Hi all, Im new to the site as you can all see and im currently on the look for a 300zx.. Im only 22 so i can only afford insurance on a non turbo 300zx, so i was wondering which of the non turbo zeds came with the limited slip diff?:duffer:

I lent my 90 J Auto N/A Z (I bought it from Uno a few months ago) to my partner's son. He'd actually driven it lots of times, but lost it coming out of a R/B and hit some bollards! Any good wisdom on what's best to do with it: Break it? Sell complete as scrap? Any other option? Too broken to fix I think! 114,000 kms, Engine still runs fine and it moves but power steering gone. As a stock ride, it felt very tight and comfortable, Hugely sad for a great piece engineering! Fortunately I still have a TT manual which he's not going to drive! .

Where is the best place to order exhaust manifold gaskets manifold to head not turbo, best as will stock them, rang a few places but no luck on any one getting back to me, may have to be Mr Nissan

I have had thoughts lately about selling my zed, it has no issues and it is the car I have always wanted, its immaculate and has had a fortune spent engine wise, I was just thinking that I could probably do with something more usable as the zed is my everyday car, I still want power but something more practicle, I was thinking about the audi s4 4.2 quattro v8 or the bmw m5, I know it wouldnt compare to the zeds looks but it would be a better everyday car dont you think? WHAT DO I DO? PS. THIS MAY JUST BE A PHASE IM GOING THROUGH

is it possible to get a z31 digi dash to fit in a z32 ?

Good evening, I had an issue on Friday when one of the pipes off the balance bar split and was to brittle to repair. Managed to replace the pipe and now have a power issue. When I apply 1/4 to 3/4 throttle it seems as if somthing is starving or a negative effect and the car starts hezitating and feels just like when you are running out of fuel. Any ideas? ;)

well thats me about done i think, been trying to fix my F***ing headlights for about 3 months now, just spent all morning outside trying everything i can think of, and now im sick to the back teeth of it, the sad thing is, im sure its something silly, but theres no bloody space to get to anything in that engine bay, and i aint giving to an electrician to tell me its a bad earth and charge me £200! so i think im just gonna get rid of the dam thing and let it be someone elses problem! sorry guys, but getting it of my chest is helping! :headvswal

Right had this for a while its no bother but when the car is frozen (Got a cover over it) and its super cold for the 1st few miles my speedo doesnt work at all (Sits at 0) then will start bouncing to the speed im at and 0 and back then will be solid on my speed and work perfectly! Only happens on the coldest mornings just wondering if this hapens to anybody else! Im not fussed as its still accurate and works just thought id see :) Munny

Still got this headlight problem (been about 3 months now)! dim on one side, bright on the other! fuses are fine, relays seem fine, however when you pull out one of the relays all the lights go out, but if u pull out the other one they dont go out, does that mean no power is reaching it???? dunno if this makes sense, kinda hard to explain it all in words! getting to the point where ive had enough now and considering my future with the zed! :mad:

I've been reading alot about relocating the dett. sensor, as i have done mine, but still keep getting 34. Anyways, almost every write up seems to have a sentence similar to this, eg. 'contrary to popular belief, and the nissan manual, the dett. sensor only uses one wire, the other is said to be a ground, but it is not'. Right, if that is the case, then how is it possible to bypass it using a 1 meg resistor, as it would only be connected to one side of it, and the other going to nothingness (?) Just wondering if anyone can clear this up for me, and to tell me (pic would be lovely) which pins from the ECU (not the sub-harness) go to which pins on the dett. sensor,…

Looking to find out if the perspex strip on the boot is the same size for both UK and jap. Just i have gone and ordered the perspex strip from a nissan dealership using the code 26590-49P00, the one without the brakelight. As i have ajap import i was just wondering if they are the all the same size.

As the headline says - does wide wheel width in the rear have any negative effects on the drivetrain when it is combined with increased power? Just a question that I have been wondering about. A follow on question would be in relation to the whole set up in the rear regarding the geometry. If I had a 305 tyre or wider for example, would the setup require much adjustment? My medium term plan is increase the BHP and create a wide bodied SWB with large rear wheels. I wouldn't do the last part if it could result in potential problems in the drivetrain.

please help me my nissan 300zx tt 93 series 2 ,will not idle for the first minute of running when warmed up runs spot on although the idle is a touch low i think at about 650 rpm , i have changed the temp sensor maid no difference please help

ive had my twin turbo for about 2 months now, its been absolutely perfect, will heat up in next to no time, hot air will come out and thats it now then last week i headed off out for a burn and i got to a lenghty bit of road and after tha car had already warmed up (so needle is halfway) i dropped it into 4th gear and planted my foot, i then noticed as soon as my foot was down boost gauge went round, then the temp guage went right down, literally like quater of the way down. But i hadnt actually moved much more further for it to possibly cool itself down and not that quickly. It cooled itself down as quickly as it boosted up, so i backed off and as soon as i bac…
