Can anyone that has a hub lying around take some measurements for me please. Im about to make up some relocation brakets to use 324mm skyline GTR discs, but my car is not near right now, so could someone let me know the distance between hole centres, and the thickness of the mounting lugs ? Id also happily make some up for others, if you send me a bit of Ally and a SAE :D

heya, my zed turbo has this strange feeling of a lack of power when cruising with the foot just holding the throttle. it seems to happen only if im not accelerating...just rolling along- for instance in 3rd gear at 30 it will feel hesitant and then when i put my foot down its fine, also noticed yeaterday its now doing the same thing but clearly missfiring at the same time until you put your foot down and then its fine?? anybody have any ideas, im new to zeds and this car is starting to put me off them already.

Hi all, Ok ive managed to get the old loom out now! Im wondering if its the right loom or not as my old one is coded 24011 40p60 then a big 3 and the new one is b4011 31p61 Im hoping its the same and that over the years they just improved the loom as it does have all the right connectors and plugs in the right places, But ive noticed that the only other plug on the loom that is near the ECU connector has a pin missing in it compared to my old one? The new loom does look better made and improved but it a little bit longer i maybe wrong tho as the old 1 is twisted up now. Please help:( Thanks Dan

Just asking for some advice on what to look for after hitting crash barrier after slide on black ice :( Went through roundabout ok and started to accelerate away on dual carriageway, started to fishtail in 2nd, off throttle and dipped clutch, car settled down, changed up into 3rd let foot off clutch car fishtailed badly, spun me around, slid up carriageway backwards and rear passenger side bumper hit barrier and rotated me . checked car no obvious damage to bumper lights, wheel etc. Car drives fine. Anyone got any ideas of things to look for that are not obvious.

“Losing 1kg of rotational weight (i.e. wheel weight) is the straightline performance equivalent to removing 10kg from your car” Came across it earlier on a website. 3 facts about lightweight wheels according to Rota Wheels UK Managing Director Julian Pearcey: A lightweight wheel doesn't simply increase straight line performance, when you hit the bumps and twisties they come into their own A lightweight wheel is much more eager to change direction Less unsprung weight means that your suspension won’t have to try and control 25kg of wheel and tyre, bouncing around in the arch I do know that the man selling the wheels, would obviously comment o…

Hi I was wondering if anyone knew how difficult it would be to keep ABS with a bigger brake kit or get it set up correctly. I have heard of peole fitting bigger brakes then having an accident because the wheels locked up. So can ABS be kept or reset for the new setup? how? Electronic jiggery pokery or a mechanical solution? Safety is my consideration when looking to go down a bigger brake route.

Hi all, I am a complete newbie as far as 300zx's go. However, there has just recently been one part ex'd at a garage my bro works at and I was after a bit more information on it / the cars in general. TBH the garage themselves do not know a lot about the car, and have said that it is a limited edition of 50 and has 400bhp? I have had a quick search but can not find any models that would match those details. Was there ever a limited run of 50 cars of any model? The details the garage has are: 92J Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo Slick Top Manual 400bhp 1 of 50 ever made 52000km Imported in 2005 and has had a cam belt and three services since then but nothing …

Guys - I have a worn OEM steering wheel on my Zed. While it looks tatty and I have a replacement wheel with boss adaptor, I am loath to replace it anything other than the original wheel. Based on the pricing of an OEM wheel (which is horrendous - you'd buy a donor car cheaper) this won't happen. I feel that somethings just look better in stock, and the steering wheel to me is one obvious example (personal taste of course-so no offence intended). Now does anybody know, if there is any company/individual who can refurnish the outer ring/grip part of the steering wheel? Does such a service exist or has anybody got it done. If you have, any chance of some pics. …
