A message from Diane/Emero: "Thank you for all your kind gifts, I've been working flat out and don't have internet access at home yet" Di needs a little bit of help with her car. She's asked me to post because of lack of time and internet access. Is there anyone local to Warwickshire who can help her fix her clutch? The pedal is going to the floor, chances are the master cylinder seals are gone. She will order a new seal kit tomorrow from MJP ready to fit. Now the catch, can anyone do this before December 26th? She has to go to Gatwick to pick up her daughter who flies in from India. Any suggesgions? Regards, Rob.

Well I have stripped off all the parts I wanted from my zed and this afternoon it was lifted onto the back of a truck and went to the scrap yard. Thought I would post some pics of the quality bodywork it had. Rear light, this had started to bubble through the paint work below the light, it is much worse inside. Rear arch Rust in the roof Even a hole in the front A pillar Loads more holes underneath in the sills, boot etc..

Last week whilst in sub zero temp, I decided to wax the old girl and plonk her in the gararge, however as it was reasonably dry I decided to go for a drive this weekend, well I have an oil leak it is coming from the passenger front wheel arch and oil is dripping down the cables behind the inner wheelarch plastic panel. After a drive it looked like I had been rally driving as oil had sprayed up the side of the passenger side, where the heck is it coming from, the only thing I can think of is that it is coming from the oil pressure or temp aftermarket pipes? Any ideas?

I read a lot of of threads on the site that suggest the Zed is a pretty unreliable car, but I have found this to be the case with most car Forums as people don't start threads like 'my car has no faults today'. Obviously they post threads to get help or give help. I have had my Zed for over 18 months now and it came with 2 faults which were fixed nice and easy. It had a major service just after I bought it, had it chipped & 1mm boost jets fitted. I would just like to say that it has been completely fault free since. Not a single issue (other than self induced problems caused by my tinkering). I know this might seem a silly thread starter, but I just thought…

on my way up the M1 today I noticed a menacing car catching me in my rear view mirror. I pulled over to see a grey Nissan GTR pass me. V** GTR I pulled in behind it and away we went. Now traffic was not the best so we were doing far less than motorway speeds. When the GTR got some clear motorway he floored it - I was suprised at my ability to keep up. Over the next 30 or so miles we came up behind porsches, TVR's and all manner of wannabe super cars, all of which were dispatched as if they were 1L metros. On arrival at our private test track the next round could begin. Clearly I had rattled the gtr a little since he couldn't pull away - (I don't mean that i…

My UK 1992 tt Z is running 15psi, induction kit, decat exhaust and a Mines ecu. The stock clutch is now slipping when it begins to come on boost in 3rd and 4th. Whats the best clutch to go for, also is there anybody here local to Stoke on Trent that can do it for me? Perhaps just after the new year... Also whats the going rate for a clutch change in a Zed? Cheers guys, Dan

I had a full respray on my white 300ZX 18 months ago, however, just recently the paint in certain areas has gone very rough and looks almost as though it has has a fine layer of frozen water on it. I Have washed and dried the whole car and concentrated on the affected areas with a bodyshop friendly paint cleaner but it has made no difference. What has caused this? Is the paint knackered? Is there anything I can do to prevent further paint deteriation? Can I have the paint flattened back to how it was or does it need another full hit? Cheers guys, Dan
