  1. Hehe, it is a lot nicer than forum runner to use, but even with the pro version, everything just feels a bit slow?
  2. But you won't ditch tapatalk now will ya?
  3. This is bad news... With the recent release of BF4 my PC is really showing its age, this forum addition could be expensive!
  4. Even if you get a replacement bootlid, you'll need to remove the glass to paint properly?
  5. Happy days... I'm still yet to do my bonnet strut mod! I have no excuse...
  6. I was about to criticise it for being slow, then I discovered that it is a tactic of the free version, £2.49 now invested for tapatalk pro, bye bye forum runner!
  7. Just installed tapatalk, this is the only forum I frequent so was stuck with using forum runner until now. I've heard tapa was better and I concur, what a massive difference! Good choice to switch, although I thought it was a 'pay for' app, tapatalk was free on the app store, bonus!
  8. Tis a shame, the original logo had a touch of quality and class to it, the new logo text seems a bit.... 'chavvy'?
  9. Your most likely candidate will be the tension rod bushings (identified as nadgered by the gloopy, sticky gunk dripping from them), but it's worth an inspection to isolate and identify any other latent defects while you're at it. Have a good look at the condition of the discs, ensure all your calipers are functioning correctly, all pistons and pads are moving freely, assess the condition of the upper and lower control arm bushings. Energy suspension bushes come highly recommended for well reviewed and reasonably priced replacements and there are a few options of places to purchase from. Z1 CZP etc, some sellers on eBay, Luke and maybe Mike. If you find a sticking piston(s) this could cause uneven wear on the disc causing vibration, this would mean rebuild or replace/upgrade.
  10. Depending on the year of your VW, you can turn off your lane change function, or in fact change it to a different number of flashes per touch. You need to plug it into a vagcom, pop round to mine and I'll do it for you :) I too would like to retrofit this function and am keen to see further development of Andrew's mod.
  11. Happy birthday mukka :)
  12. They only get fog out the front!
  13. This thread needs a date :)
  14. No, the uk 94 will have series 2 connectors whereas the jdm 90 will be series 1. Your best bet is to look for an early uk spec for the clocks.
  15. I think the SWB looks the best personally. Although if you're not bothered, just find one that matches all your other requirements and get the best you can for your money.
  16. And you didn't pop in for a cuppa why? I needed a hand earlier too :(
  17. Happy Birthday Neil :)
  18. Happy birthday matey :)
  19. V8 z32's are overdone, V10 is where it's at now Bri...
  20. After the pain and effort you went through to do the zed and you still tackle your 4x4!
  21. I see that you have already started a thread offering a potential group buy on these but I thought I'd leave some feedback. I had a set of these and they were pretty damn good. The quality of the materials was excellent and fitment, bob on. Although I sold them to Gaz (hellraiser) in the end, maybe he can give some feedback too...
