Over the last couple of weeks, one of my tyres has been losing pressure, 10psi every other day, i kept pumping the tyre up, but decided to remove the wheel to investigate. Firstly the damage caused by driving a on a wheel with less than 20psi in. Put a screwdriver in tear to show the depth. This is the cause of the air loss, This is on the inside rim of the wheel, does anyone know if this can be fixed, ive got a mate who welds for a living. Just as a warning, keep a check on your tyre pressures, because this could have shredded itself, dont want to think about what would of happend at speed. Stu

Yesterday, my Zed hit the one thousand mile mark since I bought the car in November. What's it been like? Well, the first four hundred plus miles involved driving from the Norwich area up to Dunfermline, me and a full set of original wheels and tyres taking up all the seats and boot space. Needless to say, being new to Zeds - I kept the speed under eighty for the entire journey. Having an incident whilst sharing the cab with all these wheels and tyres was not an option. Sixty miles here, forty miles there .......it all adds up. I've been a member of this club and a constant watcher of the forum since before I bought the car and have learned many helpful th…

Weather today for late February was fantastic. So, took the Z out to try and cheer me up, drove up to see Jimmer and Old_Zed. It did cheer me up a little bit. But Jesus, I forgot how many people look at the bloody things. Was nice to be back behind the wheel. T-tops off and everything!

Just want to say thankyou to jeff, jamie and linda for their exellent service, Jeff and Jamie were amazing, they spent nearly 7 hours on the car checking it over and fitting my ebc, they did find a lot of things wrong with it which im not happy about, it is booked in again in april so all will be sorted, the car was a dream to drive home, it was a completely different car, a lot more economical and a lot more smoother and faster even though we kept the boost down at 14psi which is where it will be staying untill all the work has been carried out. They showed me all that was wrong and let me watch whilst they worked explaining things as they went. Thanks Zedworld Zedw…

Hello everyone and thank you for the friendly newbie welcome, have spent most of the last three days reading up on my hopefully impending new zed purchase, have narrowed my search, so far the only "must have's" are 1. import not uk (rust issues) 2. twin turbo manual as my daily drive is a mk3 ls400 so a comfortable/relaxing car is allready taken care of, spoke to a nice guy who was very helpfull at zedworld tamworth, just amazed they dont do sales as well, as ever all advice/help greatly apreciated.

My zed at the moment has a bespoke exhaust on it (I think) but the middle section of the exhaust is completely rotten. I've seen exhaust middle sections for sale on the zcentre website for £135 exc. VAT and was wondering if anyone on here had had them made bespoke or has got them from somewhere eles for anything less than that? I don't know if I'm missing how much work is involved in creating these but £135 + VAT seems a bit steep for basically two pipes :) Also a bit worried that I'm going to spend that much money on a middle section and then have to pay more to have it modified to fit the bespoke rear section. Any advice appreciated, Vern

In a few days i will be fitting a HDI boost controller, i have fitted them before but only on single turbo cars. On a twin turbo, should i just connect both the wastegate pipes together with a T-joint then to the new boost solenoid? Obviously the same for the outlet too. What do i do with the factory boost solenoid connections? leave them in situ?

basically as some of you know my heater matrix exploded coupla days ago - a new one is on its way but for the time being i was told you can bypass it to get you back on the road and so after a phone call to uno (cheers mate:) ) and a trip to my local parts dept i had everything i needed to do the job - was quite simple, located the two pipes that ran out of the block removed the matrix hoses and replaced it with a loop of 19mm coolant pipe! awsom!! pics new pipe in place top left before i tucked it away around the break fluid holder close up on the new pipes in place!! its running a little warm for some reason with this pipe in - it…
