  1. Didnt say that was sensible behaviour of me, it wasn't big either? how long did it take you to find that? I dare say if I searched enough I may dig up something silly you have done whats that say? nothing, I take it you never get drunk and do silly things? Even the nicest people do silly things when they have a little too much to drink, the post was not about doing silly things, it was about people who dont like footie, and who think that football is crap. I personally think people who devote their life to watching other people play footie is sad, and as for wearing footie gear other than playing footie, down right sad, so kids who like WWF should run around wearing spandex, face masks wearing leotard? And kids who like rugby and play it, do they run around in their rugby outfit, tennis? do they run around in tennis outfit? no! Formula one fans, do they dress like shumacher? do they hang a ferrari flag out of their window? no because they are a little more mature than that. And as for the kids, they do it because their parents do it. So why do people who watch football think its cool to dress like these other mortal people and worship them like gods? Kids follow their parents who think this is cool, when its not IMHO its sad. I personally would not want to spend my life idolising a load of people kicking a peice of leather, and this thread was for people who dont like football, and clearly as you do get out instead of coming in to stir it. If you think I'm sad, great, good for you, people who dont like football are in the minority I guess compared to people who do, so football is clearly the norm, where as I think people who don't like it are a little more intelectual and have better things to do with their life. I never watch TV, i only use my pc to get car info and have an occasional discussion like this, what do I do with my life? well instead of pissing it up like you may think from that 1 occasion, I use it constructily, I play the guitar, I play the piano, I box, I build, I repair and tinker with cars, instead of wasting my life watching other people carry out theirs. ME
  2. Crap mate, hate it, hate these sados who are in to the whole flag thing 'HELLO!!!' it's footie not the world was FFS, who cares about a peice of lether being smashed around by half naked blokes too. Oh look its football season, I know what im going to do im going to paint a big cross on my house, my car, and ***WHACK*** shut the fk up fag of a saddo!!! Even more sad? Sat out a the local park, me and me missus used the time wisely to go out sunday to a nice park when the footie was on and all the sados were in to go out in the peace and quiet, what did we see? people running home scared to miss the football and do you know what? they had dressed all of their poor sodding kids in footie gear, socks the lot. You total total sados. ME

  4. I want a strut brace for the front too, they llok sweet, want a stainless or chrome one, any ideas?
  5. Hi all, I had a leak comming from where the MS joins the servo i guess. I oreder a seal kit frrm Mike Feeney, I got two piston things, with rubber on top and a metal washer, is this right? is it all i need and how do i do it? Lol Cheers
  6. Is it just me or is the customary 'ill test the spray paint on the wall of the garage first' plan adopted by many people? Cause the inside of the rest of the garage is a fkin multicoloured grotto lmfao
  7. lol thats better incase u wondering what i was on about and didnt see it i had them at 2048x1536 now 1024/768 much better!
  8. FOOK ME they are a bit big think ill resize em lol
  9. Got it all off as you know! Whilst im replacing the water pump and reconditioning the master cylinder etc, thought it was high time i did some tidying under the bonnet, so I've sprayed up all thecam covers etc, which will go back on nicely soon with some smithy hardpipes, laser etched Z plate for the new colour coded rocker cover, new vacuum lines, new slam pannel, fuse box cover and filler cap :D Im also in the process of tidying up the plenium, so should look good hopefully when its all done. Anyways here are some piccies with all cam covers, radiator/fan/pipes etc out and atm. Thought they were good piccies for anyone needing to use them in future to show where bits are on the front of the engine; LOL the last one is to see if anyone garage is half as messy as that little sample :D

Ahh another thing, when was the last time you had your callipers off? maybe one of the pistons is seized a bit unbalancing the breaking? hence it pulling more on one side? There again I could be talking shit lol

Correct me if im wrong, but the shaking on the steering if its bad is always front as its directly connected to your steering rack, if it were the back ones then i guess the steering would remain pretty straight and the back end would just wobble, you wouldnt feel vibrating through the wheel. I've never, ever, seen anyone with warped or buckled back disks, stands to reason really as nearly all of the weight distributes to the front when you brake anyway, the back ones do very little, whilst the front ones roast under serious braking, if one front side is warped, chances are the other has under the same pressure (unless some one was braking heavy into corners on a track day or something in it lol) Get a new set of front disks mate, and my bets are it will be fine. Get it all balanced to be sure too, but if it was a balance / tracking prob it would pull to one side all the time (although more under braking), so not to sure on the pulling thing.

Sounds like warped disks to me mate, the shaking anyway, the pulling to one side could that be air in one of the lines to one of the front callipers? just a guess, could be uneven pressure and going harder on one side? don't know if thats feasable just a guess. Of course one of your wheels could be loose :O but then that would mean it pulling to one side all the time!! Steve
  13. Thanks for all of your sugestions guys, I think that this is the stupidist fking design ever, I mean just to take a cover off to get to two bolts you have to take all the belts and the bloody crank off, how pathetic is that? I think the bloke who sat down and designed the layout of the engine should be shot, same story with everything on this bloody car you gotta take a hundred things off just to get to one sodding bit. I tried the hammering thing to break it loose but the wheel just moved too freely,TBH i was contempalting cutting the fking cover off and making a new one, in the end managed to get it off, managed to get a G clamp around the big wheel and hold it steady with a wrecking bar whilst levering the clamp one way and the centre nut with a ****ing great big bar the other, it eventually gave up. Not bad only one and a half days to get the crank off, can anyone beat that lmfao! To top it off the water pump now looks ok, but was deff leaking, i'm hoping when the new one is on and re-sealed it will solve my leaking problem!
  14. Well, I had tried clamps, adjustable spanners, all padded with wood, whilst using the biggest bar on it you ever seen, even wedged wrecking bar between floor, other pulleys, and is just bends, starts to chew things up not good, well pissed of spent a whole ****ING day trying to get one sodding buggering part off. :(((((
  15. Its an auto im afraid so tehe gear thing wont work and i havnt got a spare belt to ruin :S any other ideas?
  16. Ok another updatei need something that locks the wheel shilst i can turn the nut any ideas?
  17. Ok so i cant get the crank pulley off and found out i need to to take the bottom cover off, I havnt got one of them tools, so how the **** else can i do it?
  18. Hi all my Z is in bits! I need to know how to take the bottom cover off to get to the lower bolts of thw water pump. I've undone all the bolts but it looks like it wont come past the bottom pulley, and I cant remove that as there seems to be no way of locking it up so it doesnt spin? I've looked at the service manual but even that doesnt help?? Please can anyone tell me what to do as im sat here looking at a poorly z scratching my arse Cheers Steve
  19. Damn man I should have seen this sooner already ordered one off of feeney :(
  20. Cheers mate ;D
  21. ah another thing slightly OT but still a problem for me! Since the car has been stood it has also developed a leak of brake fluid between where the MS join the servo? I orderd a master cylinder seal kit, but someone informed me this might not cure it as it could be the seals on the other bit any thoughts? Cheers again Steve
  22. Nice one lads, i'll take a looksie at that, just to clarify, the fan is attatched to a wheel, that is just above the one with the water on, the bottom one is the water pump yeh? So in theory I just unbolt it and off it comes? I didn't see any small hoses, only the fat one that recess a fair way on the top just between where the cam covers were. So ill check for these, gonna take another look tonight, I guess for 70 tho its worth replacing it anyway yeh? Cheers again, Steve
  23. Hi guys, Got a prob I needed some help on; My cars been leaking coolant for a while, and I have been unable to locate where it is comming from. Recently I did an oil changed, and whilst I was underneath I was getting dripped on, I look up and there is a pulley wheel at the center of the engine toward the bottom at the front (just bellow the fan). There was coolant dripping from the bottom of this. So I suspected it being the rad pipes, that go into the front of the engine leaking, and dripping / running down onto this wheel. I took the cambelt covers off fan shroud etc to get to them, and they are bone dry, the coolant was still dripping from underneath thought. Im a bit think, but it looks like the pully is the water pump would i be correct? Also I ave notice for a while when the car starts up it sounds like a belt slipping and is very very loud, when I rev the car it stops, I checked all belts and they are looking very new and good condition, also if you ask me they are over tight, no flex at all, so they couldnt be slipping because they are not tight enough, I suspect that if this is the water pump, for some reason it is seizing and the belt then slips round it. Can someone shed some light on this for me please? It looks as if I can get to it to take it off of the engine, it depends on how deep it is as at the moment, I now have the shroud and cams belt covers off, the radiator is out and the fan is off, so I have close to a a good foot of space infront of it. Thanks Steve
  24. I would say head gasket too TBH, sounds like water getting through, well it deff is if white fluffy smoke, you can get greyish smoke from oil also, If stem seals you would see smoke more than likely on startup (greyish blue but whitish if mixed with loadsa condensation) and would tick over shit too. Gotta be water I think matey. Nissan do a complete head kit for about 240.00
  25. Hi guys, Could anyone tell me how and where I get to the starter motor with the Z jacked up please, Cheers Me
