LMAO @ Hamsters line before his final run with the extra 5000hp of afterburner on: "I've got 10,000 horsepower and possibly the biggest accident you've ever seen in your life" If only he'd known :o  Clip at BBC: http://www.bbc.co.uk/mediaselector/check/player/nol/newsid_6300000/newsid_6308500?redirect=6308515.stm&news=1&nbram=1&bbram=1&nbwm=1&bbwm=1 The "no fuss" welcome back was funny as fvck! He deserve's some credit for being the fastest man in the UK at 314mph :nana2: Shame he didn't manage it in 2 runs for the official record.

PMSL I thought that too  That £75K Jag looks a bit like a Hyundai Coupe to me :nono: Never worth that kind of money it looks plastic. I remember driving down to Trax one year with a couple of other tuned Z's and the old XKR (same 400+bhp engine) coming up behind and flashing us to move over. So we did... then pulled up to his bumper and flashed him back. He got up to 155mph ish before having to pull over and let us past into the early morning sun :D  Loved the roadworks bit :smash: :D

Raf
I was looking at RAF Technician when leaving school and decided against it in the end. Biggest mistake I ever made I reckon. I'd love to be doing it now but too old :(

Silicone Cooling Hoses Needed
Depends which hoses it is exactly. If it's one of the many under the plenum then you can strip all these out and make it much more reliable for the future. They're only needed to keep the plenum warm in cold climates IE north pole LOL Do a search for "water bypass" for more details. Some of the others can then be swapped for standard water hose from any car spares place. The small hoses near the water pump are Nissan parts from your local dealer or try MJP in the traders section. They're not much.

Newbie from Japan...
Welcome! Why do we buy these cars and spend all our money and years of our time repairing them when the Japanese have the common sense to get rid of them?   Chris.

rough value of this Z ??
I think you got a bargain there :) The wheels must be worth £300-400 alone. Looks in good condition considering. Hopefully you can get it running without too much cost.

Advice on paddle clutch slipping
How much extra cost? About 5 times the price if it's the RPS I reckon LOL How much power are you running? :)

Dyno Day
I might tag along but the Z is off the road. Any chance of a lift up with you Phil, from your place? Chris.

Advice on paddle clutch slipping
My ACT paddle clutch never slipped, it gripped TOO well at first. It's slipping now though after a few thousand miles :(

Online Service Manual
It is, we have our own copy

Sticky accelerator pedal
There's just a switch for kickdown so it wouldn't make it hard to press, it's got to be the cable or throttle that's sticking.

Why i'm not going to reply to you...
I think anywhere else in Europe will do. Basically anywhere the girls don't think it's attractive to copy guys and drink 20 pints every weekend, fight in the street, stuff their faces with 18" pizzas and throw up  Still it's what makes them look like Bunny's hunny

steam from passengers side near battery
The heater matrix hoses are in the centre at the back of the engine so unlikely. Sounds more like a turbo water feed that's split...

Why i'm not going to reply to you...
I've been out with some stunning girls off the web that I wouldn't have dared approach when I'm out. If you get a few pictures first you know what you're getting. Had some very interesting nights out and could tell you some right stories LOL ;) Cheeky is definately the way forward :D Even if they're not ideal you always meet new people and it gives you more confidence to go get their friend

Why i'm not going to reply to you...

A quick poll please
The rear light panel looks like it's been blended in to the body (Yuk!) so it will be a big job to put 99 spec's back in.
