Just interested to know how much people are paying to insure their zed and their second car if they have one?

Hi guys just sorting out a few probs with the motor. Ive already searched on here but couldnt really find anything. My speedo is a bit tempremental as in it hardly ever works so i dont know how fast im going! lol. Every other dial works (rev counter, odometer still puts the kph on. etc) Just my speedo never does! How can i fix this? Thanks all.

Have you bought a 'cheap' ebay type oil sandwich plate and were the results ok? I personally bought a 25 quid ebay jobbie and the unoin supplied was too chunky to allow the seals to properly seat on the filter housing... it pissed my nice nice 5 litres of silkolene all over jimmers workshop floor :( !!

nice little road kill, on the way home there was a brand new morgan in front of me driving all racerish on the single carriage "A" road from st erth to penzance, doing the old swerving from left to right thing to keep his tyres warm as the car in front was too slow for him, I knew when he got to the roundabout and got onto the dual carriageway he was gonna nail it , he did, so did I , off the roundabout onto the dual carriageway I went past ,nailing it up the road, after about 7 secs he just gave up as I was pulling away too rapidly for him to even compete, best thing was he was solo in his and the missus was sat in mine grabbing on for dear life:rofl:, nice heavy Z with …

I am looking at buying a Z and have seen one for sale. I know its hard to judge from a photo but on the picture of it the panel in between the headlights looks like it is slightly higher than the bumper at the front edge, where it normally rests just below from what I've seen (this will be my first 300). The top edge looks level with the bonnet. Is that a sign of an accident or can it be adjusted. The panels all look fine apart from that. I'm having to travel 200 miles to see the car.

i can flat the car, do quick change gear and fine, in first second (& 3rd think) but if im changing gear quick and nail the accelarator, the clutch rides. if i dont drive it so hard, and take my time changing gear/accelarating, its fine. Does this need adjusting? or is it just on its way out?

Sgt C/Lee7s' old wide arch shortie. Looking very good and the new rear lights make it look so much better! Anyone know who owns it now?

I've just been told that the cats can be hit out of their housings thus doing a very cheap de-cat ! Seems dodgy to me ? Anybody know the truth ? Maz.:confused:

Hi all, My engine is nearly complete ;) Ive been wondering what sort of power i will achieve, Ive had a few guesses from a few mates with modded cars but none of them are Zeds. Just tested a different MAF/AFM.. Started fine, let it warm up, revved fine.. Thought I would put some boost through it, the BOV'S blow of twice.. Then the engine just dies, engine warning light came on.. Now won't re-start.. Tried the original AFM back in.. Still won't start :rolleyes: When fitting a different AFM, does the battery need to be disconnected to reset the ECU? Any help/advice greatly appreciated. Thanks :(

Whats the best oil and grade for my z32 tt any help would be great, there are so many different makes all claiming to give the best protection but which is the best for me, cheers.

as above, i have a big carbon wing on my s14, and am thinking i might put it on my zed, anyone already have one on, im not sure it will suit the zeds lines or not. this is the wing: Cheers

On the A21 north farm roundabout going towards hastings,both covered in stickers. friday 11th about 5.15 i was going in the other direction in my red zed

had 60mm GReddy gauges from my last car, wanted put em in the Z. had to cut a bit of the plastic behind/inside the dash part for it to fit, and angle grind/file bit of the silver plastic. made a cardboard template, sent to this guy, made from 2ml aluminum. (holes cut 61mm for gauges to fit. 52ml gauges would be easier, but i prefer the 60ml ones, bigger the better lol. havent wired em up yet, but they light up green like this... what you think?
