Hi Guys, A while back the black plastic bleed screw on the top of my Koyo decided to shear off, I found that an M10 bolt fitted nicely with some rubber washers - which worked up until last week... when I accidentally overtightened and stripped the threads in the alloy flange. I have attempted to tap it out to an M12, but all that did was make the hole bigger and only give it 1 thread (I have never tapped anything in my life... this may be the problem lol)... Does anyone know if i would get away with an M14 tap on the flange?!, or is it best to seek somewhere that can replace the flange with a new one? TIA Chaps, -Stu

Hi chaps, Ive got a 93 tt I know its been covered on here before but my issue seems slightly different. I get a tap from the engine when its cold. When its warmed fully, the tapping disappears. Sometimes though, the sound reappears even when its been on a long blast! Like sat at the lights for example. It also varies in volume too. Sometimes its very quiet/no sound at all but sometimes it sounds like the old Ford kent engine! Will be checking my oil level at lunch but its just a bit alarming thats all. Any help would be great, cheers Adam

Burgandy red with a 'standard' silver spoiler:confused:, in rush hour traffic going out of central Pompey tonight. I was the 'dodgy' cyclist trying to look over my shoulder at you whilst avoiding the dockyard wall - not easy as I can't even keep the thing straight when I'm looking in the right direction:eek:

I haven't driven my Zed properly since last October. On Sunday I repaired a power steering leak, overhauled the brake calipers, changed the pads & fluid. Then I took it out for a good drive to test it all....... :eek:GOOD GOD, these cars are fast. You soon forget! And I can see why real respect is needed, being rear drivers you can easily get caught out! Absolutely effortless power, overtaking 4, 5, 6 cars with ease. The acceleration is very addictive. Its good to have a break from them some times, it makes you appreciate them all the more:) BTW running basic mods - 1mm tips/Zedworld ECU/aftermarket exhaust and Apexi induction kit, so imagine running 340b…

Hi guys, my Zed has some nice 18inch wheels on them, but they are all 8.5 inch wide with an offset of ET38 On the fronts I'm running 225's, on the rears 245's. I was careful to select the correct profiles to keep the right overall wheel size for the speedo. What size wheel spacers would I need at the front and rear to give my car a better stance and push the wheels out to make it look meaner? The car is riding standard height & I don't want any rubbing issues. Any opinions much appreciated.....:duffer:

Found some de-cat down-pipes for £129, now I need to find just the mid section as the rear is already stainless. Any ideas where's a good place to find 'em ?

Not really a help and advise question, so I have posted it in the general discussion section - but how much does car tax cost for the Zed cost in the UK? Over here its over €1,200 for the year. I'll only tax it for probably 3 or 4 summer months this year.

Its been almost 5 months since I last drove the car so taxed it up was really looking forward to driving it today but tbh I was bored and after a hour or so it went back in the garage,it run perfect and attracted alot of attention (as they do) but I dunno just something isnt there anymore, think I prefer working and spending money on it as opposed to driving it:rofl:

The V8 project has been on hold for a while, while i sorted out a load of unexpected bills and get some websites outstanding done and out the way. Well with a bit of hard work i've done some favours for two people who are going ot help me finish off the car and I decided to take a loan and blitz the whole lot. This morning my bank account received £3000 and so the hard work begins... This friday i'll be taking the block, heads and flywheel to Crane Hill Engineering to get them skimmed then the block bored, and honed before being hot dipped and returned to me While that's being done i'll order every last part i need from the states on one pallet ready f…

I just don't know what to say and feel very strange, reckon I'm in shock!. Just got off the phone with Brett from Custom Exotics and my car is coming home on Wednesday night. They've finished everything (and then some) so it's time. It's 27 months tomorrow since I last drove my Z and have mixed feelings about keeping it but really hope that'll change. I'm not even sure I can get excited about it, don't want to jinx anything............................ Vijay
