Last year i had a small accident in the Z, i have replaced the bumper, o/s wing and headlights, but it looks like it has done a bit more damage and probably needs the bit that the headlights are mounted on replacing, or just straightening maybe. trouble is, dont really have the money to get it looked at and cant really afford to keep the car if its not being used. if i sell it as it is, i wont get anything for it and if i get it fixed and then sell it i still may not get a lot for it either. thought about breaking it up and selling parts, but i dont have anywhere to keep the car if i did that. any thoughts from the guys and gals on here would be greatl…

Hi guys , just looking for some advice as im looking to resurrect my 300zx for this summer and looking at getting some engine work done, just not too sure what my options are yet: My nissan has been off the road for the past couple of years, she was smoking quite bad everytime i pulled up at traffic lights etc and it was left idling and whilst it was off the road i was going to get it fixed however i got the chance of a wide arch kit and a few other body parts for half price last winter so i decided to fit that and have it looking mint, then start on the engine once the body was done. That time has almost come and i was wondering who/where is best for me to take…

Done a search on this, but cant seem to find much on the actual removal of the old wheel. Is there a couple of screws on the back which you remove and then pull the centre off. Then get a large socket on the nut and job done??? after dont touch anything behind it, could I mark it with tip-ex to have a reference point? Thanks:)

  10. Its been out the bodyshop for 18 months now with its full gloss white respray with ultra violet flake. However, the cold weather has caused it to come out with some small micro blisters here and there, so its going in tommorow to have a machine polish... & while its in there I am having the B door pillars and roof painted high gloss black :hyper:

Shame you didnt bring the zed out to play, It was very slippy in the fog on the way home. The zed was a bit tail happy. Next time im up around your neck of the woods, i will let you know. When we do the next Viginnia water meet, i expect to see you there. Good man Cheers Stu

My Z has the Hella HID kit on which was from a group buy on here years ago. And first the right headlight went out (not main beam), so i thought it was the bulb, tried it in the left side and the bulb worked. So i thought it must have been the ignitor (the kit has seperate ignitors and ballast), tried plugging the right one into the left and it sparked, still no light from the bulb, and now non of them work. So my question is, does anybody, maybe from the group buy, still have the wiring diagram, or had this problem themselves and solved it. Or know a good auto electrician in the northwest that can sort this problem out. This is the link for the original group buy. …

As I'm getting a list together of what I need to get for my rebuild. I have been looking at uprated clutch and flywheel. Thing is not sure what one to go for. I've been searching on what other people have and have wrote about this subject and I am thinking of the RPS clutch and flywheel. With the different types I'm not sure which one to go for. My setup will be GT28r turbos with forged pistons and conrods. Would the sport street clutch be good enough or will I need the MAX street clutch? There seems just the one RPS flywheel from Z1. Has anyone had experience with the Z1 clutch and flywheel combo with the 6 puck ceramic option? Thanks, …

In my old uk spec zed the seat position always seemed to be lower than my jspec :wack:  always had plenty of head room and could easily see the dash through the steering wheel... in the jspec my head seems v close and the steering wheel seems too low! is this just because the foam was flattened by some bloater who had eaten too many subway meatball marinaras or are our western friends seat mounts boosted up slightly to help with height issues!? 20. Started by 300TT,

Hi Guys:dance: My 91 auto TT is driving absolutely perfectly except........ at speeds of over 65mph when the revs are at 2500rpm there is a rumble from what sounds like the rear of the car. If I raise the revs to 3000rpm it disappears, as it does when you drop to 2000rpm. Around town and at low speeds it is perfect but if I stay at 70mph, either manually or in cruise control the car drives at 2500rpm hence the problem. It is quite a worrying noise and will stay there continuously until the revs move 500rpm in either direction. I hope someone can shed some light on this one:)

Just got my car back from the garage and have a warning light lit up on the dash. It's the one with the windscreen and wiper down the middle and lights up yellow. Anyone know what this means? Something as simple as fluid??

Hi guys, newbie here after a bit of advice. Just brought my z on sunday. it feels really boaty and sloppy at the back end. just went through an m.o.t and only failed on a steering rack gaitor. im wandering if it could be the shocks as it does float around and doesn't install a lot of confidence in driving. any thoughts or suggestions? any idea how much a new set of shocks are (think the rear ones are the worst)? thanks in advance guys Lee

Just got mine delivered today, the red ones different to the black one, one of groves that runs down the center of the keys is in a fifferent place. Is this because the red one wont do the glove box? I thought the blanks are meant to be the same untill you get them cut??
