle runs. If I raise the revs gently it is often OK, it is in the bottom 2/3 of the rev range it gets upset. It is also not always there. Still running cats but have free flowing single exit pipe. Driven gently to medium speed its OK. Dont think its boost leak as it not always there. CAr also seems to use…

Hey all, well just picked up my car :hyper: when i turned on my stereo no sounds coming from speakers :confused: so pulled over looked under the bonnet and noticed that the main power lead for my amp hadn't been reconnected to the battery!:nono: So, without thinking reconnected it :slap:..... heard the stereo fire up Very loud and then nothing... Now i have no power to the stereo, the clock or the electric mirrors :headvswal I've checked all the fuses in the foot well and they all seem to fine :confused: Any ideas???

Just cleaned the Z ready for billing next week so it better not rain!!

Hi peeps, Just got back from hols in Vegas. After driving a crappy rental down roads with no corners and roundabouts, I couldn't wait to get behind the wheel of my Zed again and experience some real driving. 1. Car wouldn't start. Flat battery. Jumped it with another car, but it turned over with the fuel injector relay removed. Wouldn't start with it in.....how strange. All ok on that front, but strange nevertheless. 2.
