Oh yeh and here's a funny one, ever since I've owned the Z, whenever I have been to a petrol station I have shoved the receipt in the ash tray, not to keep but just out the way cause I couldnt be arsed to put it in me wallet. Then it became a bit of a habbit, and its so jammed up with petrol receipts for over a years use that there is no possible way to get anymore screwed up in there. Might have a read of em one day if i'm that sad and bored to see how much i spent on petrol in a year! Would be funny as **** to see

I only earn a bit under 20k Mines cost about 7k, all paid up in cash no debt :D Only debt I got for the Z is the 530 on my c/card I had to do this month. I must admit though, parts arnt cheap, but if your willing to have a bash at it without paying theaving ****stains to do the work, then you will be ok. Only real debt I got is me mortgage, 600.00 and month me missus pays the rest of the bills :D Not so good recently I have spent 700.00 on tyres in less than 4 months :(

I wouldn't really buy a modded one unless its from the club. My opinion is in general, people who have modded one, has more than likely ragged it hard, best off buying a standard one off an old chap with good s/h and has not been given a hard time. I know u can get ones like below with wheels etc, (although 1 link has a low milage standard Z) but I recon better to spend that cash on a minter. I'd rather have a Z that was standard and went than one with 19" rims that had a ****ed gear box / turbos etc and sat in my garage soon after I bought it. I know not everyone who mods cars raggs them, but lets be honest, most do, all of us on here are obsessed with making their Z's faster etc, and we all know we give them a fair bit of welly, how else would we know they needed to be faster!! and want to keep making them faster!!!! However people in the club look after them and take pride in them, so you'll get a better one. As for other people who arn't even interested in the club/take a keen interest in their cars are just out to ragg them and race them for show till they blow. I always say you never know whats happened to an import, its been in another country ffs. Oh yeh, and take someone with you who knows Z's, a friend of mine would have bought the first one he seen if Jay hadn't gone with him, he was into the hype too much and didn't know about the cars. Saw loads advertised at like 500bhp mint etc etc, and they turned out to be complete blags. Easy for someone to advertise say a 300-350 as 600 when someone is buying one who has never owned one etc, specialy if it's their first propper sports car, it will seem v fast and they wont tell. Also someone else who knows them and isn't buying the car will give you honest opinion and not get glazed over with appearence of car etc like the buyer will. You don't want to buy shine over shit. I got a 1992 Z TT, Decatted it and straight through zorst all way from down pipes, recently been getting smokey probs, not on boost, but only after high boost and i let off accel for a few seconds? Car is mint, no smoke at boost, startup or tickover? Interested in hearing about this breather system kit u talk about and what it does / how it fits/replaces, I've had pcv's out and they were fine.

oh yeh, rear ebc was bout 15 quid, they dont do red stuff or any other than standard for rear I was told. And the front Price was for R34 calipers, but Z pads about same price so I recon 90 squid

Mine were Redstuff on front got em for 71.00 :D (no vat) and normal ebc for rear (dont do red stuff) Green's to light for Z's not high enough temp rating and too soft. Red stuff's the ones to go for.

Hi lads, Just checked, they were AVO springs on box, and I think they were chasis dynamics ones, not 100% on that. Just ask for whichever ones are lowest!!!! Anyways, they been fitted two years now and still mint, brill springs. p.s, the IC cooling vents on standard bumper are ok, but no way would air/can air be ducted to brakes from there! too much in way! Better off removing side clusters (not used on uk cars) and ducting air from there to arches if you can!

Speaking of cooling, had the intercoolers off the other day to flush out, anyone noticed the realy poor air ducting system from top of the wing to induction from arches??? absolute crap!!!! the end of duct sits at top of arch behined plastic trim!!!!!!

Not interesting, Just got a bit pissed up, but a friend of mine ended up getting very pissed, picking a fight with every one in town, then picked on three cop cars and in general was being an arse hole!!! Just got home after a few hours head-locking and baby sittin him :confused: He accused me of chatting up his little sister too!!!!! Not good :(((( Anyone else had a more successful night than me?

jezz's chips at horsham are a good buy mate, I got a full veilside replica kit for mine from overrevs.co.uk, for about 400.00!!!! was pretty damn good quality too, they do some odd bits, ND do some good quality mechanical stuff but a tad expensive, love S13's I remember the day when I thought they were a bitch to work on, and then, well.....then came the Z which makes the s13 a walk in the park!!! Damn good motor tho, went forever.

If it were dying after accel when revs dropped I would say induction, but as you said when its accel that kinda throws that idea out the window, could be fueling probs.

1 word, Razo's = shit (actually thats two lol) Plastic, build wuality less than a pc joystick all start comming apart and look fkin aweful, nothing like in pics, plastic silver, pure pants. Mate of mine has one, it is pure tack. I'm planing on making me own although nowt wrong with the standard Z one, hand rest on it perfect :D IMHO who the fook wouyld pay that much for a peice of plastic that looks like an amiga joysick reject?

Me and Jay just fitted the launch control to it, no use whatsoever as it would kill the box, but it sounds mental when u reving it in neutral if you want to show off lol. Think I might have to get a emanual lol. Although, then again, auto's got the best built in launch control ever!!! I just lock up the brembos, TC off, full throttle, and spin the wheels whilst being perfectly still upto 7k, then let of the brake and voom, smearing all over the road. I might add I do respect my Z and don't do this all the time tho. me p.s just got her mot'd sailed through apart from the illegal number plate, and a massive emissions test failure!, due to my amazing missfiring by testing the TC on the car for half hour before. So anyway, it settled down after a while!!!

Hehe, that sounds mental, i've got launch control for my racelogic but havn't put it on cause I heard it don't work on an auto? Sounds good on 5% slip mind pops like mad but then it's no slidey slidey fun lol. Any ideas if I can use it anyone? Does sound sweet tho mate :D

Do u know what, I was gonna do-nut it and thought that it might draw too much attention, then i suddenly realised my car was already drawing far too much lol, so I should have!!! The point of it is to sound funny what other possible reason? I can't divulge how cause it's special lol, but, if it were the car that were ****ed, i've got more sense than to be flooring it like that, and if it were ****ed it would be screaming, smoking and not pulling half as well as shown, and I wouldn't even be posting a clip pointing people to listen to the sound of my car would I now lol.

the whistle is perfectly normal, not ****ed turbo, ****ed turbos scream this just whistles loud, lol, its an added part on the exhaust system, i can turn on and off when i like. me
