  3. Aint that green mate? :D
  4. Oh I c mine aint good enough eh? :p
  5. Looks cool. TBH ATM there are so many posts that do have good info also that are wasted and not on the FAQ. I mean how many times do PCV questions come up??? once a week? etc etc. Why dont we have a thread kicked off, where people can paste the thread for 1 or several good bits of info they have read on the forum and we put it all into the faq part. The only hastle I guess would be re-doing them in our new format.
  6. lmfao 'laybour' sound like a propper farmer dont i? needless to say I meant labour but then again my spelling has always been terrible.
  7. Oh well, anytime now then matey, our daughter came early! and all I was doing when my missus was in laybour was telling her not to worry the contractions will soon pass and to go back to sleep!!! In the morning I took the poor wife to the hospital and she was already ready to go, 1 hour later and my daughter was here!! At least we didnt have much waiting ~(well i didnt) My missus never let me live that one down lol. Anyways just wanted to wish you and your other half all the best!
  8. BTW excessive left foot braking and accelerating in drive/1st will kill fry your torque convertor eventually, so if you must try and show off by burning tyres dont do it much, none of the above is 'good' for the car at all.
  9. OUCH! never ever do that! Doing a netral drop will kill your transmition propper quick, the Z box isnt meant for it at all. If you feel you have to then all the way on the brake while in drive then floor it, that will smoke your tyres out, still not brill for the car but much better than doing that.
  10. Tooley, how can I contact you ingame mate? you've got your messeges turned off havnt you?
  11. ere you go, knew I heard it somewhere; http://www.twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=general&msg_id=838040&words=stalling%2c%3a%3atape
  12. I heard if you tape up the bottom of your induction kit it solves it! I think it was on TT net, (sounds like bloody stupid advice to me though!) mine had a similar problem, until I enclosed the induction in a chamber, seems to be fine now. I originally thought it was to do with the BOV's and in some cases I guess it might be, but I tried fitting a friends re-crics and sill had the same issue. Now the induction has a pannel at the bottom of it and is partly boxed in (mainly because my weather guard was missing, and I didnt want water getting in there) it never happens. Weird eh? if someone can explain the whole taping up jobbie or find the post that would be pretty cool, I can't seem to find it at the moment.
  13. Sure matey, i'll be on from about 6ish so I may see you on tonight, nights always on and stu is pretty much most the time. I would say to start off, mine some scordite, then take it to a station refine it and uick sell for a little bit. Later on its good to see if you can get someone who can haul large amounts and get them to loan you a can and haul it when its full for a small fee. Tht was you can mine like 200k continuously and it saves timw going back and forth loads.
  14. Money came out yesterday mate can you confirm this and update me account cheers!
  15. So where can we get our hands on them? lol. Where did you get your led ones from? cause my poor old fiat lights are looking a little dated.
  16. 2 atm matey, although the second person is still to confirm!
  17. yeh ok fine with me, so meet on the bristol to swindon side then, everyone else ok with that?
  18. Oh and this one is my fav of the whole car; oh an this one lol,
  19. This one, bit borring I know, but everytime I look at it I just think my car must look nice when its flying past people and they see this view hehe. Also when people see the back then pull up beside me at the lights I always get the 'What is it?' because they dont recognise the back hehe.
  20. Spot on answer mate, I guess i'll leave it for now, but carry it to billing in the boot with a screwdriver lol! Cheers
  21. I should really read posts before posting zevans was spot on, and yes the bar gets softer toward the back
  22. As mentioned, its fine to jack up there, but only for wheel changes really. The real problem is that so many people just whack the jack on, and instead of going around the sill and doing it properly, they jack up straight on the lower part of it and bends / breaks the skin, then weather gets into it and it starts to break up and peal back, then your whole sill starts rotting. It’s not very safe to do work under as its just not stable enough, I always jack the car up with a proper trolley jack from one of the supporting bars underneath the car (not sure the proper name the ones that run from front to back). I always put an axel stand under it too. If your cars anything like mine, you need to use the standard jack anyway to start, because my car is too low to fit a normal jack under, so it’s a real pain in the arse, a three stage process just to jack the fooking thing up from one corner!
