finally got the subframe finished and fitted:hurray: some pics....

hey people, am in the middle of a little project with my front indicators. i am going to change them to led's, (having fitment probs with my smic's) and i think i need some sort of unit/converter to stop the indicator flashing too fast (like when you have a bulb out). anyone know what the litlle gizmo thing i need is? al.

Iam interested in this zed on ebay as a project it has a boosting problem, hes been told it could be an injector problem. Hello there, My heater blower has suddenly decided to stop working. As all the lights on the climate control panel still come on and you can hear actuators moving when selected and no fuses were blown I assumed it must be the fan itself. I checked that there was voltage at the motor connection with the fan selected on and I got the corresponding correct voltages ( 4, 6, 9, 12). So assuming it was the motor I took it out and tried cleaning it using the info on here. No joy.... So I sourced a replacement fan, fitted it... still no joy. hey guys just trying to mot the zed but itsd running rich a ballsing up my emissions how do i adjust the mixture a tad to get it back down ? is there a mixture screw on thrittle bodies? heeeeeelp

We have something called eu-kontroll in Norway. Same as your mot. About the emission test... Like many others I don't have the cat on my car anymore. What about mixing ethanol e85 with gasoline.to pass the emission test? Wouldn't that lower the emissions enough to pass along with the fuel dampner trick?

Is it still The Beast for East, or has someone else taken over? Any pictures and specifications would be great.

as id recently posted my autobox decided to seize up and blow its internals out all over my driveway,so ive decided to look into a manual conversion...ive looked on ebay where there is a few for sale but the variation in prices and the quality are too risky to purchase....ive bought similar items b4 for my p10 primera gt that was stated in good condition but when was fitted was completly knackered.so i dont have much faith in ebay for that reason..to cut a long story short ill very soon be looking for a manual z32tt manual conversion kit that is complete and in good order.this is my first zed and i intend to keep it....so if any1 can help me with these items i want ill b…

Dont suppose anyone has bought any ECU cables from ebay before? I thought i would try this: Click Here to see if it would work and im having enless problems trying to get the drivers to install, the guy isnt even english so he doesnt understand what on earth im on about when the drivers wont install! I have asked him to send them again in case they were corrupt etc, but it just wont install! Ive tried other drivers which are so say for the usb to serial emulation but god knows, it just doesnt want to work. So personally i wouldn't bother buying from this source!

has anyone fitted injectors from a subaru to their car ? or from a supra ? Been looking at different injectors that may be used and was curious to see if anyone had fitted them before :smash:

Hi, I am toying with replacing the dash/speedo/tacho/water temp/fuel gauge cluster with digital versions - probably from egauges.com - like these: http://www.egauges.com/vdo_ind.asp?Type=Cyberdyne_Kit&Series=Cyber_Blue&PN=E002E350Y or from vgauges which are similar. [daft] Question: Just want to be sure... Will I have issues with the ECU not getting data because the original instuments are basically not there anymore. I do not know to much about the suspension, so here goes... Do I need any extra parts with a coilover set? Like camber arms and so on??

i've had a problem since day one with the clutch pedal. it's been very sloppy and the bitting point was nearly in the carpet. i've tried bleeding it twice now, and although it is a lot better, it still feels very sloppy. I've also noticed that the clutch is now slipping in 4th and 5th gear. Is this all down to my sloppy clutch pedal or is my clutch on its way out? it's really starting to bug me as i seem to be finding problem after problem with this car. This is another thing that i cant afford to bloody do as im still trying to sort my springs and shocks out. :rant: starting to think i've brought a lemon:cry:

A big thanks to jeff at the zedworld for his help to day i got a blue leather seat i was looking for and new new panels.have the seat and half the panels in place and they look great. What a great guy would be happy to deal with him again

Were side skirts ever fitted on any swb models from the factory i think the version s or r was but wasnt sure if they made a swb model of that .:):)

My zed has just got a problem not a missfire as such just jerking at low revs 1500 /2000 rpm most noticeable at slow speeds in 4/5 th gear.It happens at around 30 /40 mph above 2000 rpm fine any ideas thought it maybe plugs or coilpacks but it runs smooth over 2000 rpm thanks :cool:
