  2. Ere's the backend mate. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=30938&page=1
  3. I can see them. the wheels look cool. pretty good car all in all. Not a fan of rice-racers though. all I can say to that is LMFAO!!!!
  4. Mate definatly practice on a big open car park with no obsticles. The Z is pretty controllable, but can catch you off guard, check out the vid clip on my recent post where i go to scare J holding the camera, and it slides + back wheel lifts!!!! thats partly cause of the mega stiff suspension set up i've got tho, but still, if you aint expecting that sort of thing then it can catch you out big time!!! thing is, always respect the power when going sideways, and never ever get over confident with it. Good fun tho :D
  5. ps right click and save as it doesnt work when u stream it
  6. my mental sounding Z, Someone asked what my car sounded like with virtually no baffles on the custom zorst I got a while ago, well, here it is! http://members.lycos.co.uk/xtreamEZ/SteveZ.wmv p.s don't worry the turbo whistle is normal :p
  7. No probs guys ill bang some piccies up later today, i'll take some at lunch. me
  8. did this on me 200 and so decided to try on me z too, did it today.worked real well. grinding down to 5p's pushing in sitting tight in the rubber seal, then filling, sanding and spraying, looks mint. God save the queen, thats the second car I have actually upped the value by 10p lol and value vs value ratio the only one I will prolly get all value back i spent on it, So if you see a Z for sale in the future for something like 6000.05 u know its mine lmao. me

Looks like PUSSY evolved approximately from vulva, to pouch, to bag, to anything soft and cuddly, to house cat (~1575), and back full circle to the other pussy (~1875)while still maintaining the PUSSYCAT. ______________________________________________________________________________________ Random house Unabridged: pussy n., pl. pussies. 1. a cat, esp. a kitten. 10. Fais, it was about 750 squid, full 3" stainless pipes from manifold back, cat replacement pipes I bought seperate tho for about 200, at first had no baffles, it was too loud they said and would attract too much attention from old bill, also didnt want a headache on motorway so they put some baffles in back boxes only. Sounds mental defo 1 off, it sort of growls with the nice v6 sound of the engine and pops a fair bit when you let off, also has a very very unique sound which only way i can describe is like a cat purring verry loudly when u let off, it sounds like the car is breathing. They had it for a couple of days, gave them a rough sketch of zorst req'd measurements etc. Apparantly they can make up any shape you want, as we toy'd with a few diff designs before settling on this one. cheers me p.s made a big diff on tubbies, seemed to spool up way way quicker, my friend has a hks system and said mine defo spools quicker.
  11. here it is not to everyones taste but a bit diff
  12. Predator motorsport can make custom ones based on your own design like we got the ones on mine done
  13. Not sure, run an ecu diagnostic see what it throws you, I know if the AFM is malfunctioning you will be limited but that is to about 2.5k, 5k i'm not sure, could be other sensor that is faulty, give some more details like does it do it all the time / only in a certain gear / speed? when warm / when cold? Then I am sure someone like duffer can give you some good advice. cheers

No got pirelli p-zeros, directional yes, but mounting them the same way on other side means same direction, as long as you dont mount them with the tread pattern backwards, just moves inner to outter wall not on about swapping wheels over cause then it would be backwards hence I said; Quote: I just switch tyre sides half way through tread on inner wall, lol. ^^^ NOT WHEELS, Please read post properly before you get funny thx
  15. p.s dont think you wont notice small variations in the surface and skip time sanding it even, or when its sprayed and laquered any slight deviance will show and it will look like wobbly as **** in the light.
  16. Mate its easy, get some fibre glass from halfords, wap it on, spread it out to a rough shape and let it set, then a bit more etc till you build it up and got a very rough shape there, then start to sand to the aprox shape better to take it too far than to little, then I use p45 easy sand over the top to smooth it and blend it, keep building up then sand down. If its in a particularly vulnerable place where it will be flexing a lot I use plastic padding over the top so it wont crack, instead of the easy sand. A lot of people i know use blocks and stuff to sand, I find it easier to use finger tips as you can feel the variations in the surface and concentrate on sanding them to a reasonable level, then smooth off evenly with a block. For that sort of size gap mate wont take long to do, i'd give it a go, even if you **** it up, it takes five mins to cut / ground down and re fill / smooth the surface at a body shop / someone who knows what they are doing. You aint got much too lose by trying other than about a tenner on materials! If it looks good, prime and spray, over spray, let it go off for a few days, then laquer, let that go for a few days and use thinners to blend in over spray, bobs your uncle fannies your aunt!

p.s i never have any problem with speed bumps around swindon, only sharp inclines etc (driveways on hills and stuff) spped bumps are fine, I just have to go real slow so the suspension doesnt bog at all, but I dont care, gives people a chance to look at me car lol.

I bought chasis dynamics springs from needforspeed up north. Lowered car about 60mm I think, with 18inch running 265x35x18 they sit under arch perfect, car still handles like a dream, i would say much better than stock, also running 245x40x18 on front and they go right up under the arches, they clear everything by literaly 1-2mm if the plastic splash guard on underside isnt perfect it grinds on it, but, after some severe securing, it works fine and looks the b*******, camber is off, the wheels are towing in and look like there is no way they will turn on lock and they go under arch, but they are fine, I just switch tyre sides half way through tread on inner wall, lol. springs cost about 90 squid i think, and tbh i been in cars with much better shocks etc and it seems no diff at all to mine. A guy in my street owns a Z got hks springs etc on, and he says his looks crap compared to mine as he wants his to sit as low as mine lol.
  19. p.s oh yeh, do you think its a bad idea to still be driving my car around? i'm keeping an eye on all the fluid levels and not boosting hardly at all when driving at mo.
  20. yeh I think that way to go duff, Would wet oil get in tubby hoses tho if PCV's blocked? Gonna order some from feeney this w/end if hes got em in. Guess worth a try and if it cures it i'll be happy ad fookin larry, if not, well I guess thats one thing I wont have to worry about replacing in future. Cheers.
  21. Im heading up there this year, was gonna go last year but it fell through, i'll be heading from swindon, can head up from reading way / newbury an meet up with some peeps if anyone going from that direction, gonna be camping too, of course all this will come off IF i get me Z sorted
  22. So after many seperate diagnosis of my car smoking a bit on deccel after high boost, here's what I found; Two local engine tuners said turbo seals Nissan said Stem Seals Two other mechanics said stem seals Turbotech*** said crank case breather system or tubbies three people have said PCV valves specifically So what I have found out is **** ALL!!! Whats the point in trying to get yur car fixed when even so call trained mechanics can't make their god damn minds up!!!!!!!! So far, taken IC's off, some traces of wet oil on passenger side IC dont know if this is normal, I would think not, also passenger side tubby to IC hose was wet with oil, driver side normal, just a bit sticky but fairly dry. 3mm of oil swiming in bottom of plenium / intake on both ends etc, TB's clean as a whistle  Hoses from IC to TB clean as a whistle   Blow of valve on passenger side black oil on trumpet, car runs mint most of time, a little lumpy on tick over, anyone else put in there 2p on this one b4 i start buying expensive bits?
  23. Sound pretty kewl actually, the whole light thing and highlighting edges sound kewl, not for any car, but then if you going for a purple re-spray, well why not, it would match pretty well.
  24. ah here some more lol; http://www.sfu.ca/~tychueh/rice/ http://www.anti-rice.com/rice2.html :D
