With my Profec B Spec II in "OFF" the MAX boost it displays is near 10PSI  (well 9.9PSI to be exact) I understood that with the EBC OFF, MAX boost equates to saftey boost of 7PSI but not saftey "Mode" so the fuel and timing maps stay normal. What could cause this, is it possible I have bigger than stock tubs  CheerZ Paul

I have up graded my front door speakers, my boot speakers and have a couple of subs in the boot. Theres hardly any sound coming from the door speakers, is that just cause the rears are amp'd ? Have you guys put in an amp for the front door speakers? I'm currently just offsetting the speakers a bit but it doesn't sound right.

omg My car's been in safety mode since i bought it (un-known to me at the time) and i just spent the day fitting a blitz sbc-i colour boost controller. Took it for a very carefull test drive and   ITS ****ING AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had the nose panel off and the targas off. Its a boost monster !!! the BOV's are bloody loud!! Its like having a new car, you actually have a rush of acceleration on boost. Never had it at 7 psi and im only pushing it to 11 psi now! All the money spent, repairs that have been done hours spent working on problems with it don't mean shit now!, i couldn't care less that its still high i…

Went to gunwharf quay, portsmouth, today, parked in carpark, after shopping parked right next to ticket machines on level U5, very clean grey one, my black UK was parked just 3 rows away. Has 300zx.co.uk stickers on, Waited around but had to pay the ticket as it was upto £6. I recognise the car from here, who are you.

Hi guys. Finally got around to refitting my gearbox, never done this before and could do with a little advice...apologies in advance if this sounds a bit dense. At what point is the box considered to be correctly aligned/fitted to the engine? I get a sort of clunk sound when I push the box against the engine but there's still a gap of a around 1cm all the way around (between bellhousing and engine) - surely things can't still be misaligned with such a small gap?? Do I just start adding bolts now or is a little more finesse required first? Any advice appreciated - this is starting to drive me nuts and beginning to hurt! Cheers H!

Guys, as you may know if you met me i'm not exactly the smallest person in the world (6'5") and i was wondering if anyone had found somewhere to get seriously low profile seat runners that would fit a zed? If i could get the seat down to almost floor level it's be great so maybe an inch/1.5 inches heigh, the lighter the weight the better Any ideas? Additionally i found these: https://www.europaspares.com/SEATS/SEAT_MOUNTS/UNIVERSAL_SEAT_RUNNERS___RICH_SSR__2276.html https://www.europaspares.com/SEATS/SEAT_MOUNTS/UNIVERSAL_SEAT_RUNNERS___WITH_LINK_BAR___COB_SSR__2274.html but obviously with that chassis bar running along the front of the seat nei…

What is the best system for performance? dual rear boxes or a single? Escorty racing are now making a titanium system which is a dual exit. I'm assuming being a dual it will sound totally different, flame and pop more. lighter epsecially being titanium. Can it handle as much power? what would be best for performance? it has a 3" pipe from where it joins the two pipes into to the rear box. Will this be suitable for modded big hp 300's?? I'm after that something different which this could be.

All credit for this goes to Gazza on Aus300ZX.com/ I tried the fix and can vouch for the diffrence it makes. The full post can be found here. As a lot of us know, the seatbelts in the zed can stop retracting properly with the result of the latch plate getting caught in the door and causing damage. Ive found that this is not just a problem with the 300ZX but most Nissan cars and there is a repair kit available from Nissan. The problem is with the D ring (the top seatbelt guide) providing too much friction, either from dirt accumulation or the material itself so Nissan in their wisdom have produced a kit with fluorine tape stickers that reduce the fricti…
