Hi all, Now - I'm sure that I'm not the only person that reads about offsets in posts but hasn't a clue what they are or refer to :confused: In reasonably plain English, can someone explain what offsets are and what they do, with photos preferably. :D Anxiously awaiting to be enlightened - Andy

the problem i have is that i have a koyo radiator and a electric fan and sensor is in the pipe coming out from the engine and there is not enough room to add the hose adapter... can i add the hose adapter on the return from the radiator going back into the engine? will i get a good engine temp reading or would you suggest something else...?

I have a rear wheel arch repair section to have fitted,blended in and really want a full side respray done. Any idea of what it should cost? not talking main dealer prices, just a run of the mill body repair garage. Cheers.

hi ....does anyone know how easy it wud be to convert a twin tubo zx to a single turbo was thinking along the lines of a t72? or wud it be best jst to wack on to gt35 roller bearings?

front Offset is i think +12 now....

Can you just swop velour manual seats in a series 2 for electric leather seats from a series 1? i.e will it fit the loom ok or will I need to modify?

hey guys. Im getting fed up with my apexi afc thingamebob flapping around in my passenger footwell (it was like that when i brought the car, just shoved under the floor mat!). Unfortunately i can't mount it in the second cubby hole under the stereo as i have a 2 part kenwood stero in which takes up both din slots. I will be replacing the kenwood eventually to a single din flip out screen, which will give me the space to mount the Afc (and possibly my turbo timer), but i cant afford to get the new stereo just yet as i've just had to fork out on a new clutch and some shocks not so long ago. So, where can i mount it where it's not going to be in the way and wont involve any …

Wasn't just a puncture, the whole carcase of the tyre delaminated. The tyre was only a month old! LOL. Luckily, I nursed the car over to the hard shoulder. This could have caused me a nasty accident! So I've thanked my cotton socks! I'd dread to think what would have happened if I'd been in the Z!

OK, now having these T45, MSA Certed roll cages made. Problem is, the car being used as a jig has had to be taken back by the owner! Anyone with a LWB that fancies a cage and can get their car to Wrexham for a day?

every now and then i get a bit of smoke from cold start up, im assuming this could be leakin valve seals, are these an easy job???? could it be anything else, i havent changed the oil for over a year (although only done 5000 miles of short journeys), could this help???? cheers Allan

changed the front fog light bulbs yesterday and all is loads brighter but on removal of my indicators i noticed there is another bulb holder which appears to be all wired up and ready to go, it fits the clear part of the lens, mine is jap import.....what's it for...?:o

well just bought some and fitted them, not overley happy... not quite what i was expecting. anyone else got a pair? any pics?

Before everybody moans at me i have had a look on the search but the only guide's i've found are on the TT engine. I've removed my polished plenum to sell and got a stock one to replace it and i've never been too happy with the plenum bypass done on the car with the catch can as there was a huge vacuum on the back of the plenum causing a pipe to fold and the idle fluctuated all the time by itself along with alot of oil vapour being drawn into the intake and being burnt off in the cylinders. When i took the plenum off the other week the intake ports were all black and slimy :( Could anybody draw me up a quick diagram of the best way to bypass the plenum and …

Has anybody tried these? They're obviously not oem but for the price they're about the same price as a second hand AFM. Having just got my Z from Corvetteman it is in super condition and there really is nothing I need to do except learn how to drive an auto properly (any tips?) My main question is what general things should I be doing regularly/weekly to keep it in this shape? Thanks in advance, Bob
