  1. You'll find that most coilovers will be substantially lower than stock on the highest setting unless you mess with the preload a fair bit. If your having ride height problems on stock springs they must have sagged a fair amount so you will be better off replacing them rather than getting coilovers, you'll save money too.
  2. Happy days, loving the TE37s although it's a shame it's LHD and it doesn't have blue tint glass :(
  3. Hey guys, I'm after some bits from Derby but am struggling to find the time to collect them, I thought I'd stick up a post to see if anyone was heading out that way and could bring some bits closer? I'm in Essex but if someone is able to bring them anywhere towards this direction, it would be very handy. Any help appreciated, CheerZ Joel.
  4. I do love a good road trip :)
  5. This was discussed in another thread recently, a member has done a little research and found its last mot was failed with a note of "DANGEROUS" added! I think this car would be a big gamble and the buyer should be prepared for expensive or labour intensive structural repair bills.
  6. Those black decals are a pain in the arse to fit! Do yourself a favour and get the paint shop to paint it on so you don't have to worry about it.
  7. Loving the Varrstoens, get some more pics up :)
  8. Indeedy :) Weston-super-Mare February 2006.
  9. Yeah I had a good nose around yours in Coventry. It was nice to finally see one fitted in person, I do like it, I just think it would need modifying to suit my tastes. The redesigned type 2 rear bumper addresses this factor by smoothing in the transition from the bumper to the diffuser, however this is the full bumper and for 2+0 only.
  10. All I see now is their Supra stuff in the feeds, it feels as though the 300zx is forgotten about! Early next year in TwinZ timescale will be late 2016 lol!
  11. I agree, the side lips don't seem to flow with any other lines. I toyed with the idea of cutting off the side wings (that form the edge of the diffuser) and making the whole thing more slimline so it's less bulky off the bumper. That would make it more of an infill panel than a non functional diffuser, but it'll probably just gather dust for years while I procrastinate! Time for it to find another home. I originally settled for a paint job at custom exotics, I accepted the quote and was just waiting for them to let me know when they can book me in. That was several months ago now and I'm still waiting for that slot! So yes, in the end I booked it in with Kraftwork.
  12. Don't forget to get the Intercooler ducts to make use of the large intake area.
  13. I agree, winter tyres in cold wet weather are like night and day compared to summer tyres.
  14. To be fair, if you're going to replace the strosek with something, the TwinZ front is a good candidate as the design is kind of an extension of the strosek anyway. I'm not a fan of the strosek front because of the area above the lower intake (where the fog and indicators sit), which is the part that the TwinZ have incorporated extra intake area for functional cooling and inlet. All this joking aside, like Howard, I also happen think it would look better with a TwinZ front but I also understand that it would mean taking away part of the cars heritage and rarity. An original strosek kitted Z, in mine and many folks eyes, could be likened to an SMZ or a TKZ which you would be foolish to tamper with.
  15. I agree, the photos I got were a bit pants! It was my own stupid fault for not trying it on before I had it painted and not after. During those test fits the diffuser damaged several areas of the still soft paint, and so I stopped and didn't get a final fitment to get decent pics. Nevertheless, I tend to agree that my back end wouldn't really benefit from installing this and I'm sure it offers zero functionality!
  16. Yeah, I did see your thread and was tempted to post on it but I still wasn't certain so didn't want to waste your time. If the perspective buyer doesn't want it, then you will have first refusal.
  17. Absolutely, I never had intentions of a concours project; that said, I think my rear spoiler looks more OEM than the OEM itself!
