who had or have nitrous on tt zed?please share the expirience:slap:

:dance:hi,thinking to put nitrous on my zed tt,have coldfusion second hand unit,not sure what sort of hp jets to place,,,as theres 2 inlet manifolds,and if i want 100 hp.then i need to put 50 hp jets in each manifold so it makes 100 in total????or??

Can anybody explained the benefits of weight loss versus BHP increases or vice versa? The context being, that I want to make my slicktop faster and more powerful but definitely without sacrificing the creature comforts. In fact I plan to add some weight with the ICE system and soundproofing that I am lining up. Is there a rough guide of say - 50kg (for all of you still on the old imperial system :tongue: ) of weight loss would be equal to an approximate x amount of BHP increase. I do realise an equation like that wouldn't be that simple as there would be other factors etc.. but just as a guide. Cheers

Can anyone tell me the dimensions of the Z32 TT manual box ? Im looking for the length from the centre line of the shifter position, to the end of the box MINUS the bellhousing. reason being i mite be getting an R33 skyline box for free, and was thinking about converting my car to manual using that box, but need to know if it will fit first :)

can anyone tell me what my auto tt should boost too, it goes to 11 psi on the guage ? Is this right ??

Fitted my dvd player today, cant seem to fit the surround around it as there aint enough room. has anyone had this problem, do I just get the dremmel out? Also when I connect the ipod I can only scroll through it, 1 to 7234. can I update the dvd player with new software??

Noticed while looking at Zeds that some have single exit and others have twin, was wondering if it was purely aesthetically, or is there a reason? For me twin's look much nicer, fit the profile of the car etc (whereas for eg a supra would look silly with twin exit pipes, and I dont think Ive ever come across one), is there a practical reason people choose to get rid of twins and stick a single exit pipe on?? :hyper:

Hello all! Merry xmas and all that!! I have a uk TT and I am wondering is there a fuse for the door locks? mine have stopped working and I dont have a door key just the key fob for the alarm which opens the doors! if there is no fuse any ideas why it stopped working?? cheers!

Ive got a petrol leak from a small rubber pipe which runs under the plenum, its leaking at the joint closest to the passenger side throttle body and doesnt have a hose clamp on, i cannot get to it. with any kind of tool! Any info on how to remove the throttle bodies and or plenum?

what preasure to set up on fuel preasure regulator? at present running on 1 bar boost,stage 3 chip,decat pipes,light flywheel,free airflow... thanks

Got bored today, so decided to teach myself how to use Windows Movie Maker. It's actually quite easy to use. I got a load of my Z crap together and some film of the car that I made today (yes, the roads were clear enough to take the Z out for a bit....bliss!). Added all of it together with some effects, added a spacey bit of music and Bob's yer Uncle! I enjoyed making it. Just wish I had some more and better quality video. I'm not that good on computers, but it came out ok. I'll make a better one someday, but it looks ok for a very amature thing.

can hear it whilst driving too, it sounds like the central locking every 3 - 5 seconds it makes a clicking noise like the central locking is doing somthing (its not) also when im staitionary and the engine is idling it makes the lights dim when it clicks so its sucking power, iv checked the battary and its perfect looks new to its reading 14.70v anyone got any idea what it is thats making the noise iv taken the door card off but i cant locate the noise?

Ok, my current situation is that i have a mapped ecu, standard new tubs, forged rods and pistons and AVCR bc. Problem is the stock boost restrictor (not the solenoid, the actual mig tip insdie the pipe) was taken out of the passenger side, but left in the drivers side. What effect would this have when trying to reach 15psi or 1 bar boost? Would the passenger side compensate? is it even a problem that its still in there? Can the pipe be accessed from under the carwithout removing any components?

Does anybody have any of the above that i can borrow located around manchester? Just a wild stab in dark here :hyper:

i have 300tt manual,and just fitted new cerametallic clutch,light flywheel,de cat pipes,fuel preasure regulator,stage 3 chip,free airflow and manual boost controller...,,went on motorway,,,the highest boost is 1.6 bar thats more than twice from stock,,but know that not good for turbos,,i am using the car for drag racing and awaiting the season openning in santa pod on 18 january,but want to get it right,,so any advice on boost control whats the best bar to adjust and also the fuel preasure regulator...what must be the bars on running engine?

I wake up this morning, lovely sunny day in Sussex, going over to my folks this afternoon and the kids are coming to my mums at 3. So i had nothing to do. My neighbours must think im bonkers, i washed the zed, and hooverd the inside, so fook it nothing to do for a few hours. Im off for a drive. The roads are empty and dry, the music was tranquil (Motown classics) £50 of Shell's finest and a shot of injector cleaner, and hour later, the lady is spot on and hasnt missed a beat. Now the drinking starts, im onto my 3rd Stella and feeling great............ and if you ask! Yep im feeling merry. Stu
