Hello everyone and thank you for the friendly newbie welcome, have spent most of the last three days reading up on my hopefully impending new zed purchase, have narrowed my search, so far the only "must have's" are 1. import not uk (rust issues) 2. twin turbo manual as my daily drive is a mk3 ls400 so a comfortable/relaxing car is allready taken care of, spoke to a nice guy who was very helpfull at zedworld tamworth, just amazed they dont do sales as well, as ever all advice/help greatly apreciated.

My zed at the moment has a bespoke exhaust on it (I think) but the middle section of the exhaust is completely rotten. I've seen exhaust middle sections for sale on the zcentre website for £135 exc. VAT and was wondering if anyone on here had had them made bespoke or has got them from somewhere eles for anything less than that? I don't know if I'm missing how much work is involved in creating these but £135 + VAT seems a bit steep for basically two pipes :) Also a bit worried that I'm going to spend that much money on a middle section and then have to pay more to have it modified to fit the bespoke rear section. Any advice appreciated, Vern

In a few days i will be fitting a HDI boost controller, i have fitted them before but only on single turbo cars. On a twin turbo, should i just connect both the wastegate pipes together with a T-joint then to the new boost solenoid? Obviously the same for the outlet too. What do i do with the factory boost solenoid connections? leave them in situ?

I have had a few good audio set-ups in my previous cars but am toying with a new idea. Instead of the usual couple of amps, big sud and comp speakers I have a Altec Lansing 4.1 THX cert system in my attic, this has the built in processer so a single stereo feed can be converted to Prologic, Quad, Digital surround and so on, that I am going to retrofit into the car, the cool thing is that it produces an excellent balance of sound with no distortion. Just waiting for some bits to come through the post before I can get started, sounds a bit odd but what this space, I am going to try and fit this in and keep the stock look (apart from the Sub and processor but this …

Heya all, loving the Z but just come across my first problem with it. wondering if you can help :) Driving home tonight and the dash lights and headlights started to flicker a lot, then the full beam icon came on the dash board and about 10 seconds later my headlights went to full beam. They now seem to be permanently full beam as the stalk wont switch them off (even though i didnt switch them on in the first place). Is this an cheap and easy to fix common problem (fingers crossed tightly)? Seems like something has maybe shorted out or is no longer earthing but i dont know where to begin to look!

Hey people, I've been searching to find answers to a weird issue I'm having with my autobox but can't seem to have any luck. Basically, everytime I start the car up the first time during a day and when I set to move off slowly and come to a stop, the car pops out of gear and then goes back into it. It only does this at first when I'm just moving off slowly and then stopping. Once I hit the road a drive a little once its in gear again, its fine then. Any ideas what this might be?? Thanks.:)

Im still doing all my own mods, this in the most recent one, As we all know the headlight adjusters on the zeds are pants, having seen other threads re how to fix, this is my input The main adjusters are plastic and usually have snapped, making it hard to adjust the lights These are my driving lights adjusters, there are 2 adjusters to control up/down and left/right on each light, firstly remove the 2 screws to access the diff gears Once removed, using a flat blade screwdriver, prise the diff gear off both the light and the one in the plastic housing where the 2 screws were. Using this kit, a Tamiya r/c diff kit item number 50602, using the two large…

I gave the outside of the Zed a wash today and decided I'd have a go at the inside. Then I decided to check first to see what would come recommended from members on here. So guys what would you use for cleaning the dash and interior panels? Is there any specialist product out there for refreshing the interior of the zed?

It says... MAGNUM O2 Sensor Simulator is an indispensable tuning device on engines where catalytic converter was removed or exhaust was modified (headers). Decatting indicates polluted exhaust gas to the ECU, therefore check engine light will pop up, resulting ECU limp mode and reduced performance at the wheels. O2 Sensor Simulator is a plug-in replacement wired up to post oxygen sensor harness. It supplies the ECU with perfect voltage signal and tricks the ECU thinking the emission is normal. With MAGNUM O2 Sensor Simulator you will get rid of suffering O2 sensor's catalyst efficiency error code, accordingly you can restore the lost power resulted by ECU safe mode …
