Hello all. I've done a bit of searching but still no joy here (sorry if I missed an obvious topic) I'm having problems with my clutch. The car is currently in a garage and they are struggling. I knew from the previous owner that the clutch master cylinder needed replacing, so what I have done is buy a replacement from SWZ Parts. That was fitted and they discovered the slave was leaking too, so I replaced that one today. The system has been bled, but the fluid still isn't getting to the transmission (I think that's what he said to me!). What else can be done other than the master / slave cylinder? Cheers! Ruan.

Done a bit of research on this engine its not a z31 engine [ twin cam] it was fitted to gleoias- cimas -lepoard models has the same quad cam engine as the vg30dett but with a single turbo t3-t4 flange surley this is the engine to run a big single turbo on a z32 .Or maybe just use some parts from this engine ,exhaust manifolds and intake system .It can also use a normal type front mount intercooler.;)

Hi all, whilst randomly poking around the front of my car the other day, i noticed that the recirculating dump valves seemed to be blue anodised items. im guessing this would indicate that they are some aftermarket/upgrade. would i be right in thinking this or does the Z come as standard with some nice bling bling recircs fitted?

Went to Zedworld at the weekend to get the bottom of the car inspected (due to being under warrenty) and ended up with some clear side repeaters and a Zed nose badge. The difference between the orange and clear side repeaters is mad, and having the badge back on is cool  After inspecting the underside of my Zed, it got a clean bill of health, A new sub frame has been fitted and all the brake lines are in tip top condition. I am planning to get the car treated underneath when it goes for it's cam belt change :D

My 94 UK Auto went for it's MOT yesterday and failed on emissions. At fast idle it was putting out 6.84% Now normally i'd stick it on Datascan (which i have) to diagnose, but, datascan refuses to work with this particuar car - it works fine with my other zed. So how can I diagnose what's causing the problem without computer diagnostics. I've done the basic ECU code check and get an all clear 55

Morning All, Well, bit of an emotional journey home last night!! Was driving along when the battery and 'lights' lights came on the dash. Oil pressure dropped right down and the engine temperature started to rise quickly. Got a nasty electrical/rubber smell and smoke through the driver footwell and a small bit out of the bonnet. Turns out that the alternator belt had snapped whilst driving which had obviously stopped the radiator fan working and possibly the oil pump, if there is such a thing? I probably drove for about five minutes with the engine temperature pretty high. I'm getting all the belts changed this morning before they can see if I…

  13. Hi there Im a new Z owner and unfortunately I have noe clue about this highly advanced car. Also its been fitted with a BC (profec II) which I have no clue how to check! the original boost gauge is not working. Basically I have no clue if its overboosting or whatever. Also when driving at a constant speed (50 MPH) there a weird noise coming from somewhere - have no clue what it could be. Maybe driveshaft ?? If anyone close to Aberdeen would be interested in having a chat about cars and have a drive and look at my car that would be greatly appreciated. I can drive it to you if thats an option. Im happy to buy some beer or whatever (after driving of course) as co…

Installed a couple of boost jets at the weekend now that I have my RPS Max clutch and boost gauge fitted and bloody hell does it fly! I thought it was a quick car before, but now... Started off with a couple of 1mm - got 20psi! Very gently brought her back home and tried a 1mm and a 1.2mm. Still 17, with an initial spike to 18. Not good. However, running 2 x 1.2mm's now and getting a nice steady 14 with a spike for a fraction of a second to 15. Can't hear any det, running as smooth as silk!

After having 'issues' with myself over the past few months and making rash thoughts, something hit home to me today. Have driven the Z quite a bit this weekend. Well, yesterday after taking it out, all I seemed to notice where the stares. Took it out today and I had kids shouting 'nice car mate' at me as I drove by. The best bit was while I was sat at lights in central Bristol and this guy in a pearl yellow Murcielago pulls up with the reg plate 'P4ATT'. Guy looks over at the car and nods and smiles. Was chuffed that even a 20 year old Nissan still gets a look in. The same happened last year whilst Maddie and I were taking a spirited sprint up the twistes through Che…

  23. Hi everyone, Stupidly, I managed to drive up my driveway and got a bit too close to the house, and hit the front bumper on the doorstep. Pictures below in the attachments. The bumper sheared through the bolt on the driver side where it attaches to the wing. I managed to push the bumper back in but it's not really held in with anything where it joins to the wing. I was planning on cleaning it this weekend and putting it up for sale. However, now that I have damaged the bumper, I'm not sure if I should just sell it as it is and reduce the price, or get it repaired, or get a new bumper, and then sell. My preferred choice is to sell it as it is. I reckon a new …
