hi guys. when i picked up my z i noticed that the clutch pedal was very soft and saggy and the bitting point was only about 5mm off the floor. i tried bleeding the clutch by releasing the nut on the cylinder on the wing near the headlamp, pumping the pedal, tighten the nut up, then did the the same on the cylinder underneath the car. it got a little bit better but as i was pressed for time i only managed to do it once so i dont think i managed to get all the air out of the system. now this is where it gets weird!!! i've just topped up my power steering fluid as my hicas light kept coming on first thing in the morning when the car was cold. Due to a burst heater matrix im after one for those little electric heaters. Has anyone used them before and are they any good ? links to one that you have personal experience of would be handy because the car is bloody freezing !!!

Need to upgrade most of the suspension bits on the zed. Thinking about the Tein Super Streets, which are height and damper adjustable. Anybody have these fitted and how are they? Did a search but most folk seem to have the Tein Flex`s which seem to be v good but quite stiff. ta

Where can i get a suspension upgrades for the 300zx? I only want UK companies if possible because i wont be importing, and can somebody give me the lowdown on the KYB-AGX with TEIN S-Tech combo? The only options i can find are eigher the teins or the kyb's. Does anybody have any for sale? I want to make the right choice so im trying to gather as much info as possible

just a quicky but is a n/a z32 air con rad the same as a twin turbo air con rad?? cheers

having just read the latest on my headlight thread, this new issue has come up about running off one relay, is there a good chance it could burn out? and how about putting an in-line fuse on that wire you fitted, would that be an idea?

Good evening all ;) After various small corrections/ fixes I still seem to be having a boost issue. If I let my car run up to temp and then try for full boost :dance: it is there on tap but after the first 5 mins I go into safety. Any ideas?

i know the left/right and move mirror lense but have no idea what 3way switch on the right is for!! please help :headvswal

Hi can anyone help me ive got running dramas with my Z32. it sounds like im running short of a couple of pistons and have just put new HKS spark plugs in and still same problem. I have some new coils on the way and this could be the problem however i wanted to check them first. What resistance reading am i meant to get on the coils packs. Thanks for the help Marty

hi there does any one know where i can get my hands on an hks hi power exhaust ...can only find thm on us websites and shipping cost is like £600 :hurl: the exhaust it self is under £500. hellllllpppp

I hoped to be able to afford a set of lightweight recaro seats for my zed, but I think I might have to sell my seats first to pay for them. How much do they go for? both electric (passenger and driver) in black leather - excellent condition. I did have the drivers bolster proffesionally repaired and you can't tell except for not having a pocket on the back of the drivers seat (they took the leather for the repair from the rear panel so the leather matched). Not a for sale thread... just seeing if I will get enough money to make it worth selling them to raise money for the new seats.

Hiyas, took the Zed for another test drive today, but finding the auto box rather strange. I got receipts with the car for a recon box only a few months before I bought it BTW... It seems to change when it wants, or not at all, I can be in 2nd, or 3rd, and it will rev it's knackers off and not change, sometimes feels like the clutch is slipping (although it doesn't have one :-) I've tried everything with the throttle, ie. being gentle, being harsh, backing off etc. but still wont change, and also, the kick down doesn't always kick down, just revs in the same gear, and doesn't go much faster! The fluid level is sound, but, the speed sensor has been playing up, …

ok so most people remember there first car and all the stupid things you did to it - along the lines of 'neons', 'spinner binlids', 'light lids' massive jap spoliers on fiestas and the good old 'tights on the lights' :xxx: - so me and a fellow JDM'r were slightly pissed at a badly timed BBQ and a bit bored n having a good old reminis about all the stupid embarrasing things that we did bak in th'day....when i had the amaizing idea to 'tight my lights'!! he then joind me and began removing his own lights on his supra......so 1 drunken hour later iv snapped off the strip that goes accross top of my lights gotten bored and given up - my mates supra has no lights atal...…

Just thought id say that after about 3 months of going mad with my lights, they are now sorted thanks to the help of Darkside!! cheers buddy! :dance:

Is there a working link for this, I've done a search but the links don't work. Gonna try cleaning them up, thought they had already been done by the previous owner. But can't see a mention of it. Hopefully It will sort my lights out

how fast would you go for every 1k revs in 5th gear for both TT and NA?
