Ok it's been 3 years and I can't remember how to work this dam alarm. I've managed to get it out of vallet mode which it entered due to smart start. Installed the bonnet switch today as it kept chirping 4 times at me. Now I remember the * button used to remote start the engine, however I also know that in order for that to work on my manual you had to press something or a combination before you turned the engine off. It would then keep the engine running like a turbo timer until you locked the doors then it would switch off and could be remote started by just pressing the * buttom on the key fob. Anyone else got remote start fitted and know what the se…

I got a conversion kit from Dave C, and I’m going to fit tomorrow, but the clutch looks a bit small compared to the flywheel...! If it is a N/A clutch can I use it with my TT or do I need a TT clutch kit, also is the starter the same from an auto to manual N/A or TT as the only one I have is the auto one. Any help would most appreciated.

UPDATED 14TH MAY 2008: SEE BOTTOM POST I've been looking back how long it's taken me to get my wheels restored and i found my first post up on the 1st of may 2006! They started off like this soaked in dirt and diesel with one completely bent back on itself (before and after cleaning): The bent one: 160 rusted & seized bolts and 2 days later... And the following January I gave up trying to polish the rims myself and sent them to Paul Sankey in Burton which took a day and £80: And finally 17 months later i've got my arse into gear and he's polished the centers for me as well and worth every penny it…

Just got my Z back from the bodyshop, Looked a good job when I looked at it there. went to the petrol station and started filling up, and I noticed a scratch on the side of the car. Went home and had a closer look and it looks like they have replaced the side indicator, looks very similar but has writing in the middle.

Didn't we have a sticky somewhere with insurers and numbers etc ? I can't seem to find it anywhere. Done a search and found that carol nash and adrian flux along with sky seem to be the most popular. Anyone got these numbers or any referances I can use ?.

Hi all It's a while since I've been on here as I sold the 300 to another member (I hope all is well with it). VERY tempted to buy another as really miss it ! I realise this should probably be on the 'for sale' section but actually I dont want any money for them So: Set of j-spec alloys with good Yokohama tyres BBS split rim alloys two 18x10 and two 18x9 (actually off my 350Z but I'm guessing they would fit a 300ZX). Wheels need a refurb and tyres no good Free to anyone who wants them - located in Surbiton, Surrey. Email: markyb300@hotmail.com Tel: 07715 995402 Thanks Mark

I have 11" rims fitted to the rear of my Zed and they protrude just outside the wheel arch meaning that they spray rubbish around the rear end all the time. I am considering having my rear arches rolled but would welcome your comments on getting this done. If you have had it done, some pics would be be appreciated, and also whether you are happy with the result. Does anyone know of an 'arch roller' in the South West.

Hey there Folks!! Got a question; I been having some problemos with my Z after a few weeks sitting on the garage with the alarm on 12v, eachtime I go and try to start the battery has gone dead; I have tested if there was some kind of consuming problem somwhere and it seems like everything is perfect.they have told me the problem is the alarm is consuming too much..and sitting there without driving it for weeks... I normally try to start the engine and leave it running for about 25 minutes one day yes one day not..but seems like this doesn´t help..after severeal week without driving it... so some Z owners have told me why not change the baterry into a higher ca…
