  1. Turns words into multiple ones too I think ;)
  2. What's it all aboot? http://www.alan-partridge.co.uk/multimedia/videoclips/imalans01/s01e01/s1e1Aboot.mpg
  3. 99% it's the HICAS ball joints ;) Mine failed the MOT with play in the wheels so I'm sure it will be noticeable. If you've got wear then speak to Mike Feaney @ MJP in traders section he usually has the bits in stock and knows what you'll need. Faster and cheaper than Nissan. The parts that wear are the ball joint and sometimes the end of the HICAS arms so might be worth doing both as it's quite a job to swap the joint anyway and you know it will all be back to factory spec. I think the arms and joints cost about £130 for both sides but could be wrong. Joints alone would be much less I think.
  4. Wow! Did you get the Mrs to write that? ;) Clarkson deserves a medal for being the only person on TV who dares to say what everyone else thinks :) Touslecoq, There's a few of us old timers still on here. That was a very nice Z you had, get some pics up and you'll sell it in no time on here.
  5. He called Topless as soon as she left and got an instant stiffy
  6. Did they leave with all the other cakes hidden in their hoodies?
  7. Nodywork? It is for Noddy's I suppose  More than a little, I think that's the worst look i've seen. Makes me want to :hurl: LOL If my car was black I'd definately have the 99 spec lights on it but not quite sure they suit a silver wide arch. Still love them though and on a stock car they're the only choice IMHO.
  8. Sounds like the problem I had with my HICAS ball joints being worn. The back end squirmed all over under full throttle and over the slightest bump it would kick from side to side. The joints are a pain to change though as the hub usually has to come off to get them out.
  9. The smaller turbos were put there to make the make the performance the same as the manual. If you changed them to bigger ones it would probably spool up slower and actually reduce performance. The auto is quicker to 100mph than the manual. If you want more power then go for some bigger upgraded turbos :)
  10. The fan shroud unclips so the top section comes out then the fan just unbolts from the pulley with 4 small nuts on the front of it. Then it's a case of taking the other belts off so you'll probably have to get under the car and slacken off the alternator and the pulley tensioner for the aircon and power steering. Pretty simple to do really.
  11. :x: :x: :x: Sorry, that was just a noise!
  12. Wow

Hahahahaha!! I love the way she just walks off safe with her handbag and doesn't even look at the car she just totalled as though nothing happened
  13. I wouldn't put them on an otherwise standard car. I've got the Strosek (Fiat!) rear lights and I like them on my car but think they look shiite on non-wide-arch cars. All a matter of taste (or lack of it)
  14. Get this: I booked my car in for the brakes checking because I had a slight leak on one line somewhere at the caliper and needed the steering gaiters changing then an MOT after. The twats called me to say it had failed so I went to collect it to find they hadn't had time to do the jobs I'd asked so just did the MOT... and it failed on brakes and gaiters! FFS I went mental. After lots of arguing with an 80 year old git who said it was all too complicated for her and not her problem, I left with a refund and never went back!
  15. I understood that bit, can you translate the rest? :D
  16. The Samaritans must have a surge of calls every night when Eastenders is on.
  17. A nicely modified Z can compete on looks and performance with real supercars, I'm not sure the Cossie is in that kind of league. The Cossie and Pulsar get respect from car nuts but a Z gets looks from everyone.
  18.
  19. Even I forgot to turn it over to the best page of the year! :D ;) (I'm ignoring the straight comments) LOL
  20. At least you got some. He sent me a faulty set in an old shoe box that he'd already passed around people trying to repair them then sent them to me as new! Of course he didn't know how that could have happened and a replacement set were on the way along with a set of gauges I've never had  :xxx:
  21. Only the main beam bulb uses the reflector on the Z. The dipped beam is from the glass projector lense and isn't affected by the rest of the headlight shape.
  22. Wipe it on the curtains  I find pressing some sticky insulation tape onto it and peeling it off slowly brings most stuff off :)
  23. That's pretty bad luck you're having there! I know the feeling, I've had so many problems with mine over the years :( Hope you get it sorted without too much more expense.
  24. You can rely on Clarkson to cause trouble :D http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/6324129.stm
