Lots of nice Z pics on the site. How about a ' looks like shit,does lots of odd things, makes some weird noises, handles a bit odd but gets me from A-Z o.k.' thread. Cars must be MOT,d and used on a regular basis. I'll start,pics tomorrow if anyones interested, dented front wings rusty rear arches paintwork crap filthy engine bay interior bits missing brake dust ingrained wheels no heater iffy handbrake cable big clunks as gears are engaged autobox with a mind of it's own not been washed far less polished for last umpteen years. still goes great, used daily Well anyone else?

anyone no how easy it is to take zed steering wheel off?

my wiper and air con pod has decided to stop working:cry:it had been playing up for about a month only working every now and again.now its packed in all together.i bought a second hand pod but its still not working.any help would be great.:bow:

I had a rear puncture a few weeks ago, before the tan hill meet, and now the car has started to sort of wander across the road as if being blown around. I did have to drive a fair way on the flat before I could find a safe place to stop. Any ideas what this is likely to be? Could be a bush or is it more likely to be a rod end. HICAS still opererating so is it likely to be one of those. Darrell

hi ive just joined today ive got my new toy the over day 300zx tt manual were is the fuse to the central locking i cannot find it help please hopefully someone will advice me thanks paul

got it on full power now i think no codes up on ecu but now its smoking its nuts off anyone can have a look at it for me and see what you think:bow::bow:

my car just dripped about a cup and a half of water out from the engine, im hoping it werent from the pump, worse case scenerio can the pump be changed without removing the cambelt, it done this before and never did it again, i had ust been giving it a thrashing to have a look at my smoke carry on hoping its just a one off

when i accelerate hard in my car, i get a big plume of black smoke, it only does it if i have been driving round the town then give it some on an open road, also getting a lot of black soot on the rear of my car doesnt seem to be any opil in the soot, its just black also getting a strong sooty smell in my car, cant have windows down otherwise i fell like im choking lol any ideas, gonna be plugging a consult in this week to see if it shows anything up

I'm overhauling the front calipers but need to replace some of the pistons and want to make sure I source the right ones. Can anyone tell me whether the pistons are the same for the alloy and cast iron calipers. My car is a 91 but somebody has fitted the later cast calpiers.

im us about to de-kat my z32 tt and just seen the rear kat sensors are they needed or not and if so where do i put them also what do they do thanks for all your help stuart

Well, yet again my Zed didn't let me down and passed it's MOT. That is now four years in a row !! :dance::dance:... and again not even a hint of an advisory notice ! :D Should I be informing the Guinness Book of Records - or can someone beat my score ? :cool:;)

Any i am looking for a cost to replace the rear brakes on there site £727+ vat surly must be cheaper else where!

I have a 1991 UK auto twinturbo. I have notice that when I start my car and put it into D position it seems to be jerking. When I put it into Neutral, or Park it seems to be ok. Anyone have any ideas what it might be causing this? It seems to drive ok, the jerking is noticeable when I stop at the lights.

When i was cutting up my old z through the week i found a half circle shaped box with a Clarion sticker on it in the boot area. Anybody have any ideas what it is? I've checked my manual and the only thing i can see from that area is the aerial timer????

I was going to use my turbocharger oil cooler from my old uk car for my AT cooler but i've noticed my jap spec turbo oil cooler is half the size of the uk one. Should i just swap the turbo coolers over and invest in a new oil cooler for the AT?

Hi guys, have wired in my avcr but am unsure of where to fit the tubing to the wastegates can someone post up a pic maybe of where to tee into the pipe work, i did do a search and found a fitting guide for a 300zx but it wasnt clear about what pipes to tee into :o any help much appreceated thanks guys

I have had my guage installed now for about 8 months and its caused no problems at all, however just recently it seems to take a lot longer for it to register a temperature... It used to start moving at the exact point the standard one started to move, and they would both rise to normal operating temperature at the same time, now the aftermarket one seems to be behind the standard one... What could be causing this? Cheers guys

as it says in the title saw you and heard you comming towards i was in the red and black 300, gave ya a flash of the lights and ya looked at me like i was a nutcase :D your not far wrong :D anyone from here?

Hi All Just brought me a DVD Player with optional GPS input, just wandering where i get the gps system from ive seen a couple on the internet its like a black box with an aerial and removeable sd card for the maps? I also think people use this system when they build Carputers. Regards Andy
