Not been around for a while cos I've been mega busy so hi and a Merry Christmas to you all :) Now - does anyone know anywhere where I can get tyres fitted for a reasonable price around the Bedford area? I had a word at my local garage the other day and he was talking about £17 each... I thought that was a bit high and after reading another post that said to expect about a tenner each, I suppose I was right. Cheers!

Hope this isnt a repost.. This seems cheap: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/825363.htm Though I would be worried about a) lack of service history/MOTs and b) lack of pictures Thoughts?

I have done all the usual removals AIV, EGR, Black canister, Cruise, (ECU is still in the car though, any idea where it is I'll get rid of it), flywheel, suspension, wheels. AC is still in as is interior and standard seats. Is there anything else I can look at getting rid of? Targas? Bonnet? go carbon? plastic wings? rear hatch - can you get a plastic or carbon for a 2+2 spare wheel and tools? Cheers

Well seems that I am only hitting about 6psi on full throttle now. So looks like a visit to Zedworld in the new year. I think I may have a leak somewhere :( is there any really obvious places to check ?

There used to be five of us living within a 1 mile radius and then there was only me. Now there is a stock silver JDM TT parked in a side street just off Toms Town Lane in Studley, Warwickshire (around the corner from me). I haven't seen an owner but it has been there every day for the past two months now. Come on, fess up ... who is it? Dan

What a great thing to happen 2 days before christmas eh. It was parked out on the road in newcastle. It had a pretty dam tough disk lock on it so i think its physically been lifted and put in a van or something  Going to try the shop down the bottom of the street as he has cameras out side of it. There is also a dude half way down that has one looking out of his window at his car. might be able to track down a reg number for Vans big enough if any of them were on and work. Past that i don't really know what to do like:cry::cry::cry:

Hello guys, I currently have an old Power Flow Exhaust (2x4 outlet) and whilst it looks ok it is really boomy on long journeys and it is begining to get on my nerves, I want to replace the system and de cat as well ((1990) with newish tubs), but I wanted advice on what people would recomend I want a 2x4 pipe outlet, and whilst I don't mind it grumbling a little i really don't want a loud chavtastic Southend Nova system, on my old Integra Type R DC 5 I had a lovely buddy club one that was really nice an quiet, any ideas? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- The Story so Far My car has killed Three auto boxes, set…

Well I've got another question :D Had a auto to manual conversion done a few years back. When pulling the rad I come across these pipes attached to the rad, the other ends were just loose. Am I able to bin these and just block the holes on the rad some how or are they still needed? Hoping to get the rad from ash sorted soon so won't be needing this one but wanted to check anyway, just incase I have to put it back for any reason. Thanks, Ant

am going to change my front pads. running ferrodo 2500 at the mo, but the f**king squealing is doing my head in!! :x::x: thinking of either ebc red stuff or yellow stuff. have read the write ups for both pads, red seems ok, but i know the braking on a zed suffers from huge amounts of heat, so, the yellow option seems a winner, but does yellow squeal like the ferrodo 2500??? if it does then its a big no,no!!! is anyone running theses pads? all feedback welcomed. cheers people, al.

While removing bits ready to do the engine pull in the new year I decided to remove the Hicas. I have the elimination bar and will be doing this at a later date. I have the N/A PAS pot and N/A pump. I've managed to remove the TT pump and was looking at swapping the N/A pot. I guess with the N/A pot, as it only has the 2 pipes coming out unlike the TT pot that has 3, that you do a swap like for like with the pipes and remove the one that would of gone to the Hicas from the the TT pot? Where I've circled marked A, would this be the pipes going under the car to the Hicas? Can these be cut where I have circled and be removed when I fit the bar at a later date? …

Havnt used my zed for a couple of weeks, and yesterday decided to take it for a little drive. After about 6 miles of steady driving I stopped the car and was talking to a mate. After about 7 or 8 minutes I noticed the offside exhaust started to very lightly blow blue smoke out. I switched the engine off after that. Drove it home and let it idle at home to see if it did it again, however,it didnt. Whats caused it to do it in the first place? Are my turbos on their way out? Cheers guys, Dan

Just driving home and loads of traffic on a local dual carriageway near me, Blue lights all round, a highways lorry and a tow truck. Come along side a red 07 350Z, looks like driver lost it bigtime coming off roundabout and wrapped it passenger door into a large cement lampost. No pic, but i hope the driver is ok. Well and truly a write off, as it smashed the post down 45 degrees.

Afternoon, Now i've got the bits to do the suspension and brakes i think it's time to get a bit more out of the engine. I've already got the ECU upgrade, EBC and an Apexi filter so it seem that the only things to get me up to 14psi would be on the exhaust side. I was planning on getting some divorced downpipes and a Mongoose exhaust but i can't decide what to do about the cats. I've found some Hi-Flow cats on Z1 but was wondering if they're worth the money. I don't want to de-cat as the car's a 96 and it would mean sticking them back on once a year for the MOT and there's also the issue with the turbo seals. Does anyone know if Hi-Flow cats much better than the …
