wheels and tyres question
20j on the rear... Coooool! I assume you meant 10j and 255 does seem a bit skinny for that. As said use the size guide to play with widths and profiles but I suspect 235/45-17 front and 275/40-17 rear will be about right. The space saver rear wheel will do just fine, it's only to get you home or to a tyre shop. What makes you think it won't do?

Rear Fogs
I spliced into the front fog circuit for my rear fogs. Simple job, I also linked it into the rear fog indication lamp on my UK cluster as 'strictly speaking' this is also an MOT requirement. I only connect up my rear fogs for MOT time by switching over the terminals in my centre reverse light panel which have the LED fog and reverse boards installed.

How to remove the quarter panel trim?
Ah yes you're right, I do apologise I was explaining the interior trim. I did wonder but it now makes sense about your rust area! The exterior trim should just pry up and out of the clips that are bonded in with the rear quarter window. Unfortunately the rubber seal that extends round and onto the moulding is not replaceable so you will need to carefully remove this first to preserve it for refit.

Silver Zed on eBay - wow!!
This is not a million miles from me if anyone needs a recommendation or inspection. One thing I will say is that, although it looks like one, this is not a UK spec, it is a JDM import (if that matters to you).

How to remove the quarter panel trim?
The rear quarter trim is held in by the 3 pop fasteners down the forward edge, a screw under the bench seat and a screw at the top rear which is concealed by the small round trim blank. Once these are out you will need to pull the trim out at the bottom to slide it down and out from the window trim (it slots up into the window surround trim), manoeuvre the rear seatbelts free and unclip the front top and bottom halves of the trim to remove the front seatbelt.

19 inch wheels Possible ?
Absolutely, although she has been out and about in Essex for the last 7 years! Not as a daily drive though so not a regular commuter.

19 inch wheels Possible ?
Yep, a month or so before the car went in for paint. I collected the car around 3 weeks ago now but am just trying to find the time to rebuild it! I have a good deal of it done already so shouldn't be long now.

19's for a 2+2 and 18's for a 2+0 is my preference ? (depending on the nature of the use of the car, my preference is purely aesthetic)

It was a genuine question as I don't understand how they sustain themselves financially. It has been mentioned about the oil reserves but I didn't think they had been tapped into yet?

Camber adjustment.
Yes, I had several discussions with Jerrick and decided that the meister 6/4 (which at the time was the recommended setup for the SWB) may suit my requirements better on my family estate model. It's like a big wobbly boat on max soft but very comfy! I also have the Stillen ARBs and have been meaning to stiffen them up to try and keep the car flatter in corners whilst retaining the soft ride on the road.

Camber adjustment.
The coilovers you used had too higher spring rate. I purposely went for a very low spring rate with my coilovers (6/4) to maintain a comfortable and streetable ride, all with rubber bushings to keep nvh to a minimum. They will never be top performers on a track but I can find a reasonable balance/compromise by stiffening the rebound for the very occasional track use that they see. Certainly still an improvement over my previous shock and lowering spring setup and a lot more flexible in use.
-
Camber adjustment.
That's because you've been in performance cars with suspension setup for track use. With my coilovers set to max soft, the car is as comfortable, if not more so than my old performance shocks and lowering springs setup. I think it's more about choosing the right components to suit your requirements.

Scottish independence and The United Kingdom
Where does the money come from for Scotland to sustain their free healthcare and free education? It is my understanding that Scotland is mainly subsidised from the uk tax payer as Scotland receive more funding then they receive in Scottish tax payers money.

Bumper Panel
Why would you want to remove that? I'm assuming you have rust issues and are looking to rectify? I'd recommend a local repair of the damaged areas personally rather than cut out of significant amount of good material.
