150.00 for a conolly hide, high quality stuff, 3 quid for some 3M spray glue and a couple of quid for super glue. Retrimed everything that was tweed, steering wheel, and even top of dash near the clocks, and TBH could have done with a quater of the leather I bought so would have been half that price easy. The seats you can get really nice covers like I beleive matty has fitted on his front and back seats recently (look spot on) and they are 400.00. So my guess I about 480.00 materials (genuine, nice leather) and a weekend hard graft, surely better than spending 800.00 on vinyl!

Yup 20p resistor, just goes usualy on one of the wires to the afm, reducing the signal thinking its geting less air than it is, so puts more fuel in, result? too much fuel hardly ever works and you gotta be careful not to det. Lots of people do it to ford engines, I even tried it once :eek: I tried it once on a st200 I had as the americans rave about it on their car clubs, never worked, engine just sounded a bit diff.

well the previous thread kinda died cause people stopped responding? I'll be leaving early too, so its possible so far us three can meet before going to the services.

So, who lives in the; Cornwall / devon, reading (and some berkshire areas close to reading), wiltshire, bristol / bath (and the rest of somerset if not too far out) area?? lol thats exactly what i been working on this weekend for billing to show off! might go for gold now instead lol Did you use that sticky like foil stuff? cause the only thing I was worried about was it rippling up when the glue gets hot, I was going to try and get some stainless cut and polish it up, but thought that was too much hastle. I was going to do the top two the bottom one and all side ones, but in hindsight seing the piccie of yours that might be a bit too much yours looks about right. Nice job mate me

p.s dont post too much on this we dont want ppl learning how to break into our beloved Z's do we!!! Also how come the key just turns? its connected directly to one of the lock pins?? the only reason I had loads of trouble getting in mine is cause it was de-locked, prior to that if the bat was dead it opened fine with a key battery or no?

The wire has to be pulled very hard you wont do it by hand, you'll shred your skin first, feel how hard you have to pull it inside the car, now image trying to grip the wire with your hands it can be done bu it will hurt like hell. Your best bet is to pull the wire at the catch with a long nose pair of pliers gripped to it (angled ones so once gripped you can tilt up or down to lever the wire). The way I did mine in the end was to jack the car up, undo all the plastic trim under the car, got a pair of long sheers, hammered thin wood on either blade (as to not cut the wire) then reached up with great difficulty and pulled on the wire with them. I attached another wire to the catch and hid it under the car somewhere, so now I can pull it to open, and it still requires a heck of a force, thats how I shredded me hand up.

I recon he should stick to building tractors lol... although the diablo VT roadster was one of the nicest cars around for a while, now they are pants IMHO rather have a porsche or a ferrari.

Exactly like I wanted to do mine mate, well nearly, going to cut mine the same as warren used to have on his, nice and subtle mate which is the best policy well done! What did you use to cut it?

FOOK ME! 400 cable ties! that does sound like hard graft lol, that cream set would go sweet with my cream retrim i've already done, might have to invest in a set of them! new turbos first tho.
