  1. That's a Navan spoiler.
  2. Didn't bantambunny have one of these kits on one of his cars?
  3. I have been told a few times, but forget the exact terms of use. I'd say it's probably a big 1G3 area ;)
  4. There are exemptions to these laws currently in place Simon. Mine was painted in 2k base and 2k clear by an approved bodyshop fully authorised to do so. They're allowed within the scope of specific types of business use and from what I have seen, a very large percentage of paint shops have this exemption granted and still use it.
  5. Close call. I would be inclined to get the car up in the air and have a good look around to make sure there are no more surprises lurking. And when the wheels go back on, make sure they're tight/torqued. Possibly caused by simple bad maintenance with insecure wheel bolts!
  6. I connected the red live wire up to the oem loom as normal, but connected the black earth wires from the ballast straight onto a ring terminal each side and bolted to good earth points.
  7. Check the ballasts, one may be 35w and the other 55w.
  8. Silver lining I guess. A nice close to a stressful chapter no doubt.
  9. Also check that the hazard switch is returning fully to the off position. It's common for the hazard switch mounting to break which causes the slider switch to skew and become lodged in the mid position. The hazards will be off but the switch is not quite stowed far enough to reactivate the indicators.
  10. I thought Surrey rolling road had shut down? I'm going for 352 :)
  11. So, on the upside, you'll be getting the car back in even better condition then it was before at relatively little expense to yourself - you also learned that your friend is an A hole and (luckily) there were no casualties.
  12. Kin ell. Has your friend spoken to you about this? Does he still have teeth?
  13. Do you have any pictures in daylight with them switched off?
  14. Let me the f*** out of this room and drive me like you stole me Mr Joel!...
  15. The leather targa bags also make good protectors for the front wings.
  16. Make hay while the... Wind blows everyone's roofs off!
  17. Welcome to the club matey. Looks like a nice UK spec you've got yourself there :)
  18. I thought the rear spoiler was an option on the NA?
  19. At first I thought it was a 5 letter registration but on closer inspection I realise that it is partially covered! I wondered why he had such a big open space on the plate, especially when mounted I that location, but now I see why.
  20. Why such a big front plate art213?
  21. It really depends on the power output of the 2 amps and the cable gauge of the existing power feed.
  22. Just remove the cap from the old roller.
