  1. Up for the early start. ? Not trying to be the pessimist here but the gritters have been out in force around my way today! ?
  2. What benefit is there to those who don’t use it by getting rid?
  3. This works ok but as it just shortcuts to Safari, after a few days of clicking the app icon, it means we’ll have several tabs of the same website open!
  4. Fingers crossed for some good weather! ?
  5. Nope, just my internet browser. It would probably be easier as an app though, even if it just opened the browser, in the app!
  6. That is some machine, credit to you ?
  7. Nice to finally get out and about in the Z after such a long time! ?
  8. Yeah, sorry lads, I’m away that weekend! ?
  9. I would be willing to be shortlisted to exhibit and can attend for the duration.
  10. Hi Adam, I ordered a sample set of different rubber trims from an eBay seller to choose the one that sat nicely and ordered a length of that. It’s been many years since I did it now but it was something along the lines of the link below. I’d recommend you measure up and have a good look at what’s available for something suitable, this is just an example: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/223074119499?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=zb8wt1PpT56&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=1JmhxbuoReG&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  11. Welcome to the club. Share some pictures and some members may recognise the car and be able to help you further.
  12. I think you’d have to raise the floor to install a sub in that location. I think Andrew’s solutions is probably the best you’ll get for sub location. To be fair, you also don’t need to do what I have done as any modern Class D digital amp will fit nicely under the floor on the RH side opposite the sub and power all your speaker needs. In a moment of madness I decided I wanted analogue amps for a more natural sound quality, but these take up more space. In reality, at 70mph with the wind/road noise, it’s unlikely that the difference in SQ is worth it and my Z has a fairly significant amount of sound deadening and noise insulation!
  13. My spare wheel doesn’t fit over my brakes so I used it to improve the sound quality of the audio…
  14. Loving the innovation here ?
  15. Welcome back to Z ownership! ?
  16. COTY!
  17. Details required please Tony!
  18. Mine had a Kakimoto single exit on it when imported and sounded absolutely amazing! I only removed it for aesthetics but it was a big loss in the sound department and I’m fairly sure my Mongoose choked some power over the Kakimoto too!
  19. Looks great ?
  20. I’ll start with what is probably the most common off the shelf system that was previously available for the 2+2; Mongoose/Blue Flame. A basic but reasonable quality stainless, cat back system in 2.5” bore and quad 3” tips. This exhaust keeps the 2 banks seperate with no link pipes of any design. It has a small silencer in each pipe and the back box making it a very tame system when it comes to volume. Personally, I’m not a fan of the idle note and feel it may sound better with an X or H pipe downstream.
  21. Let’s get a thread going with pictures, of off the shelf and custom made exhausts. Please include as many details as possible including the brand/manufacturer, bore/tip size, flow design (X/H etc) and any other relevant details. If you’re unsure of the specifics, post a picture and other members can help to identify it. Feel free to duplicate systems that have already been posted to give ideas of the aesthetics on different colours and mod state cars. It doesn’t have to be your own car, post away!
