Before everybody moans at me i have had a look on the search but the only guide's i've found are on the TT engine. I've removed my polished plenum to sell and got a stock one to replace it and i've never been too happy with the plenum bypass done on the car with the catch can as there was a huge vacuum on the back of the plenum causing a pipe to fold and the idle fluctuated all the time by itself along with alot of oil vapour being drawn into the intake and being burnt off in the cylinders. When i took the plenum off the other week the intake ports were all black and slimy :( Could anybody draw me up a quick diagram of the best way to bypass the plenum and …

Hi Ive just brought a Z and the clock in the dash works but resets every time I start the car I`ve been told it may be due to the way the last owner wired up the stereo. It still as the jap cd player in but thats not working and the jvc single disc that they have put in is in the slot above, ive looked at the wires to that and its not a very good job.So any pointers on what to look for. Cheers Wolveszx

Ive just popped open my old ECU and it seems to have been socketed and chipped, on top of the chip is a silver sticker with a scribed in circle with a line in the centre. anybody any ideas on the chip? The ECU has a 'remanufactured' sticker on the front, could it been the revisions made were written onto the chip?

HI guys, Wonder if you could help. My car will not start. The starter turns the engine over. There is a spark and the injectors are working as tested by spinning the CAS. We can actually see the spark when by pulling the plug out and we can see the injector spray a little inside the cylinder. ECU diag shows code 55 (all clear) Normal lights on the dashboard when turning the key. When trying to start the car the engine doesnt even attempt to start, eg. the engine keeps turning like it would if there is no fuel or spark plugs. Any one have any ideas what it could be? Stuart

Afternoon all ;) A while ago I saw that ZedCentre were selling replacement rear wheel arch sections, well I no longer see them there, but have found these ones on eBay (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/300ZX-Z32-REAR-WHEEL-ARCH-REPAIRS_W0QQitemZ230324753262QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item230324753262&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1683%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318) I was wondering whether anyone else does them, or is this place on eBay the only outlet for such items? I'm sure this is a common problem sooner or later with our cars, especially for those owners who don't want to sell thier prized possesion! Any info app…
