Hi all, I finally have my Zed back after a year and a half. Phil from Blackmoor Service Station (formely CS Woods) has done a very good job. I'd like to thank everyone for their help, you know who you are. However I would like to say a special thank you to Dan@DTA, he has been absolutely brilliant (as always). Also Jeff TT for being available to help whenever called upon for advise. The car still needs to be set up properly which Jeff will be doing. At the minute im running in the new engine so sadly can't put my foot down...:headvswal Once its ran in then i can look at the tuning and mapping of it to some silly power. In the mean time her…

Im about ready to rip my hair out with my alarm. got everything fitted and working all except the remote start. It was a cheapo ebay remote start jobbie, which i've fitted loads for myself and friends etc in the past. It's not one of the older ones where you have to wrap a wire round an ht lead so it detects if the car is running. this one works of the oil pressure warning light.... no problem.... except the z doesn't have one!! :confused:The instructions were a little bit dodgy (crap translation from chinese to english i assume!), but everything is wired up as specified... apart from the oil light detector. it says to wire it up to the oil warning light(+). so by t…

Either I had a reaaly vivid dream many years ago or I remember a Top Gear episode where they reviewed some super cars I think a 911 was involved and then at the end of it said ... or you can buy one of these... And a bloke drove a T top 300 in Grey or Silvery blue across a track and they spoke of how his car was pushing 400hp etc etc. Does anyone else remember this? Does anyone have a link to the vid? Cheers all Big :duffer: to anyone that can help me find it.

success storey for a change! - since iv had the car the clutch bite has been on the floor and gears grind only slightly when gunning it (like when you go through the gears whilst joining a sliproad) so i was told it might be the clutch not disengaging 100% when changing at speed, wich made a bit of sence.... so i followed the faq's and iv solved it!!!! its great now and its not half as heavy!! - i also fixed the horn!!! (turned out to be a bad earth so i mounted it on the otherside!! feels great to drive now!! - anyway i noticed that only one of my zorst make noise....bit weird so i had a look down both and...... os... ns..... have a guess wich …

Hey, Been tidying up my dads car for most of the day, now he's gone to go home but we have no lights, no fogs, no sidelights (front or rear) and as soon as we turn to dipped beam, its just constantly stuck on full beam and wont come off, not even any dash lights. However the brake lights are working fine. Anyone have any idea what might be causing this, as he was hoping to take her home tonight. Thanks Rich

Hello there, My heater blower has suddenly decided to stop working. As all the lights on the climate control panel still come on and you can hear actuators moving when selected and no fuses were blown I assumed it must be the fan itself. I checked that there was voltage at the motor connection with the fan selected on and I got the corresponding correct voltages ( 4, 6, 9, 12). So assuming it was the motor I took it out and tried cleaning it using the info on here. No joy.... So I sourced a replacement fan, fitted it... still no joy. Reading through my workshop manual I found the self diagnosis test for climate control so tried this. Upon starting the tes…

We have something called eu-kontroll in Norway. Same as your mot. About the emission test... Like many others I don't have the cat on my car anymore. What about mixing ethanol e85 with gasoline.to pass the emission test? Wouldn't that lower the emissions enough to pass along with the fuel dampner trick?
