Is there a guide as to how to go about cleaning all the sensors and where to find them/methods of doing it/etc (MAF/Temp/etc...) Also, is there a guide to cleaning out the rad/replenishing fluids? Just little things (i think) that I feel I should start doing while not driving much but not sure where to begin. I know basics of engines but trying to learn more about the Zed.... Cheers

Firstly. I have taken the rear spoiler off (standard) and have been confronted with 2 sodding great recesses on either side of the lock mechanism as well as a hole througth into the boot at the centre and a gap in the rubber seal on boot lid, again in the centre where the lock is. 1. Is there a pannel i can buy to fix this or do i have to make one 2. if so where can i get one from. Secondly. I had an off the other day with NO impact damage to anything near the engine bay however the car has started to missfire very badly under any moderate power. Its an auto TT and when you stamp on the 'go' peddal it drops a gear, upps the revvs to about 6.5k rpm (just be…

I never really wanted to mention this (cus I’m fooking skint and wedding only a few month’s away) but touching wood isn’t helping much :nelson: Right, to start, I get a little smoke on start up in the morning so I’m gussing valve stem seals  I also get smoke out of the offside (and very occasionally the nearside) Zorst at idle but the PCV’s and pipes are reasonably new (CheerZ Duffers;)) I also get a very slight knock at start up from cold from the bottom end just before the oil pressure builds up. So I’m thinking, heads off, new valve stem seals, tubs refurbished and possibly new big end bearings. So my question is, can all this be don…

Now i am no expert but, My Z is no track car and dosnt get thrashed regularly, however, i do tend to have little outbursts in my car where i will drive it hard maybe for about 5 or 10 minutes at the most. So my question is, (specific to the way i drive my car) drilled and grooved discs have a smaller surface area for the pad and so brakeing distances are increased (with cold discs)...? Therefore, i would be better of with solid discs as they wont have time to get hot enough for me to need the benefits of drilled/grooved discs, correct?

Z-TECH is 168 miles from where I live and Zedworld is 260 odd miles away. Zedworld has done the previouse mods on the car before I bought it and done an ecu remap at 14 psi on stock turbo's, I emailed them and they said I was well safe at that boost, I then phoned Z-tech and they told me that it was to much boost and would probably need reconditioned turbo's, using 360 bearings, had the quote, between £1800 and £2000, i'm waiting for a reply from Zedworld as I want a quote from them too. Hopefully the dealer is going to contribute to the repair work that needs to be carried out ( I hope ), I dont think I would trust any mechanics around by me.:(

Just had a brainwave! I just bought another set of El dials, as the boost gauge one on mine has broken. They are ok but dont match my 52mm gauges as i got them to match! With the new set (reverse ones origanially from group buy) I got 2 speedos, one for na and one for tt. The dial thats dead on mine is the boost gauge dial. Has anyone got the spare na speedo dial from this set below (silver)? If you have I WANT it! I will use it and it will just cover the stock boost gauge. I don't really need the stock boost gauge anyway as I have an ebc and 52mm boost guage as well. Ps mods dont move this as no one looks in the wated section lol

Also does anyone know the paint code for jap pearl white or where i could get it from? Our idiot neighbours keep reversing into our car. 3-4 times in the last month now ! Cheers all.

For some reason my red "lights" light flashed occasionally when I press the brake, not all the time only occasionally. I did have a rear break light out and it came on all the time, I stuck a new bulb in it and the lights are all working. For some reason though now, the lights light comes on every now and again? I have checked the lights and they all work, even checked it when the light comes on and they are fine? Any thoughts?

Right, typical im due to set of in 9 hours to head south for jap fest, thought i would make a weekend of it. So i went to fuel the Zed and on leaving the drive i heard a bit of a creak. Nothing too unusual and it did do it once or twice the other day. Now i thought at the time and at first it was one of the targas moving a bit so i pulled over after a mile or so and refitted them. However the creak didnt go away so i went into town, filled her up and pulled out of the petrol station and thought i better investigate so i headed home and pulled up into the front of the garage to have a look. I cant see anything amis but when ever the left hand side spring is …
