Theres lots of setup info for the greddy boost controllers but not much for the blitz. I have an SBC-I Colour boost controller and starting to ask around about settings and getting conflicting opinions. It has 4 pre-sets and an off and i'm just using one of the settings. I'm boosting a steady 0.86 bar with my SET at 47 and GAIN at 25. Is this incorrect GAIN? The way i understood it was you set the SET at increments of 10 until you reach the desired boost and then set the GAIN at increments of 5 untill you start getting spikes, then fine tune them both so its smooth? see here http://www.splparts.com/doc/SBC-iD.htm Silver Bullet pm'd me his settings ye…

Hello, recently had the gearbox out. now has high emissions (failed MOT) and can be quite hard to start. was OK before this. Any suggestions as to where to start fixing? diag appears to have no faults. i was thinking, would a dodgy O2 sensor cause this? Perhaps temperature sensor reporting the car is permanently hot/cold? thanks.

Hi all, a quick question on the lights on my '92 imprt zed(modded). Its just failed its mot on the lights(rear fogs and side lights). Thats it fortunately! The question is: on a zed, which are the sidelights, which are the mains? It's possible my light units aren't standard, but I've got one small round light and one larger sqaure one. If I put the lights on sidelights, nothing happens, If i put them on "normal" lights, the small round ones come on an d if i go full beam(on the stalk), the big sqaure ones come on and the round ones go out. Its basically confusing the **** out of me! any help would be greatly appreciated  Tony

Well Jeff lent me some alloys whilst mine were being refurbed..... got them back and gave him back his. Yesterday had to do a trip Aylesbury to Swansea and back. Got just past Bridgewater on the way down a had a blowout doing about 95 - 100.... Completely wrecked the wheel. Had to put the pram wheel on (Thanks RAC man) and had to stay at 50 mph the rest of the way down. Phoned up Zedworld and asked if they still had the spare alloys. Yes they said, we can courier them to your work for you. So drove all the way back at 50 like a rolling hazard on the M4 and made it back. Into work this morning and at midday two alloys turn up for me Thanks again Zedworl…

This may be a silly question. Took my SWB Z to a garage for new bridgestones all round. After taking all the wheels off they told me that one of the rods was bent underneath the car throwing out my tracking but not to worry since they had straightened it. new wheels back on - only issue was they could not fit the (cosmetic) centre cap on the rear wheel of my super advans for some reason. Anyway I drove off - no problems till hitting 60 mph when i am now getting juddering through the steering wheel. The car is sitting out on the drive - Im obviuously keen to take it back but am nervous about driving it there - what the f*ck have they done> any ideas c…

[/b] Maybe ! On engine start (car will rise to set height) ? On engine shut down (lower to set height) and have a manual overide set up inside the car ? For Ex: when approaching a shitty driveway or speedhump , you can lift the car at front or rear to gain entry to driveway etc ! I dont mean air bags (for slamming it to ground) more so air-struts ??? I found this set-up supposedly for a Z ! [/img]

Hi all, put my box back on yesterday, all seemed to be ok, went on relatively easy. Come to fit starter motor, clutch slave cylinder etc today and noticed that the clutch operating arm (not sure what the technical term is) was at a bit of an odd angle - it appears slightly twisted. Not sure how this can happen if the shafts are all lined up correctly and the gearbox is straight (I'm pretty sure it is). There is no play at all in the clutch arm when the box is tightened up - is this correct? Advice appreciated. This is doing my nut in!! Cheers RobH
