Hi all, Seeing its now been well over a year since I had my Zed I think I need to get this out of my parents garage! Its in nice condition and the paint is still nice and bright. There is a small pin dent near the front but otherwise a very nice bonnet. If someone wants to collect it from my parents house in Salisbury then they can have it! Can send pics if you want. Anyone?

Was under my car the other day and noticed that the front and bottom of the engine looked quite wet with oil, the engine has not long been built and put in, I will get Zedworld to have a look next thursday whilst getting my ebc installed, any ideas what it could be? If its going to be a big job, the garage who did the work on it will be sorting it out for me.

Hi there everyone, Was overtaking earlier and as I put my foot down a bit more to pass I lost power for a moment like a rev limiter kicked in. I came off the power and it went back to normal straight away. This has happened twice this week, both times exactly the same. It kicks in about +7 psi boost. I know safety boost cuts in at +7 but mine dont do it all the time. Haven't noticed anything else wrong. Car is a 1991 UK TT manual. Any help would be awesome. Many thanks, Rob

I started my car and drove it today for the first time in 4 weeks, the engine started on the button and drove perfectly straight away, jeff at zedworld will be fitting my ebc next week and sorting out any niggly problems with it, I cant wait.

hi my tailgate closes fine, but when it is closed it can still be lifted slightly. is this common on zeds? can i tighten it down so that it doesnt move? it wont open when its closed so the catch is working fine but it lets damp in where its loose! when its closed i can hold the corner of the tailgate and lift it about 1 inch! any help or advice would be great thax mark :headvswal:headvswal:headvswal:headvswal:headvswal

This post may seem like going back to basics but we are constantly surprised by the amount of people who do not know or understand what is written on a bottle of oil and therefore have no idea of what they are looking for, buying or using. Has anyone (or has this already been posted) heard about the revision that was brought in to the MOT test this year? Basically says that if you exhaust(s) is louder than standard it is a fail. The official wording is "We have made a slight amendment to the RfR, which now makes it clear that the comparison is with a similar vehicle with a silencer in average condition" :eek::eek:

As my sig say's: Not spending my daily allowence while travelling (tesco snacks for dinner) and saving £10 a day to spend on my Zed :wack: I get the option while away on business to have £20 a day no questions asked whilst in the UK (this is the worst rate I get in Europe :confused:). I have taken the approach that instead of eating a drinking it all in pubs and so on I purchase pre packed food from the super market. To start off I was saving £10 a day but have now squeezed it to £15 a day so the average a week is £50 to £60 a week. Am I mad (sitting in my hotel room eating cheese sandwiches and not in a bar drinking). Or is it a good idea …

Can anyone tell me if its a bad idea to spray a viscous fan?...... Only reason being is im getting rid of my electric setup and thought about spraying my new viscous fan blades just to tidy it up before it goes on the car thanks James

Sometimes when i goto start my car it makes an awfull noise, the same noise it makes if you turn the key when the car is already started. It does this once or twice then starts as normal. WHY? any ideas? starter motor?

Spotted a silver Zed with BBS wheels driving past the Bp garage near Basildon town centre. Looked mint never seen this one in Basildon before.

I'm z less, not happy watched my baby be driven away by her new owner. The car needed finishing and it had dawned on me that it was never really going to happen if I kept it lol. I have a new motor tho, a dog of an mr2 turbo lol she feels as quick as the z through 2nd and 3rd, so much more grip, but lacks the power to pull hard at the top end. might get a bit more mpg tho lol

Aaaaaarh! Went out to my car this morning to go to work put key in lock, turned it and the sodding key snapped off in the lock. I've not tried to get the key out yet, but I need to know my options especially as it was my only key :headvswal:mad:
