Thought it may be interesting to see some photo's of real faults & damage that can occur to your zed rather than hypothetical conversations, also may be fun to have a guessing game, take a look at the following photo's, and see if you can guess what went wrong. is it true that you can get a 5th gear unlocked on the 4 speed auto box on 300zx??? or is there another 5 speed auto box that will fit??:cool:

I had a fit this morning whilst carrying my son, i was at the top of the stairs and my boy fell down the stairs, when I came round I felt so guilty, he is fine, im ok now but not allowed to drive for a year, thats like cutting one of my arms off, now would be a good time to sell dont u think?:cry:

Hey all I have been hacking up and down the A24 trying to set up the suspension and I have a really odd problem. When I brake and squeeze the pedal it starts to slow down and brakes in a straight line, I gradually increase the pressure and it brakes harder, then I hit a certain amount of pedal pressure and the car pulls very suddenly and slightly to the left then if I come off the pedal slightly it pulls back to the right. I can repeat this over and over. Now when I had the car rebuilt I had the front bushes replaced with poly bushes, I have adjustable tension rods etc etc. Can anyone guess what might be causing the problem. Just thought I'd post this ;) As I was outside today washing the Rover, I thought it was a good chance to strike Eliza up and see how she is. But considering that I haven't struck her up since at least October I wasn't holding much hope out for the battery. Well once I'd tightened the battery connection (a bit loose the first try) Eliza struck up without any problems what-so-ever! I'd checked coolant and oil levels first (just in case) and found no leaks anywhere. Once she was running I got the electric 'foot pump' out and inflated both rear tyres, as soon as that was complete it was time to move her around the car park so as to remove the rust on the brake discs…

been keeping this a little quiet as i have been working on it for aaaaages. just wanted to get it right. well im near completion and not sure of what to do the final colour in. just thought i would share some of the progress etc

hey guys, i know this question has been asked a million times before, but i can't seem to find any answers to my problem. I did an ecu error check and it came back with the faulty coolant sensor code (13 i think!). i've tried cleaning the connectors and terminals but doesn't seem to have made any difference. would this cause idling issues? when i start the car from cold, it idles at just shy of 1500rpm then after a while of driving goes down to just below 1000rpm. if i stop the car for a couple of minutes then start it back up, it can idle anywhere between 1500-2000rpm! it'll sit like that for a good while before it eventually settles back down to somewhere near the 1000r…

I will hopfully be looking into some new parts for the z soon: -Driftworks Hicas Eliminator Kit with hicas blocked off -Spring and dampers -Adjustable front tension rods -New Front and rear discs, pads and hoses (Standard size EBC?) -New tyres all round But i need some advice on the springs and dampers part, What other bits do i need to go abit lower?, 30mm is ok for me, doesnt need to be adjustable. And would Stiffer anti-roll bars be a major difference over standard? Im on a budget so i dont need to know about the over the top mods

car is going back into the bodyshop soon to get the last few things done, when i got it painted i had hok red ice put in it but isnt really that noticeable, how big a job would it be to get the metal flake done again? do i need a bigger size flake or more flakes? aslo how much do you recon it would cost for this?

Just a quick question, if i remove the badge from the nose panel will there be holes left?? I've seen 'smoothed' panels for sale and dont want to fork out for one if all i have to do is remove the badge. Thaaaaaaaank you. Bradley

WAs just wondering today about how long i will have my zed for. As it doesnt owe me anything i wouldnt be in any hurry to get rid of it. So my thoughts where on if i could picture myself having the car for basically the rest of its life. As now adayds you cant get a performance car for the kind of money a zed is. Was just wondering how long you guys reckon use will have yours.

Does anyone have any info, ie: dates & prices on this years scumrun, know i probably wasting my time asking here but can't find anything anywhere else.

95 n/a man/ got fuel /turns over fine:hyper: started and drove perfecly last night before i start to check the plugs extra is there a common prob i could look at first

Could anyone tell me if putting 95 in tank instead of the usual 99 could be causing my terribly low and rough idle (about 400-500rpm)?

Spotted a Black LWB TT to night attempting to dounut in the rain over a local car park in Basildon. I went out with a mate of mine in his Scooby tonight as im on call this week and couldnt go out on the piss. Well after watching the Zed in the car park and getting ripped to pieces by my mates! My mate done his bit in his Scooby aswell. after finishing a guy came over and said I would check your tyres as alot of nails had been thrown on the floor hours before hand! So not only is there nails flying around the place most of the cars will have puntures.:cry: I know its not the right thing to do with any car or car park but how stupid is it to throw nails on …

Much to my relief , my car passed its MOT this morning . On the Advisory Notice were these items : 001 Nearside rear Intermediate drop arm deformed but serviceable 002 Offside " " " " " " So , I have three questions : What exactly are they ? Where can I get them ? Any idea of cost ? Thanks peeps

got my Z today will put picture on later. can some one help went to put my radio in and found the the airal cable in the Z has two wires going to a two prong connector so cant fit it to the radio went to halfords to see if you could buy a converter but they did not have a clue thanks :confused:
