Hi War is breaking out! I get a low to mid level air siren noise from the back of my Zed (behind drivers seat about under the boot area) - 1996 TT ZX300 and 64,000 miles on the clock. Is this a turbo on the way out or (hopefully) something not as serious? Cheers Del

Hi All, Does anyone know when the injector connectors were changed. I have a chance of an old style set but I'm not sure if they will fit my car (1992 UK TT). I believe they changed on the series 2 maybe?. Cheers.

I've finally got around to fitting my 18's after many many months contemplating selling my Zed. Not the greatest wheels in the world but for the price i got them for brand new i couldn't resist :) So the Modex 17's are off and on Ebay and i'm pretty happy with the look. Next on the list is black wing mirrors, different spoiler (i fancy the kaminari) and complete the cream leather interior.

I remember a post from a while back where someone had replaced their JDM foglights with crystal clear modern fog/driving lights. I was talking about this the other day and have since tried to find pics of them, or find the make and model of the lights used - but can't find them anywhere. Anyone know what lights were used and got any pics of them fitted?

can anyone that knows owt about setting these things up help me - the following settings used to give me about 15psi, but since ive had the engine tweaked (timing, a/f ratio corrected etc.) the same settings are giving me 12psi. with my setup i'm looking to aim for 17psi, but can someone suggest what the settings should be for 15, 16, and 17? or is it a matter of driving to my personal test track and having a (very careful) play? set: 75 gain: 14 start: 9.10 cheers

Hi all, can anyone help? My Autobox has been playing up for a while with gear changes under static load and constant revs. It's quite tempramental playing up more in the wet. I've checked TPS and that seems ok and tried disconnecting ECU but its still playing up. I am planning on changing oil but not got around to it yet. While I was driving last night, the car started jumping. It wasn't the engine as it didn't do it in neutral, only in 'D'. I had to drive it under '1' and '2' all th way home while it was playing up. But after maybe 30secs, it would calm down though I couldn't get it to shift up once I reched lower revs and think I may have lost 3rd gear? W…

I'm thinking about putting my car on ebay with a starting price of £100 but a reserve of £8.5k. How much it is going to cost me to advertise this with a reserve for a 7 day auction ? I very much doubt it will meet the reserve, but I'm very interested to see what Joe public thinks it's worth. Maybe we should have a sweep stake before I do it. On a 7 day auction... I recon it will get to £4,800 Place your bets now !!!

This might be a helpfull topic for people who want to build Tomei solid lifters and solid lifter profile cams. I've been working on these for a while and found several problems on the way that made the setup very difficult, and therefore worth explaining. I'm Dutch so please don't mind my spelling:slap: I'll start with some general info on these cams. The Tomei procam solid lifter cams are considered the best for the vg30, ca18 and rb20. This is cause the stock hydraulic valve lifters are replaced by lightweight (about 40% less weight) solid lifters. The weight reduction allows for a faster opening and closing rate and therefore more lift overall over the openin…

How to prepare it, what paint to use (gloss black) and how to paint the Nissan letters a different colour from the rest of the cover ...an idiot's guide really :D Thanks in advance - Andy

lights on this car seems loads more efficient than my other it's a series 2 vs a series 1 if that makes a difference but this one actually lights the road up pretty well. How can I tell if they are HID's ?:bow:

  25. I fitted new speakers last year, but I want something more meaty. Looking at getting some Alpine component speakers. Only question I have is, how much space is there behind the door? The depth of the speakers I am after is 59mm. Will the window clear this when wound down? I am NOT looking to build pods or anything. I want these to be hidden away nice and descretely. http://www.online-caraudio.co.uk/shop/speakers/alpine/alpine-spr-17s-446310.html Also, where do you guys hide their crossovers?
